Unfortunately, the Accord is one of the worst 5-star hotels we have stayed at in terms of rooms and service. The experience from using their website to leaving is at most a 3-star experience. The location is the best thing about this hotel. We booked a room for 2 nights and the booking stated that check in was at 12pm. However, once we arrived there we were informed that check in was not till 2pm. Nothing was done to help the situation despite it being their mistake. A few points: - They are renovating rooms so make sure they do not give you a room next to one they are renovating because it will be extremely noisy. - They charge for lost key cards which I have never experienced in a 5-star hotel. - They only have a single driver for airport pickups and drop offs which is shocking for a hotel of this size. - When trying to book a 24-hour check in, they complicated the process and tried to charge us more than the cost of just booking a stay for the previous night. - Some of the staff can be very rude and would not honour late check out requests. - Their website is incredibly difficult to use and breaks often. When you call the team, they simply deny it and state it is working. - Some of the refurbished rooms have bathrooms where the water stagnates. I'd recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency which is 10 minutes down the road. The location is not as good as the Accord but it is an actual 5-star experience.

Has cool convention spaces for gatherings. Loved the food. However some dishes like ice creams were served in plates. Which wasn't expected of a luxury hotel. Wish they paid attention to the little details like the cleanliness of the cutleries and their appropriateness. Though car parking was fine, two wheelers seem to be clumsy and on the pavement. Which is both a public nuisance and a safety concern. It doesn't look good either for the majestic hotel to stand behind that. Hope they consider removing it.

We checked into the Hotel in the mid April intended to stay for 20 days . But we got to checkout less than a week because of horrible experience. The front desk staff at the Accord hotel, were unpleasant from the point of checking-in, during our stay at the hotel in April this year.The biggest problem came what they said was renovation, but it was construction level noise. A noise so loud that the entire floor was vibrating. The noise began around 9 in the morning and went on non-stop till about 6 in the evening, relentlessly without a moment’s break. The noise was so unbearable that we had to leave the leave the room just for some peace quiet. When the front office staff were told about it, the response was flippant, something along the lines of these things happen everywhere so better-get-used-to-it attitude. To pay so much money to get treated in this way is not becoming of a five-star hotel. In the one week we stayed there, the shower got clogged, there were television issues along the unbearable, constant noise so loud that the entire floor was vibrating and I had go down three levels just to find some peace and quiet. Then of course there was the dis-courteousness of the front office staff who wouldn’t be hired in a one-star hotel. To call it a five-star hotel is an insult to the other hotels who keep up with the high standards that is required to earn that credit. The only five-star aspect of the hotel were the service staff, who knew and understood the meaning of the word professionalism. This hotel is surely not for international travelers.

Well located near T nagar shopping area. Food was good but same menu is repeated every day. 90% of the hotel guests are politicians or lions club members, so very noisy even late night. These guests never wear face masks in this pandemic and freely roam around lobby and dining area.🙃

The hotel was going through renovation in phases. I was given to an old room which was joint extended to another room. I could hear TV noise and people talking on the other side of the room. I asked the front desk to move me to an upgraded (renovated room). I was very disappointed with the room amenities on the first day of my stay. However, the staffs are friendly and courteous. Mr. Dinesh, the Guest Facilitation Manager was very attentive and took care of my concern. He moved me to a renovated room on the second day of my stay. The renovated room was much better and had latest amenities such as a cell phone charging plug, rain shower and light settings. The complimentary breakfast selections were reasonably good and could be better. The hotel lobby was always very, very busy because of functions at the hotel during my stay. There was no privacy at all as the lobby was always crowded with people every day during my three days stay. Car parking space was very limited and bad due to the crowd in the hotel. Indeed, it was a three stars hotel with old amenities room.

We decided to celebrate our son's 1st birthday at the accord metropolitan hotel, T Nagar, chennai. They promised to hand over the party hall at 3.00 Pm Sunday evening, they failed and handed over the hall to us at 5.00 pm due to this we were unable to finish the back drops and stage decorations on time. They force us to go with a decor called " tale of two " which is really not worth it and the event team has a very bad attitude. Excellent food and very clean and neat place, rooms are very clean and hygiene. All the staffs at the hotel are polite and professional. Being honest if you ask me how I feel now, I would have rather spent my money with people who have good character and respect towards other fellow people. If you are going to go with accord metropolitan for food, location, parking, friendly, hygiene, clean and safety place to book a party hall or rooms, I will definitely say a happy "Yes". If you are going to go with accord metropolitan for " Tale of Two " I will definitely say a big "No". God bless !!!

Pretty dingy rooms, suitable for a 2 star. Bath tub was dirty.. AC felt suffocating with minimal temperature controls. The hotel and the group itself seem outdated. Only good thing is the staff are attentive to your requests. They are trying to do best with what they management has handed over to them. If the hotel had advertised itself as a 3-star, i would have been ok. But for the star rating and price, no.

Just a great hotel with good service. What I liked the most is about the complimentary breakfast where there is a variety of food you can tryout rather than the normal Indian breakfast which we get in some hotel. This hotel is very comfortable and safe place to stay. If you want a chauffeur they will arrange it for you. I would also like to mention the interior of the ther hotel which beautiful.

Quality of the room service good but hotel needs upgrade. No coffee machines in the room. Washroom has mold.. not maintained. Heard breakfast supposed to be good , but to me it was ok..same menu... may be standard dropped due to covid.

Had a little bad experience today at the end of the lunch, the service given by the restaurant stewards were very pleasent. But the spread was not that great, taste was so bland doesn't give any astonishing taste. Finally while leaving the hotel we were looking for baby sitting room to change the pamper for my son. Unfortunately the manager said to use the toilet i seriously don't understand how we can use the toilet to change the diaper for a toddler. .. A 5 star category hotel doesn't have a diaper changing facility was little shocking... So I just felt not worth it.

The buffet menu was awesome, with a wide spread of dishes from chat to Indian, continental and Asian cuisine. Authentic and tasty food. We were spoilt for choices. The welcome drink and fresh fruit juices were very good. I will give **** for the food and * for the courteous service and ambience. Total 5*. Truly, value for money. Other hotels charge less and all their menu is almost same with less dishes. If you want to have a very good meal ,you will really get it in this hotel.

We went for Vegetarian buffet. Atmosphere was so good. I can see some rude during service, when I tried to take starters from the table. They said starters will be served to your table. I typed very politely here but when I heard that was absolutely rude. They're only concentrated and respected who booked the table to check what's next, we were there but no importance given. Just checked in a few minutes ago but already absolutely impressed. From the pick up from the airport by their EXCELLENT chauffeur to the welcome received at reception - 5 stars all the way! Couldn't get over being served fresh fruit & refreshing cold bottled water as well as being handed fresh towels immediately after pick up from our chauffeur. Now that's 5 star service 👌 Will be posting again during my week's stay, but I'm already blown away!!!

This hotel is situated just 12kms from the airport and in high proximity to the US consulate at just 3.5kms. The staff here is very hard working. cleanliness and amenities were excellent. Restaurant present here was fabulous. It also provided special check in facility which was amazing. At present the hotel is at renovation this might be best hotel after the renovation at nearby locality

The front desk staff including the manager are rude. I expect them to be polite in whatever they say. Here are my horrible episodes with them 1. They are lying a lot. When requested for an extra access card, they said they won’t. But I indeed got an extra access card for another room the day before. I felt it is a discrimination to give an extra access card to one room but not to another room. 2. I was told my two rooms are close to each other when I checked in. But it was 4 to 5 rooms away. 3. I was forced to pay the whole payment at the time of check-in. I feel they should get an advance and not the whole amount. 4. To cut the fruits, they asked me to pay. The only good thing I see here is the breakfast. The breakfast is nice.

I stayed for 8 nights and from a foreigner experience I must say that the hotel did not give a five star feel.The front desk staff were not warm and their customer interaction was very transactional. I got the unpleasant experience where the duty manager refused to exchange my dollar currency note to rupees on the grounds that the currency note was printed in 2013!I was very embarrassed by this situation as it was my first day in India and I did not have any local currency in hand.Thanks to the support staff who helped me in finding a money exchanger.The hotel is also quite noisy with ongoing functions. Otherwise the staffs in the restaurant were very nice and the in room dining service is very fast!

Yummy bisibela bath in the restaurant in the Level L . The chef was awesome and service was great! Economical too if u choose alakart menu wisely. One portion bisibela bath is sufficient for 2, served with potato chips and we had the mushroom capuchino soup 1/2. A nice simple sumptuous dinner for two for Rs. 750! Much cheaper than other places, good quality, great ambience...what else you need??

When we reached this hotel there was grand welcome by hotel staff. Especially I will mention receptionist Somani, her behavior was very good. Rooms were very beautiful and they used to respond call very quickly. Hotel is located near to US consulate. When they ask feedback from my daughter, she told your hotel bath tub is very beautiful. Hotel breakfast was very tasty and awesome😊. They used to provide cab service in very reasonable rate. Overall it was awesome experience with this hotel.

I visited this hotel twice for weddings. The food taste is not extraordinary, but just like other star rated hotels is mediocre. There weren't many dishes. Their dining room in the basement is too small and was too crowded. The hall is pretty decent. The hotel entrance is very grand.

Do not expect a 5 star experience here. The rooms are extremely basic and the entire 6th floor smelled like a dusty cellar and other floors smell of paint and chemicals. One of the rooms I was checked into had broken plug points where the whole socket comes off the wall and there was no accessible plug points to charge your phone next to the bed side table. What a joke! Their bathtubs looks so old and run down. The only decent rooms are the renovated ones but they only have few of them. Breakfast was decent but filter coffee was terrible. The only good thing about this place is the location. Staff was helpful to find the right room we wanted. Not worth the money otherwise. Will not be staying again.

My cousin had her engagement in the banquet hall, the arrangements and the food was good and the staff were courteous ,but today there was alot of rain and water stagnated and was knee deep,we were not able to get to the hotel on time ,we had parked our cars at ags cinemas nearby,and had to wade through the water,it was difficult with kids and old people, Chennai flooding is not new to Chennai, And everyone is aware that T Nagar is low lying area so a request is to buy atleast 2 lifeboats ,and train staff to row the boats , on case of emergency ,to pick up stranded guesta atleast from nearby areas, the bride itself was so delayed and stranded near ags ..a mechanic nearby came and helped with driving the bride to the hall...being a star hotel kindly look into this matter...either a helipad/lifeboat facility will be appreciated

Just an excellent overall experience. The staff there are very nice and polite. They follow all the covid protocols. The rooms are amazing. The services is excellent and quick. The buffet is good and they have a valet service as well. I Would highly recommend the place for a stay when ur in Chennai.

A stand alone business hotel at T Nagar Chennai with very high standards of safety and health precautions and the only hotel where I find a shoe cleaner. The gate staffs are very cordial and the rooms are well maintained and clean. Food is good and the array of toiletries are exceptional. A good choice to stay with

Bar is good. Food is good. Service is decent. But the music they play is random and does not mix well with the ambience. The rooftop bar called OPM is a better place to be at when in this hotel.

Went to attend my friend's marriage reception in their Crystal hall, which was good and convenient space. Calm and really attractive environment. All star hotels provides the same subtle food menu. I like the food taste and quality but they have to update the menu to attract the people. Air-conditioning wa equal and mild, seating were also nice. Restrooms were wel maintained. Nice to visit.

I stayed here for two nights, Currently Renovation works are going on so you may hear lot of drilling and other sounds which was quite irritating. I took a nice deluxe queen room equipped with good facilities. Breakfast has variety of spreads🍞🍳🥖, Good Valet parking 🅿️ Room service is slow needs to be improved! However the amenities sauna, stream was not available also it doesn't gave me a feel of 5 star 🤷

Very courteous staff, all of them very helpful to make your stay enjoyable. I enjoyed South Indian buffet breakfast. The staff in restaurant are very quick to respond. Location of the hotel was best for me to reachable. I stayed in July. Gym was very useful. I went on everyday. Towel service and drinking water was available. Bottle service and venting coffee machine may be a good suggestion. I believe water was soft water, shower was refreshing.

Located very main in city very easy to identify. Went for marriage function, infrastructure very good. Hospitality is very good. Less variety of foods and taste was normal. Very clean and hygiene. More number of hall are available which suits to conduct functions and events. SPA is available to get relax and massage. Rooms are very neat and little bit costly.

Nicely located. But the rings starts to show its age. They have to do more to make the hotel up to the standards. To cope up with other new properties, the management have to improve on quality. Food ( breakfast ) was okish. A nice place to stay for a short peon m period at the heart of the city. But needs improvements.

5 star to service and food. Room was neat and clean. Staff is very generous and polite. Breakfast buffet was good with losts of choice and option. Food tastes amazing. As the construction is old, you might not like bathroom interiors.

The service staff was very polite and courteous. The variety of food was very good, though the presentation was lacking. No ventilation in the elevators. The biggest problem which caused all of us to fall sick wirh cold, cough and congestion, was the poor and ineffective ventilation circulating air with cigarette smoke in ALL our rooms. Having two complete "smoking floors" with centralized air conditioning makes no sense. Plumbing problems persisted throughout our stay in all our rooms even though they came and "fixed" them. Sinks were not draining properly, and flush was also not working in one of the rooms. Overall a very disappointing stay and we would not want to come again.

went for a weekend lunch buffet. That was a below average food. Varieties were limited and taste was very bad. Total disappointment. Ambience was also poor and presentation and service were totally lagging. Please don’t try accord especially non veg lovers. Ordinary restaurants are far better than this. Waste of money and time.

Checked in at 4 pm which was hassle free. Was allotted room on 9th floor. We kept our luggage and then went out. We came back and the room was filled with cigarette smell. Called reception and they inform the room is in a smoking floor and hence the room will get smell if anyone smokes in the floor. They did not mention that while alloying the floor. Upon request they changed the rooms at 10.20 pm at night. ( which was requested almost an hour ago) . The reception needs to improve and allot the right rooms. Don’t see any point in allotting non smokers rooms in smoking zone.

I have stayed here on previous occasions. The rooms need an urgent update . The bathroom is very old and needs to be done . The restaurant serves excellent breakfast . The hallmark of this place is the food served in the meeting room. The spread is good and they are able to serve both south and north indian dishes equally well. The meeting room section some times makes you share the premises with wedding functions which can be. Nuisance . The staff is very helpful and is always available. With some renovations this place can be real value for money

The accord metropolitan is one of the best five star hotels in the city. It has a great location that is perfect for sightseeing, recreation, dining, shopping, and getting around. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The housekeeping and room service is excellent. It would be better if the bathroom is maintained better. Good food is available in the restaurant. Complementary breakfast. Nice place to stay.

Reception Hall is of medium Sized. Very good Ambience. Veg Food Dishes were Superb! Overall liked it very much.

Great place, good food. Wish they had better parking so that they won't park the cars on the over-bridge outside the hotel. The amenities are perfect. Was there for an wedding related event. Ambience was top notch.

For a cycle meeting we were stayed for about 3 days and the whole experience was fabulous. The rooms infrastructure and the room service everything was awesome. If talk about food it's good at its class with the buffet for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Total experience was great here. I'll recommend all to stay in this hotel if ever visit chennai.

Both days, coffee shop messed up my breakfast. Kitchen staff not able to handle a simple plain egg white omelet order! Couldn't get it both days. Can't believe that a celebrity chef runs the place. Rooms n Bell desk very good.
