We have had a positive childbirth experience in Rainbow Children's Hospital, Chennai. The ambience is great. The place is very clean. The medical and non medical staff were all very good. They took good care of my wife and child. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Really nice place, neat, clean and well maintained. Thanks to Dr Mathangi, we were able to have a normal delivery. My wife followed all her instructions and we had an effortless and quick delivery. The staff are really nice a polite and I would highly recommend this hospital and the Doctors there if people are looking for safe and normal delivery.

The services that I receive from the hospital crew is excellent. Dr. Murthy sirand the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about the health and care of the baby. Came here for vaccination for my wife today. Was afraid after reading a few negative reviews and was tempted to rebook at another place but glad we came here. Barely took less than 1 hour including observation time. Very organised and looks like they have taken all feedback to improve the process. There is a waiting area outside where you first get your form with a token number and wait for your turn. You are allowed into hospital premises in batches of 20. We went early so crowd was lesser than usual. Attenders are not allowed inside and can wait outside. Once inside, you make the payment and then proceed for vaccination and then head to a waiting area. No parking inside the premises except for bikes. You can park at metro station nearby for just 20 rs for 3 hours.

Great experience. even though it was totally full with patients, we were always kept in the loop if we had to wait extra and the doctors didn't over charge unlike other hospitals. Came here for a minor surgery for a baby. Recommended. Avoid the shollinganallur branch though.

We had a great response from Each and every staff & doctors starting from Ms.Archana to everybody but except securities as they didn't allowed my relatives easily who are all came from very long distance to see my baby but i understand that due to covid situation. My wife Pradeepa and Myself Ponmudi, we located in Little mount, walkable distance from Rainbow hospital. At the time of 40days we went to a hospital in Annanagar and confirmed our pregnancy but for our 1st consultation we like to go with Rainbow hospital after went through lot of reviews about Mathangi Mam and ofcourse because of short distance from our home. After 1st consultation with Mathangi Mam I decided to fix the Delivery in Rainbow hospital only, eventhough we were from Thiruvarur. My parents, relatives and well-wishers everybody asked us to plan our delivery in our native. But we had a strong beleive that everything will be fine here in Rainbow hospital and also all went good. During every month scan Mathangi Mam was so kind and not even prescribed more than 4-5 type of tablets and She constantly insisted my wife to keep the weight balanced and do more excersice that helps my wife to bear the pain... On Feb 17th 2022, at 3am my wife had a pain and later we admitted her. Whenever they come from inside, the supporting staffs and mathangi mam updated me about her health and allowed me,my mother, my mother in law,my sister one by one a lot of times to be with her. From morning to evening my wife tried her best to do normal delivery. Atlast Mathangi mam asked me to come inside in labour ward by 4.30pm. Next 20mins i cant explain what i felt at that time. Really thank you Mathangi mam for that. At 4.50pm we received our princess with limitless pleasure. And the next day evening they discharged my wife and we back to home. Words not enough to thank Mathangi mam. We named our baby girl as RAJAMATHANGI alies MEGHA. The words from my wife is right below.... I gave birth to my baby girl on Feb 17th... Amazing experience with Rainbow hospital... Mathangi mam is our doctor... From the date of confirmation till delivery we followed her instructions very consciously and Mathangi mam fulfilled all our beliefs... This is our 1st baby.. Due to covid situation we also in panic at the time of scan and consultation every month, but every time I had a positive vibes only from Manthangi mam.. During my 3 month of pregnancy, I was suffered by Covid positive, at the time Ms.Durga mam from rainbow did the online consultation.. every scan and consultation went well.. Initially I didn't much exercise except walking but after my 7th month Mathangi mam really insisted me to do regular exercises mainly squats & butterflies.. After that I sincerely follwed her words or else we definitely end up with 'C'Section.. I did almost 100 steps up&down everyday that helps me a lot.. On Feb 17 I had a mild pain @3am.. The pain gradually increased and sometimes it gone.. So we decided to go to hospital @ 8am.. At that time I had 2cm dilation and i was admitted in pre-labour ward and as soon as Mathangi mam arrived.. We are waiting for get more dilation.. Mathangi mam asked me a permission to broke my water. I said yes, so she broke my water @ 12pm.. Gradually my pain increased a lot by every hour and i was asked to lay down and then put some squats. Finally I delivered our little angel @ 4.50pm.. Very greatful to the entire team they supported me a lot and special thanks to Ms.Mathangi mam.. She is very energetic throughout the entire time and so kindful doctor I have ever seen. We strongly recommend her for consultation and delivery. Hospital is very neat and clean.. Special Thanks to Ms.Archana who is very helpful at the time of admission to discharge.. She is very approachable and friendly nature.... During the Covid time some hospitals restricted to allow the husband in labour ward but Mathangi mam allowed my husband.. thanks for that.. Even they allowed my husband for ever

Very Poor service from Hospital staffs Today(25/10/2021) I took my son for consultation for general cough and cold. 1.After file reached Dr cabin still details are not featured in system. 2.Dr Prescribed medicine and in pharmacy(Ground floor) informing me 1medicine is not in supply so instead of that medicine he is giving some other medicine and convincing me that I called Dr he is not in cabin generally we use to give like that. Moreover in pharmacy they have not provided bill for medicine which I have purchased and when I ask for bill asusaual reply system repair. Ground floor pharmacy person insisting and very casually telling me that in 1st floor itself pharmacy is there. More than patient their importance is blaming reasons and skipping their responsibilities. 3.Charging Rs.700 for consultation my expectation is good service and right guidance. So before visiting any hospital please check and visit.

I am soooo fed up with billing section, n icu n nivu nurse putting unnecessary indent on patient's head which was not used by nusrse for my daughter... She had very high fever n went to emergency ward in Rainbow hospital since her prediction was there, she had two sequences of seizures on same day so they shifted to PICU ward and was there for 3 days, the treatment was good and i was with my 1year and 1 month old daughter 24*7 for 3 days without sleep, the nurse were good n doctors were good towards every patient, but from icu they vl order medicine, syringe, gloves n diaper which is known as indent, while get final bill they billed for things that was not used. Me staying there 24*7they r billing unwanted things or things that's not used for my baby imagine if parents r out in waiting room outside icu how much unnecessary bill would claim to attender head n since ip ppe disposable charges were there per day 220/- n for 4 days 1100 some thing if v raise questions the account manager told that it's the mask,gloves n other covid care that is disposed.i took some photos of billing lady, employees n security staff and pharmacy PPL who was with mas on their neck this is soo irresponsible act n if i questioned the billing lady y no mask v r paying u for that she was smiling n the account manager VIJAY ANAND replied i won't directlu meet patient so I don't need more over am double vaccinated... I replied am scared am standing infront of u n what if anything happens to me my daughter vl get effected i don't need to wear mask bcs am not gonna meet patient directly such a irresponsible answer i vl share pics but am not sure how to uployit if anyone knows pls reply to the review would definitely add staff photo with out mask

Hi everyone, i am blessed with baby girl from this hospital on 06.11.21. Dr. Mathangi is very cooperative and helped in normal delivery, as far as delivery concern the hospital is too good. But the price is very high. And so far I didn't get the new born baby screening report and it is around 1month of delivery date. Hospital response is very poor in terms of child care. New born baby screening is very important but they haven't provide me the screening report and the necessary testing like hearing test is not happened. Every week they will assign for consultation but they will perform the necessary tests. Hospital will keep on postpone your tests because of regular consultation. I need valid information from the hospital. I will not refer anyone for this hospital.

Hi everyone, I was blessed with baby girl in this hospital on 15.11.21. All doctors were very kind in delivery and after birth check up. As far as delivery, caring, check up... the hospital was too good. But the price was very high. Even though facilities were good, prices were high...If they reduce the package cost, then it would be the best..... During discharge I was requested to get the screening report after a week time. And so far I didn't get the new born baby screening report and it is around 1 month of delivery date. Hospital response is very poor... I have called a number of times ...still no proper response New born baby screening is very important but they haven't provide me the screening report

Admitted my son for Dengue fever.. Satisfied with the overall experience here Proper care was given at the right time. Doctors and nurses were very helpful and professional. Overall cleanliness and maintenance was good, only suggestion would be there could have been one oven and fridge in the floor it will be helpful as we can store some home brought food. Otherwise it was good and I would recommend it to others as a good hospital for children.

We had a great experience throughout our visit in Rainbow hospital. We happen to choose Dr.Thendral as our gynaecologist. After being blessed with a baby boy, and now looking back, We never regretted our decision even for a second for choosing Thendral mam. Dr.Thendral was very helpful and understanding. She was very clear and concise from the beginning. We had a complicated pregnancy due to a placenta previa condition. She is highly knowledgeable and most importantly she is highly approachable. She ensured that we had a very safe and happy pregnancy. We met Dr. Suresh Natarajan he is kind and polite, explained the problem and treated well. In nurse station Jothy and shrabani Nurse gave care with kind and taken care of my kid. Since there speciality is for children most of the staffs are so polite and has patience to handle the kids.

From the third month for my wife Mrs.Lavanya we started visiting Rainbow hospitals Guindy for the consultation. Thanks to Dr.Priyadharshini madam for all her instructions and suggestions, we had a normal delivery. Thanks to duty doctors, all the fourth floor nurses and housekeeping staffs for taking care of my baby boy and wife. Everyone were so kind and polite. I had my first delivery in Rainbow Hospital Guindy. It was a normal delivery and we are blessed with a baby boy. My delivery was taken up by doctor Mathangi Rajagopalan and all other duty doctors. I was consulting her from my 5th month. I had a very positive experience with Mathangi doctor, as she tried her level best to make it a normal delivery. Also she insisted me to exercise regularly during monthly visits which helped me a lot during labor. Also hospital provided different online classes. After I was admitted for labor, the staffs kept me very comfortable and I was satisfied with the care given. Even after delivery, all the facilities provided was excellent. Several doctors, dieticians, neo natal doctors, physician, catering services were on rounds. They had feeding sessions for me which was very helpful as I was a first time mother. They also took good care of the baby and cleared all our doubts. Also, special mention to our coordinator Latha, who would clear all our doubts anytime and do all guidance for us. Again, for few weeks untill the baby started gaining weight, Dr Shobana would check on feeding posture and teach if it was wrong which was very helpful. Me and my husband are very satisfied and I would strongly recommend rainbow hospital for anyone.

We consulted Dr. Mathangi from during pregnancy period. Since Day 1, we followed the instructions provided by the doctor and ended up in a normal delivery. I would rate 5 star to all the services that were provided by the team of doctors and supporting staff. The atmosphere in the hospital is positive which made us more comfortable. During delivery even with few complications, the doctor made sure it's a normal delivery. Hospital is near and clean, and the way the nurse were very supportive during our period in hospital. They were available all day and even assisted with feeding and etc. Friendly doctors including Dr. Mathangi and Dr.Vidya impressed us a lot. If there is one negative feedback, I would give it to the food department. Even though they deliver food on time, it's too costly and doesn't taste good. I had a very good pregnancy period at rainbow hospital with the guidance of Dr.Mathangi mam. Dr. Mathangi supported in all the ways to get deliver a healthy baby... Also in my 4th month I got affected by Covid and the support provided by dr. Mathangi and hospital ppl were very positive and helped me to overcome the tough period of covid. I got delivered on 27th of September, the care and support provided by Dr. Mathangi, junior doctors, nurses and support staffs like house keeping were very good and make us to feel very safe and good. Great experience at Rainbow Hospital for our first delivery! Pregnancy and delivery are always stressful, it was triply so for us, due to the prevailing COVID 19 pandemic. After consulting in Bengaluru till the 7th month, we moved to Chennai and after a lot of research, started consulting Dr. Mathangi at Rainbow. I'm glad we took this decision - she's a phenomenal doctor. From the get go, she was very friendly and caring, putting our mind at ease. We did consult a few other doctors the same day, before deciding that Dr. Mathangi is the one who made us feel confident and comfortable. From the very beginning, she was completely transparent about the treatment options as well as potential risks and the interventions she's planning to handle. She also referred us to Dr. Rina to help with the Gestational Diabetes. During delivery, she was patient with us through the labour process, consulting the duty doctor well past midnight, early morning, and during the day, until she delivered the little bundle of joy on our hands safely. Did I mention it was a normal delivery, which we thought would be impossible? Dr. Mathangi and Rainbow made it possible! The nurses, duty doctors, NICU staff, and housekeeping staff matched Dr. Mathangi's care equally - I vividly remember how one staff reassured me by saying that my wife is like their own child while she is within the hospital walls and she actually cared for her like she was, taking very good care for her. Overall, I would highly recommend Rainbow for your delivery - right from the nurses to the doctors, everyone is so passionate and exhibit genuine care for the patients.

Excellent service by hospital management and amazing support from Mathangi mam throughout the delievery process.. Faced many difficulties health wise due to covid during pregnancy but with Support of Mathangi mam and Durga mam recovered completely and able to have normal delivery.. We admitted our kid in emergency for high fever, cough and shortness of breath. Dr Ganesh identified the issue and started the treatment immediately. Nurses, Staffs, duty doctors and asst doctors paid special attention to treat my daughter. Dr Ganesh is very friendly and transparent in his treatment. He kept us updated the progress. He kept on motivating the kid to eat very well. Only one minor feedback , Food quality can be improved. It is a hygiene environment and insurance process was seamless. Thanks Rainbow Team!!!..

ECG done to my grand daughter 7 months old on 26Th Sept. Surprisingly it is not provided by hospital along with discharge summary to claim from insurance. Although result was normal, report ought to have been furnished. On enquiry it is found that report is not traceable and also hospital maintained that no such ECG was done.and billed also. Neither report was saved in the system and unable to retrieve. Hospital managemt must take suitable action. Doctors need to be careful especially in case of pediatric cases.

I’m giving this one star just for the waiting time to see a doctor. Other than that the hospitality , treatment everything is very good. Why do u guys give appointment and then say first come first serve basis, we had to sit for 2-3 hours to meet the doctor. Pls do something regarding this.

I am a marine professional, i left for sailing during the 2nd month of my wife's pregnancy.Only with the support and care of Dr. Priyadharshi mam , my wife handled it alone without any fear.Her way of approach is very calm and composed All the nurses were kind, helpful and attentive . I had a very comfortable delivery experience here. I would strongly recommend for others. Latha mam helped me throughout with the hospital procedure and insurance process.

I had a good experience last month .. Apart from package fare, Everything was really good before, after delivery ...clearing feedbacks..... Personally I would like to suggest one thing is that as hospital exclusively deals with children and maternity cases .... Myself as well as ladies especially would prefer and feel more comfortable if maternity ward is completely handled by female staff and doctors .. Myself and my wife had felt very much uncomfortable when we had a male anaesthetist ...this was one point where we were not comfortable ... Apart from this once again I say Everything was really fine good

My sister came for her first delivery here under Dr. Mathangi ,who was very good and took care of my sister very well. Ma’am was so humble to listen to each and every doubts of us and clarified it and made my sister have a normal vaginal delivery which made our whole family so happy and grateful. We had a very good experience with this hospital. Doctors and the staffs are so friendly and were always ready to guide. They made her child birth a wonderful journey. From her first visit to the hospital till her discharge she had a proper guidance from Mrs. Archana from PCS team. I would definitely recommend this hospital for all the future mothers out there for their safe and happy child birth experience.

Dr. Mathangi mam is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. All of the staff was great - they were always helpful and kind. I Would highly recommend becoming her patient.

Admitted my daughter for dengue. Dr . Karthik correctly diagnosed and gave the treatment to my kid. Doctors and all the supporting staffs are so polite and understanding. Whenever we call them, they immediately respond. They are maintaining a clean and hygiene rooms . Every day the bedspreads and the pillow covers are getting changed. Twice they are cleaning the room. Regularly staff are checking the vital parameters of the kid. Felt so satisfied with the service.

They call them 24/7 and round a call service hospital but not for medical services (worst hospital i have seen in my life). Better they can do other services don't spoil the medical field. 3rd class rated hospital and it should be sealed since they are playing with kids life.

I recently took my mom who is 70 years old for Master Health checkup. I thought i would be spending the entire day in hospital. Was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the whole experience was. In couple of hours, all tests were conducted, spent the afternoon reviewing the reports with specialist. Doctor Wahida Suresh was incredible. She took great care, patiently explained the entire report to my mom in a clear way and answered all the questions. Hard to find such caring doctors who treat old age patients as their own parents and provide care. Overall my experience was great. Would highly recommend Women's Master health check up provided by Rainbow Hospital.

It's been a great association with Dr.R.Ganesh, senior consultant (pediatrics) for more than 5 years. His care and dedication towards the children made us feel comfortable at any situation regarding the health of our children. One of the best amongst the best in child care. We had a very positive experience at the Rainbow hospital, Chennai , Little Mount. Myself and my family is really thankful to Doctor Thendral mam . Who really handled things so ease & simple (Pregnancy trimesters & delivery ). I am not sure that I would be at this peaceful state of mind, if I had gone to some other Gyno or some other hospital . Please do not go for womens general checkup.Its kind of worst and even prescription will not be shared. Every staff will be like money minded. If you took health check up from lab and shared the report to doctor, they will just read the report and read you back the same.Even 10th std student can google it and say what was the problem as per report. And even they will start new checkup as they are not satisfied from registration fee

The services that I receive from the hospital crew is excellent. Dr.Thirunavukarasu sir and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about the health and care of the baby. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends. Appreciate the efforts of Doctor's and staff for taking time to diagnose clearly and giving apt treatment and a nice experience.

We started consulting Dr. Mathangi from 35 weeks. I am extremely happy that we chose her. During my labour, the junior doctors were in constant touch with Dr. Mathangi even in late hours. Her calm way of handling situation is really amazing. Much thankful to the junior doctors, nurses and other staffs who were actively supporting us during the delivery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mathangi if you are looking for a pleasant, hassle-free birthing experience 😀

A special thanks to the gynecologist, Dr.Priyadharshini, for taking care of my wife during pregnancy and labour. she handled it so well and guided us throughout the pregnancy. She was always positive in her approach and helped my wife steer through the pregnancy in the most convenient manner. She is full of knowledge and has extensive experience in this field. She knows the patient's concern very well and found her highly supportive during the consulting sessions. Dear Rainbow management, Nice hospital with good facilities in general. Few suggestions 1. The explanation of billing section to be bit experienced in providing information asked, Couple of times they did not explain properly. 2. Bathroom in private room should be maintained. Shower head was blocked, bathroom needs to be cleaned and without mould. 3. Patient cot found with lot of dust, cleaning team is good however they should look for more detail in cleaning. 4. Canteen facility can be better, food taste is average. Overall we had a good experience and points mentioned are only a suggestion to improve.

Want to take this opportunity to thanks Dr priyadarshini. For making my delivery easy and normal. She is the best doctor I have ever meet. I got three kids and all are delivered by her with normal delivery and the whole process she guided us which make the pregnancy easy. We experienced a lethargic response from the staff who missed out on administering the drops for the newborn baby as prescribed by the doctor. As a result, we had to admit the baby for an extra day. Moreover, the doctor seems unwilling to consider our concerns and blindly supports the hospital management. Instead of acknowledging the issue, he argues that we need to check the medication. Overall, it's been a bad experience. I would advise against going to this hospital.

They have given very good care during my maternity period. Dr. Mathangi made me very comfortable with her approach. Dr. Vidyamoorthy is friendly while scanning. The staffs Ms. Manisha ,Mrs. Devika and Mrs. Latha handled all queries very patiently and very helpful during regular appointments with Doctor. The Nurses also taking care nicely during my admission in the hospital. The rooms and floors are kept very clean. Overall the experience with the hospital is very nice.

I'm greatly thankful to Dr, Nataraj Palaniappan and Dr,Geetha Jeyapathi for the wonderful treatment and care they provided to our son. For the past two months as our son (Baby Declan Fernandes) was in PICU they took the best care with all the patience. From the critical phase to seeing our son smile today,we are very much greatful .They were extremely understanding and empathetic and provided the best treatment asap ..We thank you for all your help and guidance and restoring our son's health.
