Uff another beautiful vegetarian North Indian restaurant! The one thing that is annoying is the waiting time - had to wait over 40 minutes to get in! The biryani was really good and the dal makhani was beautiful! The naans were thin and flaky and so delightful. The paneer was excellent as well. Washed it all down with lassi and my day was made

A worthy experience on a Punjab cuisine. Menu was well designed, the creativity on the dining table made with spices, punjabi live music, and the ambiance are all excellent. We chose Punjabi thali, death by chocolate, Hakka noodles, Punjab panner masala, butter roti. Also, dont forget to try their green chutney with onion: it was heavenly. Everything was fresh and scrumptious. The cost was affordable, too. Must try in Chetpet👍

This restaurant is excellent. Starting from the ambience, staff service, food and all other aspects is top notch. The food service waiting time is very less. They have Jain food available and it's a pure vegetarian restaurant. A parking facility is available. Better if one books a table before coming here. Overall i had a great experience. Cheers!!!

A perfect family Sunday lunch time was sorted here! Ambience - the ambience gives a quirky, crazy vibe with colours, and quirky elements everywhere! Has a view to the road on one side and I say the seatings on that side is the best! Food - we loved the starters - Paneer tikka, dragon Paneer, honey chilli potato. But weren't a great fan of the PH special rice. Service - the server we hd was the cutest, served us with a smile and attended us with great hospitality.

Too costly. And didn't taste that great. Quantity is good. Must improve on the taste. It's thali is available only during afternoon. It's price is around 270. But alacat menu's any item main course average price is 250. Roti was not soft. Sitting is not comfortable. Their communication must improve. Was waiting for 10 mins for hot water. They didn't provide.

A quick stop for a very late lunch after a tiring day. Was not in our plan but when we passed the place, we thought we might give it a try. The team was prompt and made us comfortable, took our orders even though kitchen was about to close. No shortcuts, no makeshift preparations. The stuffed naan and mushroom curry combination was really nice. With a pineapple raitha added in. And daal kichdi to finish it off. Very well prepared, well presented. The restaurant is 3-4 years old yet gleams as a brand new place. Very clean and neat. The washroom does need a bit more frequent upkeep as guests may have been careless with used tissue papers disposal. The restaurant layout is warm with ample light from outside during day hours. A very cosy place.

For long, I was searching for good north Indian buffet and this restaurant gave me the answers. Good soup, grills and starters to start with and good main course filled my appetite. The taste was good There were limited dessert options and there could be 1 or 2 more. One should try this and enjoy good food

We were in the area for a saree shop and it was time for lunch. We chose it for its proximity to the shop. It was a good choice. They had valet parking. The decor was thematic and loud. We ordered a thali. The choice of items, the quantities and the taste were all right. The price was reasonable.

A great punjabi restaurant with chinese cuisine too in the Menu. The theme, ambience, menu all suits to dhaba vibe. Food was nothing short of awesome. We had Tiranga Paneer Tikka, Galouti Kebab, Mixed veg mankhanwala & Lassi shots. I loved all dishes & the Guava lassi. 🤤

Its a pure vegetarian restaurant. We had to wait for 30mins to grab our seats, but food tasted great. Not happy with the quantity of subzi provided for thali, didn't find it sufficient for the roti.

We went for lunch to The Patiala house. They could not offer a table for 7 and the place was really over crowded. After waiting for 25 minutes they sent us to the next floor stating that it is the same restaurant. As we reached the floor, we noticed it carried a different name " The Angara Grill house". The menu card was also different. Without much of an option we ordered ala carte and the dishes were good. Starters were good. Lassi and Gulab jamuns which apparently are their specialty, does not live up to the hype and was below average. The place was clean and the general decor was good. It is a Punjabi themed restaurant.

Everything about the place is perfect. The ambience is wow and the food is amazing. Quantity was perfect for the price. You will want to visit again and again. P.S: plan in advance, coz this place is always crazily crowded and difficult to get tables. Worth the hype..

This is an excellent restaurant. Visited for meet-up and dinner with friends. The ambience is really awesome and the menu is designed like a newspaper. Variety of food is mind-boggling. The staff are prompt, cordial and can help you make good decisions with the dishes. Food tastes fantastic, and portion size is also quite good. Pricing is comparatively a bit high, but worth the experience. We were a very satisfied group after dinner. Will definitely visit again when around this locality.

I have been to this place multiple times. As resent as today I had been there for lunch and wanted to get the left over food packed. When I got back home I see the food packed in recycled cover instead of a container. I would have accepted this if it was from a road side shop but not from a shop like “Patiala House”. Least they could have done is to ask for extra money for the container rather than packing it this way. To make it worse I spoke to a manager named Sharma and he did not even bother to understand the issue instead kept telling this is way they pack left over food. Point to note is the left over food was 90% of the dish.

Really good North Indian food. Dal makhani was the best. They have great jain options too! You cannot miss this place. On the main road, few blocks away from grand sweets.

We went for team lunch here..there is fixed menu items for veg buffet which would be served on table. Welcome drink ,Brocolli soup, Pani poori, paneer tikka and pineapple tikka were starters ..main dishes took a while to be served. Matar pulao, roti and naan along with kashmiri aloo, matka paneer, dal and mixed veg curry was served. For desert warm carrot halwa and vanilla ice-cream was served. Food was little bit on the spicy side. But otherwise it was a nice ambience and set up for taking pictures.

It's very spacious and comfortable. Food is delivered very quickly so order with that in mind. Do try masala papad, Pani Puri and kaju paneer. Very well made and tasted heavenly. Do ask for a finger bowl at the end for convenience.

We had dinner at this place. I am satisfied with the overall rating, Starting from infrastucture and then the respond from the staff and the food option. The place is quite crowded but they still have a good sitting arragement outside for the customers to wait. Some of the food item taste was not that great but still I could understand its always because of the weekend crowd that they have to make it fast. Apart from that I think its a good place to go atleast ones.

This place is packed during weekends and not without a reason. The food is really good, service quick and ambiance comfy. The chat options are low, but the SevPuri we tried was very good. The Sangiria Mocktail can me missed. We tried their Patiyala Veg, which was well balanced in taste. The cost for 2 was around 1200.

The food was great. Definitely a lot better than Delhi Durbar down the road. The only thing thing that needs to be done is a solid round of pest control, the next time they close the restaurant down. We saw a cockroach walk down the wooden beam while we were waiting for food to come 😅 I would recommend avoiding being seated where there are wooden beams that overlap the tables your are seated on. Grab a seat in the corner that has a cushion

Mouth watering food. Awesome naans, especially garlic Naan, with too many sides to choose from. Awesome fried rices, especially paneer fried rice. Pick a non holiday weekday or be prepared to wait to get a table.

Very nice ambiance and good food! But we have to wait for long to get a table. It is advisable to reserve the table before going.

We had went for veg buffet option which costs around 600 per person. Though ambiance was great but the food was not that great. Doesn't give you an authentic Punjabi food experience. Among starters panipuri, soya chap and panner Tikka were good. Not sure why they had to include Pasta, Noodles, Chilly Paneer in Punjabi Veg buffet and they tasted so bad. In Mains, they give Roti, Naan and 4 gravies. Briyani was so bland. Desert options were limited to Brownie, Ice cream, Gulab Jamun. Its definitely not worth the money.

Had lunch with my father at afternoon on a weekday, to be honest I thought there won’t be much of rush and it would be quiet lunch. But to my surprise there was crowd at that time too. Special shout to the waiters who had served us with a smile were always prompt with our requests. Coming to the dishes we had ordered fried masala kichiya, it was really nice and crisp. We had butter naan and rotis with spicy mushroom gravy and those were really yummy and the portions were quite ideal for two people. Punjabi masala beer was were yummy. One star less is that their washroom and handwash area was very small and that we had to wait for a while. It would be really tough when there is too much crowd as that time the line would be big which would not be nice. I request the management to think on the same and fix accordingly.

  • 5/5 Avinash A. 2 years ago on Google
It was a very well maintained place and the food was very good too. The waiting time is there even if you had booked it a day ago. I don't see the point of booking a table which management could take care of. Although, I can understand it's due to rush but something has to be done honestly. Not every time we will have that much time and patience.

Guys , giving this 1 star as it is the lowest here . Front desk in this hotel think they are giving food for free ! They can’t get much rude :) . Front desk said 20 mins for a table and we waited for 1 hr 40 mins and got the table finally ! Coming to the food part . Crazy !!!!!!!!!!!! So much oil in every food , no authentic taste at all ! The butter milk was nice and Lassi as well . If you don’t eat North Indian much , this would be good , but not at all good for food lovers , OVER HYPED PLACE ! -A foodie who has tried 1k restaurants plus around india !
