My wife and I were among the 500 people that your department gave hepatitis shots to yesterday, Sunday, March, 24, 2019. We were there from 12 to 5 PM. To us it seem to be a lot of waiting and sometimes frustrating. And there were some complaining. But when I got home and heard the news that your staff serviced 500 people I had a whole different opinion of your staff. I want to commend your staff on how they handled that many people and probably a surprise to them. They were all nice and friendly with everybody I saw. Somebody would complain but the staff members handled it really exceptional well. Normally when 500 people are served in a situation like that , good feelings and appreciation are rare, especially when it involves government services. But you have an excellent staff of people and I commend them. Thank you.

Family Planning unit was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The nurses took time to hear my concerns and answer my questions (and I had a lot of questions.) They talked me through the procedure and made me feel comfortable.

Worst people ever if I knew who to report them too I would cause their unacceptable and rude I get it their short staff but to be rude and have a attitude for no reason is annoying at this point their unorganized and rude why do people work in the health department if they don’t actually wanna help and to only have a nurse to do a Covid vaccine come on now it’s bad enough you have to run back and forth they need help seriously company retreat or something I’m very disappointed my second experience this is bad as well if I had time to go anywhere else trust me I would everywhere I else is better than them at this point 😤😤

I have utilized the services of the Health Dept multiple times, and I feel like they are doing an amazing job in the face of such uncertain times! I just got my Pfizer vaccine today, and so far, so good! The process they have set up to schedule and actually get the vaccine was seamless! Kudos and thanks to everyone working to help fight the pandemic!

Me and my partner just moved into an apartment. For the past month we have been non stop sick. Nausea, Sinuses, Abdominal pain & diarrhea, sore throats and congestion. Each of us got tested for Covid-19, Strep, Flu, and various other throat like and nasal sickness. Tested negative for everything. We started to do a little investigating and found there was black mold in our vents. I called the Health Department’s environmental services and before I even got a chance to explain any of this was cut off and told they can’t help me and that it is not their job. Don’t count on them to even listen to your concerns.

I made a three hour drive from Georgia to pick up my birth certificate on Monday only to be told the system was down. They directed me to another county’s health department 40 mins away. I get there and there system is down. I went back today after being told I was able to lick it up and they lady said come back tomorrow. I explained my situation from Onday and me driving again another 3 hours today and she didn’t care. No emotion or empathy, didn’t care. Happy I don’t live in that county or state terrible customer service. Wish I could give 0 starts. DO BETTER!!

I went to vital records in June to get a Death Certificate for my son for legal reasons and was told it would be mailed to him the next day which was the beginning of the week, it's now December and my son said he still hasn't received it, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT🤬 REALLY 6 FREAKING MONTHS THEY NEED TO DO BETTER.

I needed to get vaccination records for oversea travel, and from the receptionist to the medical record's customer service, I have never had such a pleasant experience with government. Each of these employees were so helpful. I applaud whomever is in charge there.... Top down customer service is working! Great job HCHD

This is my hometown health department and with everything I may do there is positive and negative people everywhere. Out of 38 yrs of my lifetime I have only experienced a few individuals that have been rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional at any of the health departments in Hamilton County. You have a few that spoil it for the rest. Sad really, because these days it also has become a matter of employee togetherness , which every employee has to take up for everyone even if an employee is acting like a jacka** on the job. While you are at work there should be a level dignity, respect, patience, diligence, responsibility, accountability, accountability for your actions, kindness to others no matter what their economic status might be. Being a professional a****** should not be in your job description. #ijs

Getting someone to answer the phone to set up an appointment is like brushing teeth while eating oreos. I have called twice now to set up an appointment for my son. The first time I got hung up on & the second time I've been put on hold for 10+ minutes, still CANNOT get someone to answer the phone! This is during business hours.
