The atmosphere is quintessential Americana. The burnt ends were perfectly on point. The sauce selection is as well rounded as the menu selections. If service is at the top of your list, you will not be disappointed! The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. This is a must try for locals and passers-by!

I really loved the food here. My wife and children did not. So this is the combo score here. The choose three plate was great as it allowed you to try all of the options and get a pretty good deal. This kids meals are legit - they will not go hungry. The waffles felt deep fried - so I’m not sure I would recommend the chicken and waffles - my kids didn’t even finish the waffle!! The service was good. The atmosphere was nice and clean.

Fantastic food, great server... the hogi melt was delicious!!!! The potato chip and dip fabulous appetizer. There wasn't anything bad about anything in this restaurant. The Cadillac Margarita was out of this world . The atmosphere to eat was very inviting.

We went to Chelsea and noticed the rating of this bbq place was high so we ended up trying. Kinda disappointed as it's not that great as what we expected it to be. Brisket was so dry, sides was so so, nachos looks good but taste ordinary and pricey too, honestly Mission BBQ taste way better. Might be our first and last.

First time visitors to the smoke house! Location was easily accessible and located Downtown Chelsea. we were greeted as soon as we walked in the building and immediately sat to a table. Service was excellent and you felt the hospitality:) food was sizeable portions definitely worthy of social media cameos. Overall smokehouse 52 is recommended for their menu which hosts a variety of different food items, rustic vibe, and price! You won’t be disappointed! I should warn you that Nashville hot will have you asking for glass of milk :-p good ode to the Tennessee classic Suggestion: have more condiments at the table franks hot sauce, ketchup as most people do like extra sauces

Great place. Portions are very generous, and the food was outstanding. We had a group of 6 in for dinner. Our server was quick and attentive. All of us loved our meals, drinks were on point. I got the chicken and waffles with mac and cheese, and it was delicious. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was also very good. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere were the best. We will be going back again and again. A must try, you will love it too.

We sat on the patio me and my wife very nice and quiet also the food is amazing I mean I haven't had BBQ this good in 20 years... You have 5 BBQ to choose from rootbeer smokehouse gold all American kiss and viniger and hot Wich are all phenomenal with the brisket ribs and pulled pork and chicken... If you want amazing BBQ come to this place they are awesome... Also it's very budget friendly.

Stopped in on our way through Chelsea. The place is cute and our waitress was so nice! Sadly, the food did not meet our expectations. You would think that for $20-25+ a plate that it would be at least Mission BBQ level, if not better. They were out of pulled chicken, and the brisket was dry. Mac and cheese was just okay. Their "signature sides" are all $2 extra with a meal even though they are just your usual BBQ sides like mashed potatoes. I understand the rising food costs, but if you're going to charge that much at least cook it to perfection. Will have to try out a different place next time we are in Chelsea.

Ate here tonight. I have to say that the food here tastes amazing but ... I ordered the Sheppard's pie. For over 15 dollars. I received a Sheppard's pie in a casserole dish that was about 2 inches deep and about a 6 or 7 inches wide. It had a half an inch or less of brisket, corn, and green beans with zero gravy (gravy advertised in the menu). Most of the dish was mashed potatoes with a thin layer of cheese on top. For 5 ish dollars more I could have received a dish with 3 times more meat. Another person in my party ordered a three meat dish. It arrived with meat but only 2 of the three portions he ordered. That being said the food was great, but the proportions need to be improved to justify the cost of some of the things on the menu.

1st time here and was not disappointed at all everything from the service to the food and everything in-between was great had the Hot Nashville Chicken dinner it was off the chart, I will be back

Ordered the pulled pork, on Texas toast with Mac n cheese on the side. Bar offers. All kinds of whiskey sandwiches can be accompanied by vinegar, root beer, heart smokehouse in all American barbecue sauce. Mac n cheese is to die for super creamy and crisp on top ……enjoy
