We stayed here last November. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the food was delicious, and the room was comfortable. In fact, the bathroom was huge! And, there was a small living room space with a refrigerator, plates, knives, etc. for hosting. We really enjoyed our stay here. True, the style is a bit dated, but overall the experience was really positive. Three points for the hotel itself, but 5+ for the staff.

Okay place if you don't expect too much. Generally clean and okay to stay overnight but it's an old hotel with minor upgrades. If you're not frightened by Soviet style and just need to stop overnight you'll be okay.

This hotel didn't change much since Soviet Union times - but it's clean, quiet and non-expensive. If you are not a fan of "eurostyle" - you can stay here. Also very nice position in the city. I really enjoy all my stays here.

This is a 1 star hotel at best. Poor cleaning (my room was not cleaned until I specifically requested so). Mold/dirt of the shower curtain, bed sheet is too small for the bad, breakfast is terrible.

Very poor hotel. On webpages looks good but the room facility is old. People on reception doesnt speak english. They are unhelpful. When we arrived new 'turistic' tax were applied. This 'tax' was not in other hotels in town. Most terrible on hotel were breakfast. No bread there. Only some rice, some strange porrige and kind of meet pieces and some salates. We spend week on boiled egss.

Budget price hotel with good location. Breakfast is still in soviet style. It should be better.

In terms of cost (via booking.com) to expectations vs reality I'd suggest you consider elsewhere. Big thumbs up to the friendly staff though... and this is a very English speaking hotel too

I loved my room and the bathroom was so nice. Everything was comfortable and also at a great price. The staff treated me so friendly and even at midnight hours, the front desk receptionist was so polite and nice.

Very nice and friendly hotel the staff have good knowledge of English language the rooms are clean and very comfortable, I would also recommend the restaurant good price for excellent food I would definitely go back
