We moved in September 2020, the first management that was here was wonderful, but it has all gone downhill. This complex has changed management four times since we've been here and the newest management is the worst by far. We went nearly 6 months without air conditioning, during the peak of summer. Their only solution, a window unit in our bedroom (they finally gave us the unit 5 months in without A/C), while the rest of our apartment reach 85-90 degrees during the day, we had a child living in the other bedroom that ended up having to stay with his grandparents because the apartment was unbearable. We've been dealing with a horrendous roach infestation for the past 16 months. Titan the complex's chosen exterminator is a joke as well when they do come into our apartment (which Is a rare occurrence) they will come in, look around standing from the foyer and leave without even spraying, This has happened multiple times. Our dish washer is also broken and has been since October and it's now January at my time of writing this. And to top it off our kitchen sink was leaking so bad that the cabinet space underneath is caving in. Luckily they did come in and repair the leak and sucked all the water out. Surprisingly, the maintenance person noticed there was black mold all over, they told us they already told the management and they would be back to fix the cabinet space and get the black mold out. They had even warned us while there that the type of mold is very unhealthy and dangerous to breathe in. And this happened in October as well. Also our mailbox had broke, so I drove to the office, the person that was there just shook his head and threw his hands in the air and said, "not my problem." All they do is make excuses and empty promises. since the management changed this last time we have still been unable to log in to our portal and I've called the office multiples times only to quickly shuffled off the phone by the "annoyed" staff. Trash is a non-stop issue here as the compactor often is not working and trash just gets piled up in front of the door of compactor often times higher than the compactor itself. the gate hasn't worked since we moved in which leads to locals(WHO DO NOT LIVE HERE) to use our parking lot as a dump site. site for old furniture and trash. They did however at one point hand out a form saying the gate was fixed and to put our information down to get a fob or whatever, this was also almost 9 months ago, apparently they lied to give us hope. the units are dated, and low quality. Linoleum floors, laminate countertops, ancient appliances. Even at our lower rate ($1200 for a 2 bedroom) the value is poor. Especially since the current going rate is about $1500 for the same thing. the only things they done is paint the front entrance and exterior of the buildings, make-up on a pig. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

I wish I can put 0 stars because this place don’t deserve none! These people showed me a show 2 apartment that was fabulous. 1st off I wanted a 3 bedroom and was never shown any until the day I moved in. The apartment was roach infested, nasty used carpets and flooring, broken non-working appliances, bathrooms, bedrooms, window shades all nasty, broken you can tell someone just moved out. I went through 2 apartments in one day on the day I had to move in and both were disgusting! As I told Latoya had she shown me a 3 bedroom I would have NEVER moved in this nasty place. The office staff are liars and will do you dirty to make money. As a matter of a fact when I complained to Danielle about the living conditions the first day I moved in she had nerves to tell me I signed a contract and I told her that contract was voided due to the lies of the actual apartment they put me in she then told me she was going to lower my rent a little but corporate can help me lower it more which she was supposed to notify me the following Monday when they were on the property however she never called me to speak with them. They also have kids on the property that targeted my grandson and bullied him to where we had to call the police several times. I have pictures, videos and email correspondence to cover these claims. Look…. like Forest Gump RUNNNNNNN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! This place brought on bad anxiety, triggered my allergies because I am allergic to roaches and I am being so serious. It is not peaceful here at all! The HVAC doesn’t work at all so we were living in 90 degrees which was unbearable. If you value your peace of mind stay clear away from this place it is a death trap!

Update: this is Addie Glasgows partner, my girlfriend left the lengthy review post below. Here's the update: they finally fixed the dishwasher a few weeks ago. It is still iffy sometimes, but at least it works. The black mold is STILL under our kitchen sink. My girlfriend is now in her 2nd trimester of her pregnancy and has been living with the black mold the whole time. We have been telling management about the mold issue. The maintenance workers that came in recently also said they'd report back to management about what they found. We have now been living with it for 7 months now. They still refuse to fix the cabinet space below the sink that has been caving in. The bugs are still a MAJOR issue. We are now to the point of reaching out to legal aid because the conditions that these people will allow you to live in, is criminal. They have NOT reached out to us to fix these problems but best believe they will reach out to you when they want that rent money that they don't deserve.

ROACHES ARE EVERYWHERE! I moved in back in April and have been faced with roaches every night. Every room is filled with bugs- literally makes me feels so nasty at night, trying to find a way to leave without breaking the lease, but this is unacceptable. Don’t think I should be paying all the money for issues such as this. I pay for pest control and it doesn’t even show. I have to by my own supplies just to make it bearable. Save your money and go live else where- this is not how anyone should live.

My experience at Cherokee Summit apartments has been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and the customer service is always wonderful. The grounds are are always well kept. There a lots of amenities to enjoy here, and the location is very convenient.

5 stars to the maintenance supervisor Manny. He keeps his word at what he says he is going to do. Since he has been working with this apartment complex things have really been getting done and done the right way. Appreciate you Manny

Please do not live here, the roaches are unbearable. I’m typing this up because one just crawled across my body as I was sleep. I’ve bombed , sprayed and everything. This is ridiculous you can’t be comfortable in your own home. Trash is left piled up leaving food out for other rodents and pest and there is no help. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR LIVING SPACE WOTH GERMAN ROACHES.

For the most part. Living here is quite nice. Since the new management team took over, last year, confitions have improved a lot. My main problem is with noisy neighbors, something common to apartment living.
