Good choice of lacality, facing the beach and from watching people do fitness early in the morning and people overflowing in front of the shops till the silence of the street, where only the shore noises can be heard.... pleasant and peaceful place for old and middle aged people. The ambiance was sanitized and beautifully maintained. Overall it gives a look of a place i dreamt of..... Talking about the cooking, it was like home-made food, the right amount of masala, salt and quantity !! From people who welcomed us to those who served us were really kind-hearted and pleased. I'm glad I got to stay there even if it was for a short while and made sure i didn't that place :) What are you still waiting for ?? Grab the opportunity to stay there while you can, live your life upto the fullest <3

Needed a place to hunker down in Chennai near my parents. Awesome service by folks there. Munna, who delivered meals and took care of other necessities at this location was great. Food was pretty healthy as well. It is kind of on the noisy side being on the main street. when it is quiet, the sound of beach waves and air is awesome. I am not sure what happening in Besant Nagar. But there seems to be dog gang wars which is what makes this location a bit noisy. Get your ear plugs when you book for a quiet sleep

We stayed with Kolam Servived Apartment at Eliot’s Beach for 8 days, we are very impressed with the warm, friendly and thorough services. The room and apartment are both spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable. With great beach view at the balcony. The kitchen is very handy, as we can store our food and drink in the fridge. And we are allowed to use the washing machine and hang our clothes in the public balcony. We will be back and live in Kolam Serviced Apartment again.

We had a very pleasant by the besant ngr beach road. Place was clean and we had timely help with food. Brilliant terrace with a view!! The caretaker boys do a great effort in cleaning up and helping whatever is needed !! Definitely recommend this place for the budget 😎

Our friends booked us an apartment here while we were in Chennai for their wedding. The staff were really attentive and friendly, rooms have A/C and ceiling fans, beds were super comfortable, and I appreciated the fact that we had access to a washer during our trip. We also appreciated that we were close to local bars and restaurants.

Comfortable stay. Opposite to beach, easy accessible to all shops and restaurants. For a one day, paid approximately Rs.4,200. For a period of stay, suggested to pick this one.

Few things to add about place. Beach side room available and good. Good for family (couple). Can use kitchen appliances to cook our own(veg only) with our raw material. Can enjoy home food if use kitchen. Breakfast was good. U need to ask cretaker if you want anything.

Booked a few days for my brother and his wife. They had a very comfortable stay. The manager allowed for an early check-in when requested. Overall, lovely accomodation with the beach view. They enjoyed a lot and appreciated the cleanliness and maintenance of the apartment.

We stayed at Elliot Beach, Kolam Service Apartments for a week or so with my elderly parents and it was awesome. The big balcony facing beach was one of the best views you will have during sunrise and sunset. The manager, chef and staffs were so helpful and caring. Moreover, all their menu prepared by their chef was tooo good. I would say "ONE MUST TRY" for the location and their Services

This is a G+2 Property. In Ground floor, Its reception/front desk and kitchen. In First floor, its a 3 BHK, listed separately as Queen bed with beach view. In Second floor, its a 2 BHK, listed as an entire apartment. We booked 2 BHK listed as entire apartment. It contains big hall with AC & TV (Tata sky with HD subscription), Dining hall, 2 Bed rooms with AC, fully equipped bathroom with geyser, dental kit, etc., There is also a kitchen with Fridge and Oven, though we did not use it. There are plates, general groceries like salt, sugar, etc., Now, the key selling point of property is its Balcony. Its big with table and chair, overlooking beautiful Elliot beach, could sit there for whole days watching the happening scenes from day till night. We had a stay with my extended family of 4 adults and 2 kids. It was a pleasant stay starting from check-in till the check-out. Front desk manager was very helpful handling all our request and acted instantly to all our request, awesome work. If you are looking for a beach resort type property within the city limit to explore all nearby places and visit restaurants, then do not think twice to book this property. It had utmost privacy with all required amenities for a pleasant stay.

A lovely place to stay in chennai at the Elliot beach. Beautiful view of blue sea. Service is excellent and whatever we asked was done quickly. Neat and clean place. We enjoyed our stay quite a lot.

Beach Kolam Apartments at Elliot Beach is a very comfortable place to stay in a beautiful surrounding, with a gorgeous view on the sea. This hotel has all convenient facilities you may need, it is well maintained, they serve good food and people are very friendly. I enjoyed my stay with them.

Property located at prime location of chennai right opp to Bessie beach , Nice Staff , Neat and clean place , Feel like home. Special mention about roof top for night dinner along with my family , had a great fun and it was like cherry on a cake for us to complete the trip.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay here ,which is close to the eliot beach. Could take long walks in the mornings and enjoy the beach in the evenings. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the food served was made to our taste.will always come back here

This is an excellent place to stay in exactly in the hub of Besang nagar beach. The view to the beach is worth every penny. The ambience is very calm and cosy and so clean. The kitchen prepares great food and will not disappoint. The host was very helpful and caring.Although i booked last minute and just walked in, I want dissatisfied at all.Would highly recommend this stay.

The beach house is at a great location with Elliot’s Beach right in front. Close to a market as well. The staff at Kolam was polite and helpful. The terrace is accessible to all and you can enjoy beach views..

Booked the room for weekend with friends. This is basically a service apartment, the room was neat n clean. Access to kitchen, dinning area and hall was well maintained. Balcony view was awesome. Terrace gives a clear view of the Elliot beach. Beach view accommodation within the city is something tough to find, MUST VISIT.

Place with a great vibe. Very clean and spacious room for two people common area is maintained so well, courteous people and great food, wonderful view on the beach. The balcony was smaller than expected. But really, nothing to complain about...can't get better at this price in the heart of Chennai.

This time it was most memorable stay coz I asked for first floor beach view balcony to hangout but luckily I got in second floor which has a big private sitout , in the morning and evening it will be more pleasant and my long day dream came true , Staffs are very cooperative and supportive

It’s a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. The beach view from the balcony is tremendous. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Anand, the admin and his assistant bhaiya. They both were extremely friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience in both Besant Nagar and Gandhinagar's stay, too. Ilavarasi Ma'am was so friendly and maintained high hospitality.
