If you are into viewing lighthouses you can actually see 3 of them all in one spot and if you look off into the distance a little you can also see the Mackinaw Bridge. It is a breathtaking view all around and would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Beautiful sunset views and a glorious breeze as you walk on the wave break. WARNING: do not stay past sunset as the entire beach area swarms with mosquitos!

We didn't actually go into the light house. We drove up from Harrisville, which was a nice drive. We sat at the beach area took a few pictures and left.

Nothing like City Beach on a hot summer day! I shared it with my kids when they were growing up, now, I am sharing it with my grandkids. Love Cheboygan!

Easy walk along lake huron on a paved trail with benches for viewing. Crib light is adjacent to park. You can fish off the pier. Beautiful in any season.

Well this one was a normal stop, yes we enjoyed the are, the fresh air and the sea gulls. But if you don't stop, you don't miss anything. Your choice.

Michigan Lighthouse tour in October. It’s short walk. The town is very pleasant.

Short walk to the lighthouse on a well groomed trail. Cement benches in the shade. The beach is nice to walk along as well. About a quarter mile of beach to walk. Great swimming, sandy bottom, water was still nice in early September. Has bathroom facility as well as playground and lots of shady spots to grab a picnic table and have some lunch!

Cute little lighthouse that’s just a short sandy walk along the lake to view it up close. Really pretty and wasn’t too busy while we were there!

Didn't go inside the light, but it was a lovely park with a safe walk area out into the lake. If you go in late May/early June you'll want to watch out for the swarms of black flies here, but otherwise a charming location.

It is on the mouth of the Cheboygan River and is a great place to watch the sun rising or to go swimming at the Cheboygan city beach. It's also next to Gordon Turner Park where there's a playground and picnic area for everyone.

Cool place to see. I was here in February so it’s a different kind of site seeing in the winter.
