The food was very very tasty. Everything was served correctly, hot, fresh, and fast. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pop cost at $3.39. for a glass that’s kind of pricey for Pop. That is pretty much the ongoing right everywhere though much cheaper to get water and then add a side.

Jared provide us with a great breakfast. Everything was fresh hot and tasty and just the way we ordered. The restaurant was clean even though they were very busy.

Came through the drive thru (that had multiple signs asking for tips???) hoping to avoid fast food ... Opened the first box and it's was melted to the other. The flaming hot chicken strips had burned through the boxes and melted together with two cold ranch dressings smashed inside. I managed to get halfway through a club sandwich and nearly choked on a piece of plastic cheese wrapper 🖒Next time we'll save the 40 bucks

Wide variety of items for a Coney Island. They were pretty busy so service was a little slow. Had the West Coast Benedict and Very Berry French Toast. Both were good. I would say above average menu for a Coney Island.

Excellent breakfasts but don’t sleep on their lunch options. Serious comfort food done well with healthier options available. Hashstack and short stack with blueberries and pecans is our usual order right now. Service is great. Theresa is our favorite. Owner is happy to see you and helps the staff and seats ppl. Jared at checkout is super happy and funny. Always a pleasure to visit.

I took my wife to see her podiatrist this morning. She said that she would treat us to breakfast after her appointment. I told her that we'd have to ask her podiatrist first. With a puzzled look, she asked, "Why would that matter?" I wanted to ensure she was cleared to *foot* the bill! The doctor told us about Uptown Coney Island, and we're grateful for that! I had breakfast special #4, two eggs over medium, sausage links, hash browns, and toast. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the whites fully set, and the yolk was warm and runny. She had the Lumberjack Combo breakfast. The cinnamon swirl French toast is fantastic! It was made with bread made by Vlore Bakery. She asked if they sold bread here. They did, so we took two home! There were barely 5 minutes between placing our order and receiving our meals. I asked the waitress if she knew what we would order so they could start cooking it before we arrived! Super fast, super delicious, super friendly staff!

Wife and I recently visited Up-Town Coney Island and had a good overall experience. The diner has a cozy atmosphere, and it was very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We both ordered omelets, and they were delicious! I had the feta and sausage omelet, which was cooked to perfection. The hash browns were a standout with their extra crispiness. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Farmer's Omelet as well. The only downside was the price. Our meal for two omelets came out to $30 after the tip, and that was without any drinks. It's a bit on the pricier side. Overall, a great spot for a tasty breakfast, but be prepared for the cost.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast and the sign said wait to be seated. Instead of the hostess approaching us to be seated she asked from about 20 feet away "how many", I raised 2 fingers as I didn't think the customers would appreciate me having to talk loud enough for her to hear me from where we were standing. She motioned us to come to her and when we reached her, instead of walking us to a table, she pointed to one and said you can sit there. As she did with other customers. Our waitress took our order, food arrived pretty quickly and she asked how the food looked. Looked good. She walked past our table several times tending to other customers, coffee pot in hand but never stopped at our table to ask how the food was or if she could get us anything else. My husbands empty cup had been sitting at the end of the table for quite a while. It wasn't until we had finished eating and were waiting for the bill that she asked my husband if he wanted more coffee. And still did not ask how the food was.

My family and I found this gem back in late September (2023) and literally commute 40 minutes one way just to come here. This is by far the greatest Coney Island we have ever been to in Michigan. Our first time coming here, we arrived early in the morning for breakfast and this place was packed. We had no issues getting a table and the hostess was extremely polite, upbeat, and a real sweetheart. Not only were the prices reasonable, but the food was so delicious that my family and I returned later in the evening to enjoy dinner at this cozy diner. It doesn’t matter what you order because it is all made with love and the highest of quality ingredients. I will admit I am not a huge fan of French toast, but their cinnamon fresh toast is to die for! Each time we stop to dine-in, we always have a wonderful experience. Every waitress we have encountered so far has been attentive, kind, caring, and is willing to go the distance to make sure you leave happy & full. I was quite impressed to see the managers here interact with the customers and actually help out their employees with bussing tables, restocking, takeout orders, cashing out patrons, and so much more. Between the cuisine, customer service, and sense of community it keeps our family coming back every couple of weeks. If you are a fan of rice pudding like my fiancé and I, I highly encourage you to order it. They make it from scratch daily and if you come in the evening, they will be sold out.

Ordered a breakfast burrito this morning to go. I took one bite and realized something wasn’t right…The lady at the restaurant said it was ordered as a plain egg burrito nothing in or on it. So I’m not sure what’s inside the eggs but it doesn’t taste or look good at all. Ruined my appetite! We won’t be coming back here for food!
