Absolutely not a 5 star hotel, it should be a 2* The 2* is for the restaurant and for it's good food. 0* for the room hygiene factor. The rooms are with stinky curtains and pathetic rest rooms. You can check my pics in the review. 1* for the pool even I didn't used it. BUT NO BLAME FOR STAFF The bathroom sinks are worst. The sofa chairs inside the room are dirty. The TV inside the room have only Tamil Channels and even if you ask for other language channels they ignored in the request. The AC do not have a hand remote and worst working condition. In the mid night if you want to reduce AC you have to get up and reduce it. Is this good ? The managers are good and offer help at times. The room service people are good but takes a lot of time as there are more rooms and less housekeeping staff. Imagine the money you are paying and the facilities it is the worst 5* I have seen.

Bathroom infested with mold and rust, noisy renovation and no amenities - This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, at-best maybe a 2 star: 1. The bathroom is unclean, with mold, rust all over. 2. Absolutely no amenities in the room, not even spare towels. The towels are unclean and the comforter quality is that of a cheap roadside motel 3. The building is under renovation , with dirty carpets and amenities like gym are partially closed 4. We had huge noise in the room due to construction on the floors above us. In-spite of asking the hotel management to resolve the issue, they paid no heed. Finally had to escalate the issue to General Manager to get room swapped, essentially losing half a day. 5. The food options in buffet (breakfast / dinner) are very limited. Although the quality of food is decent, the service is very slow. It took the server 20 mins to get us 2 glasses of wine in evening. 6. Only thing going well for this hotel is location / proximity to U.S. consulate.

Visited 2 years back but forgot to put a review. I stayed for 2 days for official visit after checkout i felt like trying the lunch buffet. Just because i had checked out 30 minutes before the waiter stated that i had to pay around 700 rupees more than a normal guest. What kind of hospitality is this ?? It feels more like a baniya running a shop. I did not try their buffet even though i could very well afford it .

The hotel effectively aligns its pricing with the amenities it offers, creating a harmonious balance. The establishment boasts a pleasing ambiance that enhances the overall guest experience. However, a notable drawback is the presence of only two elevators, both of which operate at a relatively sluggish pace. This can be inconvenient, as extended wait times ensue if one of the elevators halts, affecting the timely access to different floors. The rooms are well-appointed, contributing positively to the overall impression of the stay. Nonetheless, there is a discernible discrepancy in the bathroom size in relation to the generous dimensions of the rooms. The bathrooms may be perceived as somewhat cramped compared to the spaciousness offered in the rest of the room. Despite this minor concern, the hotel's favorable pricing strategy, coupled with its commendable facilities and inviting atmosphere, contributes to a generally positive assessment. Addressing the elevator speed and bathroom size could further elevate the guest experience and ensure a more seamless stay.

Was here a few days ago. It's undergoing repairs so it looks like a construction site from inside. The room wasn't great. Rust and mold infested fittings and everything looked old. The room phone was not working so it had to get repaired. It seriously needs refurbishing all around. The only saving grace was that the buffet breakfast was tasty. The staff were generous and helpful and doing their best. During checkout there was no queue discipline at all and people jumped in front of me while the receptionist didn't do anything. That was when I lost my cool. This was a good hotel 4 years ago when I was here before. I would not recommend this to anyone today.

Stayed here for Two days. Excellent Hotel in the Heart of Chennai. I must thank Mrs Garima and Mr Lav who made the stay extremely comfortable and enriching. The Swimming pool is awesome and the Sauna and Steam totally rejuvenates you. The Gym is well equipped with Life Fitness equipment which syncs and connects to your fitness apps. Rooms are comfortable and provide a great living experience. Though on a work trip here, the time spent in the hotel was a memorable experience. Thank you Regards

Hello, I normally get my cakes from the Park, but the last couple of times, I notice that the cake box has black mold on the insides (the inside of the box is white in colour). When I brought it up, I was informed that it is the black/gray paint of the outside of the box (The outer covering is black/gray in colour with the park logo). Not convinced with the explanation though as it does not appear as a paint splatter. It looks very clearly like how a black mold appears. Also, today, the box printing technology is super advanced. It does not work in a way where paint gets splattered. I had placed an order immediately after the heavy rains of 2021 last year and the dampness sometimes results in black mold entering our homes. I noticed the same black mold in some of the areas of the park hotel at that time. So, would not be surprised if the mold managed to spread on the cake boxes as well. I brought it to their notice last time hoping that it will be addressed. However, when I placed the order yesterday, I noticed the same mold in the insides. I was given the same explanation of paint being splattered. I would like this to be looked into seriously please. Also, the cake boxes are very flimsy. It can damage the cake inside easily. Not like the sturdy boxes that you get from other similar hotels. Please address both issues with the first one on priority. Giving 3 stars because I like your cakes. They are aesthetic in design and baked well.

I stayed for 1 night. I was charged slightly above ₹9000 including breakfast. This hotel looks tired and aged. They really need to refurbish every area of this hotel. Some work is happening but it is a long haul. Rooms looks tired. The lift is very slow. Other than the central location, there is nothing going for this hotel as of now.

For my 7 days trip to Chennai this time I decided to book 3 different hotels just to choose the best one which I might choose the next time I visit. Previous stayed in residency tower but was fully booked this time. Anyways, it’s true that this ain’t a 5 star hotel. More to a 3 star perhaps. But the hospitality was really great. The 23 year old (if I remember correctly) needs a lot of revamping. Walking to a bar which was very noisy wasn’t a good impression together with the not so welcoming lights. Their staff were very helpful. Walking towards the room was also not pleasant as there was a kind of stale smell. Like old, or maybe wet floor and cockroach smell or something like that. But to their defense I didn’t see anything crawling around. Inside the room I had the same smell which really bothered me. But I didn’t complain as there was nothing they can do about it. If only the room sliver finishing could be cleaned properly like the sink hole and all and the smell of the hotel itself can change, maybe it will give better vibes to customers. It’s a good hotel and I wish you could be great one day…..

Stay was awesome, the rooms were super clean and very friendly staff. Neha at the Front desk was quite helpful in handling the check in and checkout. Food was super delicious. The place is very convenient for embassy visit. Overall the stay was very pleasant.

The entire place is well decorated. It's the first time visit to this place for lunch buffet. Lots of varieties of foods, starters, salads with pizza, pasta ,main course and pastries, deserts and many live counters are available. Loved the food. Taste comparitivily was bit less but it was healthy. Staffs were very polite and there service was too good. Place is good not only for dining but even for photography.

Comfortable stay! Cordial service at the reception by Neha and Catherine. Awesome food spread in the restaurant on the first floor. I recommend this hotel for staying closer to the US consulate. There are all possible amenities available here.

Very worst experience. Actually I went candle light dinner in aqua, it was completely waste of money. They are great cheaters. They told they will give cake as complementary, but they gave a piece of chocolate cake( juz a small piece). I was completely shocked on seeing it. And the mocktail , that it is also complementary but it was like a water mixed rasna. The prices were too high, but taste was very poor. I ordered seer fish, but it smelt so badly. I jz wasted my money and time. The portion size is also very less for the price they charge. Guys don't go there for candle light dinner( too much mosquitoes) v can't the get the romantic feel, instead v can romance with the mosquitoes 🤣. I felt very bad on my anniversary,They spoiled the mood. Final horrible was I paid ₹1000 as tax🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Lots of stuff to point out on why this hotel shouldn’t be rated five The good Their room service is excellent, especially since they started offering 50% discounts for doctors The house keeping is very prompt and polite The bad : Some of us have laptops and products of international make, and require universal adapters built in. Only few of their rooms provide this The TV doesn’t have an external HDMI adapter in a few rooms, if you want to plug in your chrome cast you have to swing in behind the TV. Good way to get electrocuted. Now this can be avoided if you prefer for rooms in the top floors, but shouldn’t the management provide these basic amenities in every room? The reception people seem to loose their cool when they handle large volume guests. It happens everywhere, but again something which can’t be overlooked A little more interior decoration would be good The dining hall table cleaning and sanitisation after every guest leaves has to be re thought. The ugly The bathrooms are Cold War era style, rusted in places, knobs are sticky and hard to turn, they should have redone this years ago. The bathing shower faucet has to be upgraded. Again this problem exists only in the lower floors

We went there as it was the closest to the US consulate. US consulate is in walkable distance so that's a plus. Our stay was good and pleasant. The staffs are very assisting and really good. Especially the guard at the front door, they greet us in a traditional vanakkam. But a few things can be improved like the bathroom where the hand towel, moisturizer, bubble bath for the bathtub are missing. Didn't try the restaurant. All said it was a pleasant stay and I'll check in again if I've the opportunity.

First time stayed at The Park and felt little unease. The service team are courteous and helpful, but in room experience was not as expected. Fittings looks older, phone is not working properly, water kettle was broken, food taste absolutely not worth for money, no hand bathing nozzle type. Complimentary breakfast was good and enjoyed.

This relates to our time spent in Chennai's Park Hotel. The worst experience I have ever had is this one. We stayed from December 30 to January 1, 2023, for three nights. We reserved a studio room, which cost almost INR 10,000 with tax. But the room lacked both cleanliness and upkeep. The problems we had during our stay are outlined below. 1. Water spills were found on the flooring and in the AC vents, and the rooms had not been adequately cleaned. We later requested room service to clean them so we wouldn't slip on the water. 2. There are faucet and shower leaks, and there is a lot of white fungus growing on the walls as a result of drainage leaks in our rooms and other areas of the hotel. Newborns and families with children should stay away from this location. 3. There is a foul odor inside, and the minibar (little refrigerator) is broken. God is aware of their age. 4. The TV is broken in the first room, and the TV remote is broken in the second. They offered us some elastic bands to mend the broken TV remote when we contacted them and complained about the issues we had. 5. The water in the room service bottles is advertised as mineral water, but there is a foul taste in the water, possibly from the insufficiently cleaned glass bottles. 6. On the second day, the AC stopped operating, and when the mechanic arrived to inspect it, he found the same issue. When he opened the vents to check, cockroaches started to flee from them. Additionally, there is a lot of dust in those vents, which is likely a result of there being no collisions in the space. 7. Bathtubs are extremely slick and dangerous, so we advise you to stay away from them. 8. The glasses in the rooms weren't clean, and fingerprints were all over them. I've been to The Park before, but nowadays it's just another place to stay close to the bus and rail stations; the accommodations aren't on par with a five-star hotel. Instead of saving money, we have wasted it, and this will not be a pleasant memory of our New Year's party.

The rooms are very good. I made the bed & breakfast booking. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are clean. However the prices are very much on the higher side. Expected better ambience for the price. The pool and gym facilities are also very good. Pool is attached to a bar so you need to plan out if you want to have a swim in private. The service was reception was ordinary. My request to extend check out time by 60 minutes to sudden and urgent requirement was turned down.

Kristina is my front desk person who helped me a lot in check-in and made me comfortable. To be open, bathroom has leakage in water which we need to call service for person to clean everyday which is hectic and then bathtub is not clean. Overall we felt uncomfortable in that . Rest is good room , AC , services and all amenities. Lunch is good but menus are lesser when compared to other star hotels.

Håd a èxcellent štay at The park løcated in the heart øf the city and has access to all parts of town. They have a nice bar in the lobby itself and the food is very delicious The best place to relax and unwind was the Aqua: A Rooftop swimming pool with a nice sitout areaPasha: A place for good vibes, Resident DJ hitting amazing scores later we moved to Leather Bar: An open air bar where we can chill accompanied by an indoor bar with music that goes The buffet breakfast I must say was brilliant with a variety of food from continental to indian and alot of fruits and live counters, Everything was tasty and the service offered was just brilliant I would come back for the variety of Buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner they are well maintained and clean. Staffs are very friendly and take good care of any request you have. I would like to thank park staffs for all efforts to may my stay a safe and comfortable one 🥰

Need to work a lot to come back to their old self. The check in and check out took a long time - the reception seemed understaffed to handle the crowd at peak time. The room was of old decor; but was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. But the bathroom needed maintenance, as in many places the paint had bubbled/peeled due to water logs. But yet, it was clean. The breakfast spread was average with the bakery items being little "old". But, the dosa was excellent. The chef of the open counter was patient and was hearing to all the needs of people and was serving accordingly - which was a positive thing. The filter coffee, as expected, was good. The roof top pool side bar's ambiance was excellent. The starters and buffet served was average in taste - with certain dishes excellent and certain dishes be better avoided. Overall, an average place now, which needs lot of work to come back to their old times.

The rooms was not maintained properly. Water pressure in the room was not regulated. Hope the hotel hasn’t recovered from COVID-19. One good thing is that the comp breakfast was served in the coffee shop. The previous visit when my colleague stayed it was served in the room. The hotel has to recover and come to normalcy if not they would lose further business.

Good to place to stay. Breakfast is good, especially butterscotch milk shake, my favourite one. The sambar is not that upto mark. Good customer service at the restaurant and reception as well. But felt something bad about waiting for check-in, waited too much time. Restrooms are like bit old fashioned. Near the restaurant, restrooms are not much that cleaned and maintaining. Good to stay.

The hotel is well maintained. The only issue I faced was during the check-in. I'd already booked room and paid online, still they took more than 1 hour to allocate room and I had to follow up couple of times to get the room. Expected a smoother process as they have 2 hour gap between check-out and check-in time.

I stayed here for a day. The rooms are clean and the service is prompt. The rooms also had all the amenities promised. The food is also tasty. I took one meal using the dine in service and found the food to be great. However it is a bit pricey. The complementary breakfast was great! The check in and check out experience was also good and hassle free.

I stayed at "The Park" hotel since it was close to American embassy as I had my Visa interview scheduled. The best part is its vicinity to some good restaurants and US embassy. They have valet parking available. Wifi is descent and gets the work done. Apart from that it has pathetic rooms, amenities, food (breakfast) and customer service. Unfortunately most of the things were not operational in my room. The safe locker and TV never worked during my 3 days stay. The rooms design is pathetic if you are staying with family as bathroom is separated from room just by a curtain. For people staying with family especially kids/parents it would be extremely uncomfortable. Room had absolutely no complimentary benefits apart from drinking water. I am not sure why would they call themselves a world class or 5 star hotel. The complimentary breakfast is a practical joke. I am sure if US embassy were to move their location this hotel would cease to exist soon.

The park was really a good choice to stay at Chennai for a day visit to suppliers around. We checked in late night without much of a hassle. It was quick check in with less formalities. The rooms were okayish though as even though hygiene was good, it was black molded at various places especially in bathrooms. The common areas such as lobby, restaurant and bar are quite good. The food is good and overall I can say it was a satisfying stay!

Quite a luxurious hotel with a suit style room.. Especially, the road facing rooms, I would give 10 stars to the room.. Service people were also good.. Reception seems to be extra professional (Ruthless) which is really not required.. Due to this utterly professional behavior, something was missing even after all the amenities at its place.. But Still they deserve 5*. The breakfast buffet was awesome, Variety, quality of food, services by the crew.. All Outstanding

Location is absolutely great. Ambience of the reception, hallway and meeting room are good. Food taste was roller coaster ride, one item excellent while other item not up to expectation. The time taken to refill the food in buffet is really too long, coffee/tea for a very small group of gathering was quickly over and refill took near to 15 minutes. I would rate the service as very poor for such a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting chennai for my visa appointment. The hotel at best was poor. The attached images speak for themselves on the quality of the rooms and amenities. The noteworthy highlights which disappointed us the most were: 1. the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. The staff did not do anything about cleaning up. 2. The room was musty and had a moldy smell 3. The rooms were unclean and the finishes were poor. Overall save yourself some money and look around the area for better options - value for money and cleanliness.

The WORST experience ever had in my life. The front desk manager has zero sense and politeness. Did not expect this from hotel like The Park. I booked room 15 days before and confirmed. But during Check in he was quoting during price. (almost more than 2 times). I tried explaining with the quote he had sent before, but he was not ready to speak, he was very arrogant and senseless. He didn’t even bother my concern. Helplessly I moved to different hotel later. Never expected this from you, THE PARK. Please do something about this. (Sorry I forgot to note manager’s name, else I would have definitely mentioned it here)

It was a wedding anniversary evening. The weather was great, the Aqua rooftop ambience was good. Couldn't get the cabanas due to the downpour earlier that evening. The service was great. Mr Vinoth and the server did an amazing job. I didn't like the menu, the scantiness was evident. Definitely not 5 star menu. Ordered salt and pepper prawns, it wasn't great. The murgh tandoor was good. The Turkish skewers were great as well. But I had good evening time by the pool side sipping my hopper. Drinks were great.

I had to stay at The Park for a period of 12 days as a quarantine facility for my covid duty. Rooms are really good, well furnished and well maintained. However occasional small insects can be seen to be stuck to ceilings in restrooms. Was provided with a thin blanket for bed which I felt was not fine for a comfortable nap. Otherwise everything was great. Good service from room attendees, timely response

Park has parked it's standards big time!!! All sorts of beverages, appetizers, main course and desserts (even simple icecream is like shaved ice with flavor) are very very surprisingly much beyond bad!! It used to be good but no more. The brunch buffet is redefined as experienced this afternoon. Against the conventional layout, the buffet menu is printed and each course starting from the soup is prepared afresh from start for every guest. As a result, the food is utterly delicious. It may take a while between every course which is okay as the wait time is an appetite stimulant . Besides, the Chef's are undoubted master craftsmen with every course being straight from the oven, succulent with the wonderful aroma rare to come by in a conventional buffet. With Vinoth and Moushmi in attendance, taking super special care we look forward to another weekend to savour such delicious food. Perhaps, this afternoon's lunch was the best in the last six months of staying indoors. We have no hesitancy in recommending the restaurant, at these troubled times, to our friends. Thank you Vinoth. Thank you Moushhmi for making it a lovely afterrnoon.

Nice cozy place to stay when you come to the city. A business hotel I would say. Apart from the smoke smell in the walkway towards the rooms it's all pleasant experience. The counters for reservation can be improved of their service had to wait long to be checked out or checked in. Food is top notch provided, all sort of cuisine is available. The rooms are pleasant without any smell. Linen are clean Spacious and comfortable Hotel is situated in the heat of the city- good accessibility

I am just about to check in (29 August) and the experience so far has been distasteful. 1. Check in experience - 1/10 I understand that an early check-in (12:00 noon) is subject to availability. After arriving at 1:15 PM, I was told that there is no possibility of a check-in prior to 2. I'm fine with this. I then went on to seek clarity if the check in will happen at 2 or not. But no, no idea at all. The templatized answer has been "pls have a seat" The front desk is CLUELESS. We have the front desk staff walking here and there, and doing anything but serving guests. If the check in is expected to take longer, I am absolutely fine with it. But no, ZERO clarity here. The only saving grace happens to be Mr Suresh.ch

Decent hotel. Worth the price. Courteous staff. You will be offered a welcome drink & some welcome desserts kept at reception. Stayed in a business room, big enough to easily accommodate 2 people, with 2 chairs & a mini table placed on bed side. It’s located very close (walking distance) from US Embassy, so you will find many people dressed formally.

While the location is very prime experience needs to improve. It does not give a 5 star hotel feel. Right from you come out of your cab, no one attends you. You walk to counter a single person handling many clients. Only one room key given. Lobby runs with loud music. Not a place to come second time.

Was great once upon a time but the age shows now. Rooms are in terrible condition and there's no effort to try to keep it up to standard. The food is not bad, but the service of it is a hit or a miss. To give an example, coffee is average, but takes 25 mins to prepare. The location is great, and most of the people come there only because of it's proximity to the embassy. I'll never visit here again that's for sure.

A decent 5-star hotel with all the 5-star amenities. However the bathroom fittings seemed old and desperately need to be changed. Also no detachable shower head! On the plus side, the breakfast is simply amazing in both range and taste.

Nice luxurious hotel to stay in with well comfort rooms and plenty of parking space. Hotel is located conveniently at the heart of the city. Pooja Lulla was very supportive and did an excellent job on behalf of The Park in coordinating and organizing things for my stay. Front desk are also very friendly and I would definitely visit again to The Park Hotel for my future stay.

The hotel is quite full most of the time as it’s the closest to US Consulate. Most of the people having visa interview Peter to stay in the hotel. However, after reading reviews for food taste and quality we didn’t even bother to try it out. Even the concierge service is not that great had to carry all our bags ourselves. I would say if the hotel seems to booked most of the time and the parking for car so much full then why is the cleanliness and maintenance a issue. Breakfast spread is less but it’s is good and taste also fine.

An excellent hotel situated in Nungambakkam, Chennai. It is very well known for its might life through the notoriously famous club Pasha. Aside from that their restaurant 601 also has its fair share of fans. The property also has a rooftop restaurant amazing views of the city and relaxing tents to dine in. Recommended for those who are adventurous and not afraid of night life!

For a 4 star hotel, the cleanliness is questionable with mosquitoes in the room, bed which looked like had no change of sheets. The hall way and the floor could use deep cleaning. When asked about the mosquitoes, I was told that they will change our rooms to some other top floor room, which leaves me with the question, is there downs of services in each floors!?? While the generic bathrooms near the lobby look chic the ones in the actual rooms are in a very bad state. The plug point/ socket in the bath room is only for display and is not functional.

The best part is its centerally located ...No one will pick your luggage to your room and they don't even sanitize your luggage even when covid cases us on rise. The rooms has posters of some ages neither of were born! My bedroom had a huge poster of "bahut din huae". What was that big poster doing in middle of decent room. They provide good number of water bottle but not basic things as comb, moisture, shower gel, slippers. On asking, they provided everything but it was a pain. Plus there are no good place to eat outside of hotel. I faced this issue with whole of chennai... restaurants are not good in Chennai for non-vegetarians.

I just visited the park hotel for some work along with my family . As it was time for dinner I just asked the receptionist about various restaurant in the hotel . I was informed that restaurant One on the ground floor had buffet laid out , which I just walked over to see the layout . I meet the Mr Ashutosh nerlekar ( chef Executive ) and happened to interact . A warm personality whom of course I asked about my query to have something in continental which we had planned in some other restaurant. He confidentiality said to just try once in his restaurant . Buffet rates (1750 incl taxes ) incl all . Tried Pizza , pasta , garlic bread , fish steaks , chicken garlic etc . Trust me one of the best Pizza ( thinnest crust ever with authentic touch ) , pasta and garlic bread . Thanks to Chef Wayne and Chef Ashutosh to prepare exactly wat I like . Other things were equally good though we just tasted it a bit only . But overall experience was worth every penny . Highly recommended . Next would be trying their buffet dinner and ale cart on roof top restaurant . Thanks

Pathetic spreads. You have to struggle to find food items. Grill nd starters are very very limited. On repeated requests, they will serve limited quantities. Don't ever bring any guest here. One of the worst experience of dinning out in the city.

A very good 5 star hotel at Gemini Circle Chennai. Went there in an office event accompanied by buffet dinner. The event was hosted at SIX-O-ONE restaurant. The ambience is excellent and well supported by excellent staffs. A bit smallish for or gathering of around 40. Food was very good. The veg items were excellent and enjoyed then despite myself being a strong non vegetarian. Enjoyed the evening.

Do not pay premiums price for below average MOTEL. Certainly this is not a 5 star hotel. I deeply regret that I booked this hotel. 1. Poor service from reception, 45 min wait to get the receptionist. 2. Room is stinking, some kind of foul smell. 3. They really need to consider deep cleaning of the carpet in the corridor. 4. Mosquitoes in the room 5. Mold is developed in the bathroom

For a '5 star' hotel, the park is quite outdated. The rooms were in bad shape, expecially the bathrooms. Rusty and old. Although the staff was very courteous and polite, the front desk missed many of our requests when we called (water bottles, towels etc) and we ended up having to track down the housekeeping staff ourselves to get these things for our room. Im giving 3 stars only for the food, which was excellent. Small spread but great food. Also, special mention to Sett, who worked at the restaurant for taking good care of us.

I had stayed at The Park Chennai about 2 years back and now yesterday ….. must say that there has been a drastic change in the quality of services. The corridors on the way to room had a kind of foul smell. No hand towels and bath mat was provided. No green tea in the room. Overall the quality of services was bad. Even when asked for cocktails which were mention on the menu, they said they don’t have them. Asked for Classic Martini and must say was pretty bad. They really need to pull their socks up

The location is a prime one so traffic is heavy. Other than that I went for a community connect so I couldn't comment on the rooms and services. The food they provided was like high tea in the afternoon so I just got to taste a few and then left the place to have lunch. Overall the inside of this place is huge and the ambience was good from what I perceived.

I stayed here with my family for a day in August, 2022. We hired an outstation taxi during our trip. Some positive aspects:- 1). The reception staff were well-spoken and handled guests with patience and respect. Kudos to them! 2). The room service was great and prompt(except for the luggage delivery). 3). The service at the restaurants was nice. Some negative aspects of our experience:- 1). The hotel staff took between 30-35 minutes to bring our luggage up after checking-in. Our clothes were in those bags, and it began to frustrate us to just wait for them. This is probably a one-off issue as the staff might have been busy at that particular time. However, I'd suggest guests to take their own luggage to their rooms - it also relieves the staff from extra work. 2). The Park does not provide accommodation for taxi drivers to sleep overnight. Drivers are only provided with a washroom, which my driver said wasn't well kept. So they are forced to sleep in the car in Chennai's humidity. I know of smaller hotels which provide basic dormitory facilities for cab drivers. The Park should consider providing such a facility to make the experience better for cab drivers. They can strictly force rules such as banning cigarettes and paan to ensure cleanliness. 3). The washroom jet spray in guests rooms was difficult to operate. The waters' force is either too weak or too strong, making it inconvenient for me and (especially)my parents to operate it! Little things like this can be better taken care of. Overall, guests are well taken care of but they can improve on some of the negative points mentioned above.

Great location... And that's where the positives ends. Customer service is abysmal, seems like it's not a high priority here. The rooms are in shabby condition, bathrooms look old and not maintained. Came in at night after a long journey, took a shower and the bathroom flooded. Needed to call three times to get the room changed. Breakfast buffet had a paltry selection. Need to make an update, there is a manager by the name of Kuntal who went above and beyond to make breakfast a pleasant experience. When he had a moment, we spoke with him and he explained to us that the pandemic made everything more difficult and now they are working hard to get back to normal. It gave me the opportunity to understand from the hotel's perspective. So I will certainly come back.

I refuse to call this a 5 star hotel, it was 3 stars at best. The reception service is understaffed and inefficient. I booked a room called ' the residence', but was given a normal queen room and then when I asked about it, the person at the reception tried to hoodwink me by saying that this is the luxury upgraded version of the residence room. The carpet was dusty, the bathroom fittings were rusty, everything had an unkempt quality to it. Even though on the website they say that there is complimentary airport pickup for the room I booked, I was told that it is chargeable the day before when I called to arrange it. Same with the complimentary amenities in the room( perhaps they should check the dictionary meaning of the word complimentary). Also, personalised check in and check out were unavailable (also mentioned as included when I booked the room, but when I called I was told it's unavailable). The only good things were that the employees were polite and the breakfast was nice. Otherwise, not up to the mark at all. There wasn't even a welcome drink service in the lobby as is the norm in normal 5 star establishments.

Very well maintained considering that its around 20 year old property. Staff were very friendly and supportive. The food could have been bit better. The taste didn’t match the standards of a star hotel. It was more like a normal restaurant taste, even the South Indian items in the breakfast. The staff uniforms could be more professional I suppose, especially the reception staff uniform was looking like bouncer uniform.( just a personal opinion) Great location as it’s in the heart of th city right next to the Gemini flyover, very accessible to shopping, recreation etc Special thanks to the reception team for taking care of our request to keep the medicines in the fridge for a couple of hours even after our check out . Good to see that they even have EV charging parking available at the hotel 👍

Overall its good. But pictures that are online are better than reality. Rooms are not as beautiful as they look in the picture. But I am not saying they bad, they are still good. Food was better though the menu had a limited options. Here I am talking about the breakfast. Lunch and dinner were very expensive as it was Sunday - 2000 pp. Every Staff member was kind and very supportive - reception, restaurant or cleaning department. Worth staying here if you have nice pocket and coming specifically for Visa.

Location is one of the biggest plus point of this property. Very near to US Visa Application Center and Embassy. However, the spread of their menu needs to improve. They must make changes to their set menu and also add more options to in-house dining options. Also, washrooms should be carefully looked after as there is no proper slope there and hence, water remains there and does not drain by itself.

Excellent location and the rooms are quite decent too. However, service isn't that great - took a long time to check in and also no one to help with luggage etc. It was a bit noisy too, especially downstairs and also a bit in the room, possibly due to thin walls (even after being in the 5th floor) There did help with luggage storage though later. And they also provide a good amount of complimentary drinking water, so that's convenient too instead of purchasing it from somewhere. The Pool looked good too but didn't get a chance to swim.

The Park Chennai is a luxury hotel located in the heart of Chennai, India. It is known for its modern and stylish design, offering a blend of contemporary amenities and personalized service. The hotel features well-appointed rooms and suites with modern furnishings, along with a range of facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and multiple dining options. One of the highlights of The Park Chennai is its rooftop bar and restaurant called "The Leather Bar," which offers panoramic views of the city skyline. The hotel also houses other dining venues like Six-O-One, which serves a variety of international cuisines, and Aqua, a poolside restaurant known for its grilled delicacies. The Park Chennai is centrally located, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. It is situated near major attractions, shopping areas, and business districts in Chennai. The hotel's attentive staff and quality service are often praised by guests. However, it's important to note that individual experiences can vary, and it's always a good idea to read multiple reviews and consider personal preferences when choosing a hotel. I recommend checking online travel platforms or review websites to gather more specific feedback and experiences from guests who have stayed at The Park Chennai.

One of the best hotel for a comfortable stay. I dad a pleasant stay with family. Pro: 1) Courteous staff 2) Clean rooms 3) Great ambiance 4) 2-5 minutes walking to the US Consulate (depending on how fast you can cross the road without pedestrian crossing Complementary breakfast service seems to be mismanaged and we felt the hotel is understaffed to serve the guests. That is the only reason for me mark it a 4 star.

The Park Chennai is quite a luxurious hotel with stylish suite-style rooms. I must say, the road-facing rooms deserve a solid 10 stars for their elegance and comfort. The service from the staff was commendable. They were attentive and friendly. However, I found the reception to be exceptionally professional, bordering on being a bit too rigid, which, in my opinion, wasn't entirely necessary. This ultra-professional demeanor left something to be desired, even with all the amenities in place. Nonetheless, I believe they deserve a 5-star rating overall. The breakfast buffet was nothing short of awesome—variety, quality of food, and the service by the crew were all outstanding. It's truly a delightful place to stay in. The rooms are not just comfy but also elegantly designed. The hotel's pool is approximately 12 meters long and 5.6 feet deep, providing a great place to relax. I must mention the housekeeping staff, who were not only friendly but also diligent in their work. There was one standout staff member,, who seemed to understand my preferences exceptionally well. He noticed that I preferred using the sofa cushions instead of the regular big pillows they place on the bed. Without me even asking, he switched them out for another pillow with the same height as the sofa cushion. It's this kind of attention to detail and excellent service that truly sets this hotel apart. I highly appreciate the entire staff here; they are genuinely nice people. This hotel provides an exceptional experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Rooms were just okay--nothing great to write home about. Service was good -- staff were really accommodating! However, the food and drinks from the hotel were insanely overpriced. While it is okay to charge/pay a premium for convenience/luxury, I cannot fathom having to pay an 8x markup for a beer that is bottled a few km away from the hotel. Absolutely atrocious.

Probably one of the worst hotels I've lived in. For the premium charged, the cleanliness and service were atrocious. There was a literal cockroach that appeared at the dining table of their restaurant! The only positive was the location of the hotel, which is walking distance from the US Embassy. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone

Run down, indifferent staff at the front desk and breakfast buffet. Not so nice toilet linen, bed was comfortable. Ceramic tiles on the room floor was chipped and cold to the feet. Toiletries were good. Fridge was working...a rare find. Window glass was dirty. The mixer in the bath would not turn, permanent setting to lukewarm water. Main door was very tight.

This was one of the worst hotels stays I have had. First of all, this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Maybe it once was but it cannot claim to be one anymore. I don't know of any 5 star hotels that don't have running hot water. I had to call someone from reception when I needed hot water for a bath and someone brought hot water in a bucket with a mug!! There was a musty moldy unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. The first room I got had such a strong smell of mold and the bathrooms smelled of sewage so I asked for a room change. The rooms are super old and in need of an update. Nearly all the pieces of furniture are scuffed, chipped and damaged. My bed linen was stained as was the chair in the room. Cleanliness is not at all a priority at the park. There was dirt and grime on the corners of the room, the windows had not been cleaned in ages and the carpets in the halls were littered with matchsticks and little pieces of trash. There were towels soaking up water on the floor in some places in the hallway. The worst part was that I got very sick from the food after ordering room service in the night. I was up throwing up all night because of it. The chef and staff very apologetic about this later which I appreciate. The breakfast spread was also decent. Everything is super over priced though including the food, the shuttle service(Rs. 2200 for airport v/s Rs.360 on OLA) and the room itself. It is worth less than half that in my opinion. My understanding is that the only reason this place continues to operate is because of its proximity to the US consulate. It is a short walk away and was super convenient. However, the convenience was not worth the hit in comfort of stay and I will never be staying in this hotel again even if I have work at the consulate. Save your money and stay some place else and invest the money in cab fare.
