This is a nice family style a little run down joint that serves excellent Mexican food. Do not be fooled by the appearance of the place cause the food is delicious. Everything I tried was phenomenal. Their prices are very affordable and have an ok choice of dishes. So if you are looking for a variety and lot of different food options this may not be the place you are looking for. However they are very friendly and attentive so A plus for service and taste.

A friend recommended that I check out this restaurant. And I must say, the experience was truly delightful. We started off with the birria tacos, and they were a revelation to say the least. The tender, flavorful meat inside the crispy tortillas was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. You can't call it birria tacos without the consummate. It was the perfect amount of spiciness. Added the right amount of kick and balanced the entire dish to perfection. The service was equally impressive, from attentive staff members to the beautiful decor. The cozy ambiance and pleasant music added to the wonderful experience. If you are craving Mexican food, this is the perfect spot.

A hidden gem for home style Mexican restaurant. Service was good and incredible fast. We had gone for dine in lunch. Serving size was large. Shrimp tacos was good. Birria con consomme was outstanding. (They had beef not the traditional goat) Will go back again.

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Buffalo. Chori Pollo is my go-to item on the menu and it never disappoints. If you want a drink with a little kick to it, try the cucumber jalapeño Margherita... best one I've ever had!

Great food! The food all came out nice and fresh, everything was super good. Flavorful and portions were huge. Price was fair for the quality and quantity. Definitely worth the wait. We waited around 35 minutes for a table for 3 on a Saturday evening.

Never ever have we been disappointed here! Fast and friendly service combined with DELICIOUS food. Had dessert here for first time and it’s the best! Flan, churros and fried ice cream—yum yum yum 😋

My all-time favorite Mexican restaurant in Buffalo. They have the best chilaquiles and great lunch menus. The staff is super friendly as well. It is a must visit at least a few times each time I come to Buffalo.

Could not be better. Food is incredible and the staff is attentive and kind. As with any great place, it can be busy, but if you go at the right time, that won't be an issue. La Pinã fajitas are pictured and are so good. Home made taco shells are delightful. Authentic and family feel.

We came here for dinner as we heard this place was good for Mexican cuisine. It was so much better than good! The menu is huge! There will be something for everyone to enjoy, including kids . The service is fast, friendly and efficient. The portions are big - great for sharing or leftovers. We had the carnitas and the mojado. They were both delicious. The place gets busy quickly, so be prepared to wait for a bit of you are there during peak dinner time. We look forward to coming back!

Never disappoints! SUPERB food and service in a great atmosphere. So glad they’re here ❤️ We are repeat customers, and parking has never been a problem. We’ve never had faster service anywhere else, ever—I don’t know how they do it. This is our happy place—the ambiance can’t be beat, either.

Was very busy , yet only waited about 6 min for a table. Waiter was very nice. Service was extremely fast. We tried 5 tacos (barbacoa, shrimp, chicken , carne & eggs w/ chorizo. Also had Los cuates. My favorite taco was the shrimp but next time I’d prefer it without the sauce. Everything was good , the only criticism I’d have (although of course I still give a 5*) is that food was over seasoned. I love salt but the flavors were naturally salty. The rice & refried beans were both the best I’ve had. If we’re in the area again , we’ll be back.

Small yet charming Mexican restaurant. Good food and big sized margaritas with interesting flavors. I had the banana margarita which didn't have an overpowering and it was good. Definitely eyeing the Spicy Mango for next time when my stomach is top notch for spicy. Overall A+ you have to go at least once.

The food here was better than good, the server was a bit off, did make some really good recommendations though. Cool vibe, all around good place to eat. Try the grilled cactus, surprisingly good.

This is a bright, cheery spot to forget about anything bothering you. The restaurant is brightly decorated, the staff are very welcoming, and the food...is just soo good. Everyone's prices are going up and it feels like you're always getting less for more money. Not here. The portions are just too damn big. But I'm ok with that. I get to enjoy the deliciousness again tomorrow...or maybe later tonight. 😁

This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. However, once inside, the place comes alive. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is typical of a local Mexican restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly, and piping hot. I ordered the fajita nachos and rice and refried beans. The nachos were definitely not from a bag. They tasted freshly made. I will definitely visit again before I leave the area. My dinner companion ordered chicken with shrimp and rice and beans( not exciting).

The service was great. It took a bit longer for our food than I expected but it was totally reasonable. They served chips with salsa while we waited - the salsa had a bit of a kick. The food was incredible. I had a quesadilla by itself and it was huge. The side of sour cream they gave was also an amazing size. Tacos were wonderful - Al pastore and carnitas were our fav. They are served with just meat and have a self-serve topping bar. Restaurant felt clean and well decorated. Atmosphere was nice.

First time here. I loved the food and atmosphere. I will be back again. My regret for not getting more food picks like I normally do. The fried ice cream is really good. Parking was ok. Clean. Everyone was friendly. The servers all helped each other. Team work is dream work.

There are much better Mexican restaurants around, for sure. We had a family of 5 for dinner, and it took 30 minutes to get our food. The place was very busy. The food came out cold and running together. The fajita components tasted good, but the corn tortillas could have been better. They were dry and fell apart when you tried to use them. Our cheese quesadilla was greasy and unedible. It was apparent that our food sat in the window. Some staff were busy serving customers while others were walking around. This restaurant could be run more efficiently.

Best Mexican I've had since I lived in California. A bit saltier than I'd like but so good. Staff was extremely friendly.

I was on a cross country move from Boston to California and was looking for a tasty dinner near my hotel. So happy to find Los Mayas! Finding decent Mexican food outside of California has always been a challenge and I am glad I listened to the reviews. Friendly staff, tasty chicken fajitas, and a festive atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The food was good, but was more expensive than similar Mexican restaurants. One bonus was we showed up on a half priced Margarita day. The men's bathroom was a disaster. The floors were covered in urine and the toilet wouldn't flush.

Can’t say enough. Feels and tastes homemade authentic. I had tacos el pastor and a chicken tamale. Yummy! Service was kind and fast even with a full restaurant on a Tuesday at 5 pm. The full parking lot gave me a hint I was at a local favorite. If you are staying near the airport, do yourself a favor and come here.

Food was great, large portions, bold flavors and really good quality meats. I got the chili Verde with the carnitas and it was fantastic. Easily two dinner portions for me. House margarita was tasty and large. Service was fast and friendly. If you go on the weekend it will be busy and loud but very worth checking out

They give out complimentary basket of chips once you sit down. My friend and I had margaritas and it's great! They have different flavors of margarita you can choose from. Staff are nice as well

A Buffalo area favorite. There are a ton of choices on the menu so it can be overwhelming to choose if you don't know what you'd like to eat. Welcoming staff and servers, great food.
