Great value lunch deal. Chips are decent, not too greasy. Fish had a bit too much batter but it was probably the best batter I have had so catch22 here. Saveloy was good Mushy peas - proper peas made well, 10/10 Overall £5 for this much is a steal. The team seemed friendly too.

A friend recommended this place when I asked her the best fish and chips in town. I had friends visiting from abroad and they were interested in English typical food. Being from abroad myself, I previously tried flavourless and soggy fish and chips and decided that it wasn't something for me. But this place totally changed my mind and I will be ordering again soon.

Great chippy, been around for as long as I can remember and has a great reputation around the whole town.

We order from here twice a month and usually the service is impeccable. Today was the worst ever!! We ordered through Uber Eats and when the order arrived it was wrong. I called the shop directly and spoke to a polite young lady who mentioned it to the manager in the background. The manager was claiming that I was lying as he packed the order himself - but the order WAS wrong! To rectify he said I could go to the shop and collect the missing items. Why would I do that when I had used Uber Eats in the first place? Surely that would indicate that I can’t get to the shop personally or I would have done! Attitude of the manager was not good, food was cold anyway and extremely below par for what we’ve come to expect from this establishment. All in all, this one experience has now made us decide not to get food from here again. Disgusting way to behave towards loyal customers indeed!

I had the last fish from here on the counter on Saturday afternoon and I’ve now had food poisoning from here for the last 48 hours never felt so ill in my life so fish must have been kept out too long in the heat perhaps. Shocking

Very friendly owners and staff, great gamily overall who own nore than one local chippy, i have been eating at their places for aroubd 30 years. Do the best fish cakes and got good deals on lunch boxes will even let me swap sausage for a fish cake. Nice price good portions, even do offers to help the poor.

Paid meal for 2 , received one. Not the best fish & chips as we had before. 30 min trying to contact them, they cut off the calls. Will be last time we order.

I or my wife book a Chicken Kebab and chips. Very surprised to see that it was all chips very little meat and for £8 it is a shock . It was the first time I have order the kebab . Just check your portion size before you leave . Diappoubting

Very disappointing cold soggy greasy chips cheese tastes like plastic!! I asked for cheesy chips what a waste of time and money not recommended!! Even dog don't want to eat them....

A fast food service with impeccable food standards for a small business. My brother has been buying food every Saturday for a few years now and the family of the business are beautifully accommodating to his social needs with his Learning Disability and Autism. They are a blessing to the community.

I've been to a few kebab places in Banbury and I wish I'd found this place 2 years ago. The food and service was amazing. Plus 5/5 on food hygiene. The portion size was huge and soo tasty.
