    Was given a run down and a down right dirty room. The room looked liked it hadn't been used in years. Bathroom fixtures were rusted. AC smells. Sheets were dirty. All kinds of spots on them. We landed late in the night. The hotel was overbooked and one of us was asked to share the rooms. Unbelievable. Didn't even have the courtesy to inform prior. One of us had to find another hotel ourselves. Pathetic service. Their buffet breakfast is an utter disappointment. Idlis were hard. Pongal was too dry and bland. Spread had hardly anything else. If this is the kind of 4 star service I get for the money they charge, I would rather opt going to 5 star hotels next door.

    Stayed for a night.. Room was large and ok Bathroom .. shower area s too small and the water jet was too fast.. hand faucet too. Painful exercise... Their breakfast buffet has done down in quality and variety. I ve stayed in delhi and indore lemon tree where the buffet breakfast was good...here in chennai they seem to be on a cost cutting exercise. Not worth a review. Hope they work on it to live up to their standard.

    Rooms are tiny. Bath rooms are too congested. No proper house keeping. They soo conjus to the extent that don't keep garbage cover to dustbins. No bathroom freshner and stinks. Toiletries are not upto the mark. Bed linens are also not soo fresh. Over all not fit to be called as Lemon Tree Hotel. Staff are no so friendly. Only little comfort is food.

    Poorly managed place Went there for a training program and was disappointed with banquet hall set up, AV arrangements, food quality and service. Soups are supposed to be before main course but set up is done between veg and non veg sections. Desserts are kept near Salads. Zero competence to operate such highly valued brand. Dhabas are run more professionally than what I experienced here.

    I would give one more extra star too, I must appreciate their policy on providing employment for physically challenged people…. Which is extraordinary…. The stay was goodrooms were small but it was maintained well… The food was good.. they made special effort to provide less spicy food for my kids…. Morning buffet was okay…. Swimming pool needs proper maintenance….

    People were really nice and helpful. The receptionist was very proactive and helped me whenever I asked them for something. Really didn't like the room. They were small, and smelled mouldy. Even though they said non smoking room , other guests were still smoking in their respective rooms and the entire floor smelled of cigarettes. Won't recommend them specially considering the fact that there's not much price difference between them and park Hyatt that's just across the road. P.S. Room 611 is the worst so even if you're considering staying here, don't stay in 611.

    Stayed for a day for bussiness visit. Location of the hotel is best as it's convenient to other areas Rooms are clean and food was not so great However there was a long wait time for checkin which was not expected. Overall it was a good one

    Most misleading. The pics shown is completely contradictory with the real room. The rooms are clumsy , stinking, wall moulds and harsh with customer. I wouldn't suggest people

    Astonishing! This is one the best hotels. They have a wide variety of the best buffet breakfast for every person. They include every cuisine in the buffet and it was superb in taste. It excludes other hotels in terms of its services offered that is non comparable to any other hotel at that place. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. I just love the hospitality.

    I went to the Lemon Tree hotel which is located in Chennai for dinner with my friends. Symphony restaurant has a beautiful ambience and smiling face staffs. Food was out of the world, vast buffet with reasonable price. We all had a good time and Sure will recommend for my friends and relatives.

    Happened to have food in their Restaurant. Food quality and quantity were not up to the mark, not up to the standards. Prices were so heavy, disproportionate to what they really served. Extra charges/Taxes to the tune of 40% were also collected. Service was also THE WORST. When approached people in the Reception Counter to express our disappointment & experience, their behavior too just multiplied our unhappiness manifolds. There was none who came forward to take responsibility and to heed our feelings, comments, feedback, hardsip and unpleasant experience. SIMPLY THE WHOLE TEAM SIMPLY SPOILT our Time and Money. It is TRUE for SURE that Caring the Customers and Having some Ethics in their duties were none of their Business and none of their Interest. Felt very sorry for having visited this place and for having interacted with these people.

    Incredible property, incredible rooms, beyond incredible service! The spread for the dinner and breakfast buffet was vast and tasty even. We went at a time which was crowded and the staff were getting stretched to their limits but even through all this they did not let the quality of service waiver. They always had a smile and they were putting in the effort to keep us comfortable. The pool is large and our kids enjoyed it through our stay. The rooms have large bathrooms, equipped with bath tub and separate shower cabins. Very cosy!

    Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service. Despite having a pre-booked room with a check-in time of 2 pm, we arrived at 8 pm only to find that the room wasn't ready. We were made to wait for 1-2 hours. Additionally, although we had reserved a room with a king-size bed, we were given two separate small beds. Even after paying for extra bedding, we weren't provided with any blankets or quilts. Their explanation was that they were fully booked, but if they couldn't manage, they shouldn't have accepted our reservation. Who is accountable for our sleepless night?

    Hotel is ok. Little run down. Linen needs to be replaced. Team is good. Huge scope for improvement in citrus restaurant. It has very limited options. Only advantage is the location of the hotel.

    Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are compact and comfortable .In Room dining service options could have much better quality and varieties to choose. Breakfast at citrus restaurant was tasty and hygienic. Special thanks to restaurant staff Mrs .Lakshmi for good guest service.

    It was nice to stay here... Fully ventilated rooms but are little short rooms. Good staff specially Ananta from housekeeping given great and quick service all the time.. good to see giving employment to physically challenged staff... great 👍

    Not a great experience staying here. Rooms took too much time to get ready for check in. There was 1 hour waiting. Breakfast service was also not good. No one was there to attend our table. We had to ask atleast three times to get anything served. The rooms are decent but quite old. The wood has chipped at places which might cause injury if not wearing slippers in the room. Definitely requires considerable improvement.

    Friendly front desk, quick and helpful. Only reason for a 3 star. Else would be 1. Terrible restaurant. No concept of service. Most unhelpful staff, behave like they are doing a favour. Asked for toast - didn't get, asked for another cup of coffee, looked into the cup - is there a ration on coffee? Dinner in the room - food half cooked. Room - wash basin water doesn't drain. Not a place if you expect basics to be in place

    Location is central... Absolutely right Close to airport, not far from trade centre. Rooms are functional, scope to improve. The AC is loud, tardy. Even when off there is huge rumble of the AC. And takes hours to get cool. Breakfast is served in time and efficient. Enough variety and choices. The room service, housekeeping is at an issue. I pointed out the issues but could not talk to a housekeeping supervisor... The worker at the end of the chain is full of courtesy, but he is not making the decisions. The differently enabled workers are a great idea of the management. I would visit it again inspite of the housekeeping lacunae.

    Lakshmi and Chef Navin had been very kind with me. They had provided the required assistance and had definitely worked hard to keep me a happy chap!! The coffee and the food had been amusing and the way they keep asking for the feedback definitely showcase their dedication!!

    We are stayed in lemon tree guindy chennai our tay was very nice and the service of the lemon tree was really excellent the staffs were made our stay very comfortable And the food was very tasty which was made by Chef Naveen and the staffs in restaurant was very nice and polite staffs especially Lakshmi and Vinutha service was very good I will give 5 out of 5 for lemon tree

    The room was quite bad, the sheets were with stains. No hot water. Check out was hassle as the reception was manned by only one person who was taking check out randomly without following sequence.. common sense!! Membership points were not updated even after follow ups and confirmation.. overall not a good experience!!

    I stayed here for 2 days, stay was excellent, service was very good. Food was tasty and fresh. I enjoyed the Stay. Restaurant manager Lakshmi was handling the customers efficiently, Met the chef Naveen too. Fantastic team at Lemon tree.

    This place looks like a lodge . The room, interiors etc gives a very run down look n feel. Room service has limited options. Unless extremely finicky about staying close to airport avoid this hotel.

    The rooms were clean. The house keeping staff did a good job. But very unhappy with the cafe. They take hours to refill the buffet. They will be very courteous to come and ask you what you want. But they will vanish after that. Water, tissues, cutlery, nothing will be refilled. You gotta keep waiting forever! Food was average. For the cost we pay, it can definitely be much better. They took 1 hour to complete the check in. We were sitting in the lobby for a long wait.

    I checked in Tuesday evening. Starting off with trying to book over phone was bad, although the website said rooms available customer service could not book room via phone. There is no option to remove service change of 15% . If you ask to remove the service charge they will just add that amount to room bill saying its their policy. The room I stayed in 714 was very bad, the rest room had all stains, the toilet had brown stains, bedsheets were not properly washed they had brown stains. No mosquito repellent available nor they provide an iron box. When I called room service to avail my smile points towards any discount or food they could not figure out how (smile points is just a bogus). Since I was there only for a night it was ok.

    The rooms were very dirty. Not cleaned properly. There was no separate hand towel provided in the bathroom. The maintenance of the place was very very bad. There were seepage on walls in the main reception! Service was poor. One thing I asked from housekeeping took more than twenty minutes to come. The menu in the restaurant was very limited. The bar is dingy and very limited options. Overall a very bad experience, considering it was a Lemon Tree. I had had better Lemon Tree experiences before.

    Lemon tree hotel is on sardar patel road, diagonally opposite to Park Hyatt. It has a revolving door access. I had pre booked a business room with C.P. during the day i had made a point to call and remind to keep my room ready as I was checking in late around 930 pm. I got my room on the 6th floor that had lovely city view from the window, but the room looked completely different from the one shown in the listing and was a very compact room, and to my dismay the linen hadn't been changed which i brought to the notice of the front desk. The booking claimed complimentary room upgrade, when I asked for it, i was denied citing non availability, i was shown an alternate room that had dampness and its smell, i was very upset with the whole thing especially all this happening at the time I needed to relax, the duty manager at night however apologised and i was offered a much better room that was spacious and neat. The room had all the required amenities with lounger, coffee table and a chair, the window had view of the main road. I enquired about the gym/fitness center but got to know that it wasn't operational for the time being. The breakfast was at the restaurant on ground floor, the spread was limited with few choices, the taste was average. During the second day of my stay, the breakfast was much better even though with limited choices, I must mention the night front desk manager Shree, and restaurant staff Laxmi for their responsiveness and guest handling and saving my stay turn into a nightmare, also manager Balamurugan for reaching out to me though on the day of the check out. From my overall stay i would rate my experience 2.5 on a scale of 5

    It's a 4star hotel but not that much worth. Food ,service is really good , but what disappointed me is their cleanliness especially bed sheets and bathroom both were average... Even I found some stains in their pillow cover... Location wise it's nice morning breakfast buffet is average only... Recommended for business travelers .

    Pros : *At the center of Guindy so all the important places are near. *About 25 minutes to the airport. Cons : *They dint include drinking water in the stay package nor is there any water dispenser anywhere in sight so you'll have to buy your own drinking water. A three star hotel should know better that clean drinking water is a basic human right. *The rooms were not very clean and the elevator is quiet small and only two people can go at a time. *The staff at the reception needs to be pushed a bit for them to do anything you ask. Service needs to improve.

    Very pathetic experience. Service is not upto the mark. It is written as 4 star hotel but in reality it is star less hotel. Wash room and toilet is very small. Room standard is not at all as per 4 star category. Food quality not good.

    Very bad experience with the staff. Had requested an early check-in but they refused with an excuse that rooms are full. 5 or more people checked out in front of us and if that initiated they could have allowed. The put us wait 3.30 hours and not even had a humanitarian consideration. Worst hospitality ever faced.

    I would suggest this place for its location in Guindy. This allows you to go to all the important locations in Chennai through any mode of transport like metro, sub urban rail, bus and of course through rental cars. The service was really good and the place was well sanitized. The views from the top floors are really good. Extra info: you get to see flights passing above the hotel every 15mins

    Convenient location. AC control in the room did not function. The ironing board given was dirty. The iron, however, worked really well. The room service staff member, very polite and helpful, expressed his inability to give a bill because of some system issue. Got it at the time of check-out. Overall, room not worth the price. Perhaps, price is for the location.

    The stay and reception experience was subpar. Too much waiting with very minimal support from the reception staff. The breakfast at the Citrus cafe was delight because of the service by Lakshmi. She really makes her customers happy. The service and quality in terms of rooms have so much to improve, wouldn't rate it any star class at all.

    Hello there!! I just wanna express my experience here at Lemon tree Hotel, Chennai. It was extremely good. Like we thoroughly enjoyed it. We received very good service from Mrs. Laxmi at restaurant. All the facilities including food, swimming pool, bedroom etc was totally up to the mark. It made me believe that we want to stay in lemon tree every time we travel. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!!😬

    Lemon Tree Hotel is surprisingly very pleasant! The rooms are well equipped with necessary amenities. The washroom is very clean. Toiletries are provided. Breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. The room service menu is very limited and can be improved. Appreciate the hotel employing deaf and mute staff as well. The service is not hampered.

    Rooms are very nice. Bathroom can improve a bit especially bath area should have little more space. Location is perfect for my need and it's not very far from either airport or railway stations. However it's located on a very busy one way road and during peak time it's very crowded although the traffic is fast moving. Nice restaurant and courteous staff.

    A very good hotel! The rooms are very good, everything was clean, and nicely maintained. The staff were so courteous and considerate. Even packed food for us since we had an early morning flight at checkout at 5am. The restaurant and the breakfast buffet had good options, and reasonably priced. The plates could have been cleaner though. Other than that no complains! cleaner though. Other than that no complains!

    1. Rooms and the property in general : lacks maintenance 2. Food : less spread, lacks taste, slow service, too costly 3. Check in and check out : invariably you have to wait 4. Air conditioner : no effect, you need to keep the ceiling fan running 5. Water: good supply of hot water 24 hrs 6. In room tea tray lacks certain flavours you normally get anywhere 7. Tariff : I got it at 5000 plus tax.. Not worth it... Very highly priced for the tag.. Deserves 3500 at the most 8. Elevator facility is good
