This dhaba is on chattarpur main road just opposite Tivoli Garden. Well now dhaba is not justified word for this eating place, rather restaurant should be the right word. Anyhow it's really a very old dhaba or once it was really a dhaba. Time passed and this road which was once a non city road became a part of the city. The area developed and residential appartment near and around this road and place flourished. Since all this development now this so called dhabha also got a new look and changed entire dhabha into a kind of restaurant, leaving the name and may be food unchanged because today people know this dining due its name. It's kind of brand name. Ok so it's on main road, tho road is very narrow for parking due to traffic which keeps honking. The dhabha is reasonably ok, crowded after 12pm. It is mostly famous among non-vegetarians. Food is ok, for mediocre family it's a little expensive but for a reasonable salaried it's cheap. I was not allowed to click pictures inside the restaurant so limited pics. It was reasonablly clean. Toilet was ok. The manger incharge or owner was little unpolite or unpleasant. Won't say it's an excellent dhabha, an average place.

There are dhabas and then there is 'Ajit Khalsa Dhaba'. This is like the holy grail of dhabas. Not necessarily a dhaba as it has transformed in little bigger place over the course of time, but still it retains its essence of dhaba. Let me explain you how. First of all the ground floor has seating like a dhaba which is superb. And if you are out on date or with family then there is family lounge above which looks like a proper restaurant. But the best part unlike many greedy places is that the prices and rates are the same in both the seating arrangements. I have been here umpteen number of times for fine in to celebrate on various occasions and just like that when cravings for dhaba style food is there. I order regularly once to twice per week. It almost never disappoints. My only complaint is sometimes during peak hours maybe due to rush or in a hurry they put little bit more green chillies making dishes quite spicier. Hence during peak hours I specifically request to out as little chilly as possible and then we are good. It has lot of staff and they are humble as well as swift. The kitchen is partially open and it's freaking hugeee!! Food is served well in dishes. Taste is finger licking good. And I literally mean that!! The best part is the price which is just like the regular dhabas and the quantity served per dish is more than adequate. The owners are polite. All the payments are accepted whether it be cash, card or through online platforms. Home delivery is also offered for amount over 300 and above and within 2-3 km radius around. But be advised that it's available via calling only!! The place is highly recommended from my end. You have to visit this place to experience what I'm talking about. Whether you want dhaba experience for food or an excellent place offering delicious varities of food, this is the place to be. #Chicken Masala, #Butter chicken, #Stuffed tomato, #Malai Kofta, #Dum aloo, #Butter naan and #Garkic naan are amongst must try dishes. For starters #Afghani chicken and #Grill chicken are my favourites which you can try blindly.

Ajeet khalsa dhaba, located just opposite the famous Tivoli gardens in chatarpur area of Delhi. That's a perfect place to have authentic food dhaba style in the heart of Delhi. It's a very old outlet which serves pure desi food dhaba style. Yes some may say it's not a posh place or may doubt on The hygiene but when your tummy loves the food then you got to give other things a drop and enjoy the delicious food. Chicken curry, mutton curry with some hot nan and tandoori rotis are a must. And I swear this one won't pinch at all in ur pocket. It's Damn cheap. Try it to believe it. Happy eating :)

A great affordable place to chill with friends and family. Small gathering of 50 people can easily be done here.proper washrooms proper facilities are present. Great taste of chicken. 500 rupees for 4 people is enough to make you all full with chicken.

This place is one of best among other dhabas serving in Chattarpur. Be it veg course and non veg both. Must try dishes in Veg if I'd say then are Stuffed-tomato , Dum-aloo , Malai-kofta and Kadhai- Paneer. In non veg they are pretty good as well. Here must try lists would be Chicken Masala and Chichken-Rarra.

Place is perfectly for north Indian food. Food price is almost same which you get near by restaurant. They have space on ground floor and first floor. I must say that dhaba ambience is not too good which was expected but food quality is really awesome.

They are serving paneer and capsicum on the name of kadhai paneer. Please send your cook for training so that he can learn how to make kadhai paneer. Worst.

In Food I ordered chicken rara but in that there is no keema and when i asked them they said we make our dish in different style, then i said when there is no keema then how it is a chicken rara dish, then they said we give options to costumers that if they want keema or butter in there rara chicken, then i said I didn’t wanted butter you guy’s didn’t even asked or told me about this option, then they said now you have to eat this chicken rara,we nothing can do now. In service They are slow. In Atmosphere They can make it more aesthetically pleasing more lighting, more decorative n more attractive.

I'm their regular customer for last 8 years, I ordered a chicken tandoori and a chicken Afghani, but both were delivered half cooked, I spoke to the owner but he was unable to address the issue and connected me to his cook, literally he was drunk and was unable to assist, they were like "next time se aisa nahi hoga"

Quite good to had food their. Good in taste but response is quite slow with the people who serve foods and take order. Nice place with nice interior, but not must to be visited for extraordinary foods and taste. I think people can have lots of different taste in other place too.. But all though it's good. Thanks to serve few good things.

A BIG NO! Pathetic place. Ordered Chole Chawal and as I was about to have a bite, saw a big nail (कील) in my food which I was about to eat!!! Reported to the manager and they immediately took the nail from me so that I have no chance to take picture. They were not at all apologetic. Infact, expected me to pay for that food with nail, which I didn't even eat. Just a sorry would still have been enough for me. Instead, they were VERY RUDE. This place is not recommended to anyone, my friends!

We ordered butter Naan once and the waiter took the order. But then same waiter with consent of owner came and told its not available We can only serve roti. However on our very next table while we were having roti out of no option we saw him serving them butter Naan. This is clearly disrespectful and shouldn't be ignored . They serve their customer according to their random priority and not by choice. And not only us they kept one family unserved while others who came after went away after their meal. Poor service.

Little unhygienic. Food quality degraded over past couple of years. Now it is more like your luck play major role. You may or may not get a tasty food. Hope they improve again and maintain the standard

Want to give 0 stars to them for the sheer arrogant attitude of the owner and the workers alike, but unfortunately 1 is the minimum. We have been eating from this place since 2 years now and been there regular customers. Today we ordered butter chicken and mutton seekh kebab. After eating two pieces of chicken, while I was eating the third one, I noticed a foul (rotten like decomposing animals) smell and realized it was coming from the chicken. We stopped eating butter chicken and called the restaurant to inform them. Instead of apologizing or trying to understand the issue, the owner arrogantly started saying "chicken smells like this only". I explained to him and asked him to get it collected to check for himself. A runner collected it and the owner called again speaking in such arrogance that no such smell was coming and that we have had the entire butter chicken and returning these small pieces. I explained to him that I am neither asking for a refund nor complaining, rather concerned about the quality of the food, being their regular customers, but the owner was still rude and arrogant. Only concern, one should not become so arrogant so as to forget the base line of the food industry- being hospitable. The problem with Ajit Khalsa Dhaba is nothing but the sheer arrogance and ego. Good luck to those who are going to eat their food and God forbid find something below standards. We are just praying that our health is not affected when we wake up in the morning. Happy eating to all!

I ate potatoes and paneer paratha. The stuff on Alu paratha(potatoes) was so less that I felt I’m eating just a roti. Paneer paratha was really good. Service is good.

It is typical Punjabi Dhaba. I had butter chicken n roti. Taste was average. Restaurant management need to work on hygiene. Worth for one time visit.

Spacious and much crowded place. You can visit with your friends family. Good place for get together parties. Varieties of non-veg and veg option available at reasonable price.

I love Butter chicken and Butter Naan at this restaurant. Other non vegitarian dishes are also good but a little spicy. Punjabi food lovers might visit and enjoy several dishes here.

    1. CHEATERS--i came here from Hauz khas just for CHEESE TOMATO dish( which is a rare dish in Delhi) bcs this Ajeet dhaba has mentioned this dish in their menu. however, after ordering the dish, i found their CHEESE TOMATO to be PANNER TOMATO ( which is actually a fraud/cheating). Upon inquiry, they didn't even bothered. 2. toilet was dirty/ unusable 3. seating arrangement was good which was actually small 4.however, PANEER TOMATO was also average to good. 5. little bit pricey considering taste/ambience/hygiene. (2* just for the good seating arrangement and dish quality)

Ambience - Not Good for family Hygiene - On a moderate level Parking space - very congested Food quality - The Veg is not at all good, However the non veg is edible, But still it is not that good. Manager/Owners behaviour - Very rude, egoistic, Not at all cooperative. To conclude - If you are very hungry and all other restaurants nearby are closed then you can go in the dhaba(rather call it a restaurant), Otherwise this place is not recommended.

Fast service, yummy food at unbelievable price . Trust me you'll come back again. They have a first floor dining for families. Tip liberally. They deserve it .

Update on 28sep 2023 Still an average tasting Mughlai outlet. Food is ok. Good to eat when u have no other good options around and if u do not want to go far. Staff is mannerless and stares at u when u eat and response time is too bad for waiters. Do not expect a restaurant kinda feel. It's a proper dhaba. In all, the food was okay. sometimes the food is cooked a little salty but it's one of the good known restaurants on 100ft road in Chattarpur. had a pleasant experience but not outstanding.

Quick service & reasonable rates. I wish they didn't overload the chilli in every dish!! Too spicy for my liking, but others seem to enjoy their dishes more.
