We come from the other side of town to go to this chip shop as it is one of the nicest, but they ALWAYS forget to pack something. Atleast the last 5 times we've had stuff missing from our order. Today were missing 2 pots of curry sauce four our lunchboxes and my son's fishcake. Will not be returning again. The amount of food we've been charged for and haven't recieved over the times we've been there is a joke. Tbf the portion sizes seems to of got less and less over time aswell.

Best Chippy in the country. Always tastes fresh and brilliant customer service. Sets the standard and nowhere else in the Banbury area comes close. Exactly what a fish and chip shop should be like 🎣 🍟 🥡

Been coming to your shop for over a year now because it was the best fish and chips in banbury but for the last two times which includes today's it's been very bad, for £6.70 for a piece of cod which was over cooked dry and flakey and chips not so bad but it was just the fish so for this reason we will not come back. Such a shame

I lived in Banbury back in 1978 to 1981 and this was the best Fish shop in town. The fish was great, chips great, mushy peas were great. Customer service was fabulous. I hope it is still as wonderful. If I were to get back to England this would be my go to Fish and shop!

The chips are always good, not dripping in oil, the pie's taste good and I've found the fish and sausages cooked well, went back again as the food was very good last time. Everything was great, everything was cooked well and not greasy. Friendly staff

I have been getting my fish and chips here for over 30 years! Local family run business. Very polite staff and owners. When you walk in to the shop you always feel welcome. It is a very clean shop and I would always recommend them to anyone that asks. Quality food, quality service and friendly banter once you get to know them. Probably the best Chippy in Oxfordshire!!

Me and my mum had chips and sausage with curry sauce from here last night and we both ate all our chips and by 3:30am I was sick throwing up and my mum came home from work at 14:30pm n was being sick and the only thing which we ate was those chips from this place and now we both have food poisoning due to it so unacceptable we are regulars here but from now on we’re not going back at all.

Ordered fish and chips with curry sauce. Food was amazing but I was surprised at how small the portion of fish was. Lot of batter but not much fish inside.

Q Fish is without a doubt the best chippy in Banbury! Portion sizes are great, they always accommodate my daughter's cheeky special requests, and the prices are reasonable. The chips are never too greasy and you can tell that the oil is changed regularly. Staff are always polite and friendly too.

Match 2023: Was undecided what to try, and was recommended to try the Gillys Burger by staff. A first trial of a new burger that was built up to be amazing by staff. (Think burger, chicken, cheese, chilli cheese bites, BBQ dressing all on one bun) Truth was it lived up to its billing! So many different flavours going on and the size, struggled to finish it. Didn’t have or need chips. I know it Sounds disgusting as I was unsure but somehow it works (if not a bit glutinous lol) Also a tad expensive at £6:50 but it is what it is. A meal. Probably wouldn’t get it every time but made a change from the usual F&C stuff. Wouldn’t mind other burgers on rotation. Maybe a surf and turf if that was on the menu im sure would be a hit.

Got order wrong corrected them really clearly- got the order out at home & it was still wrong! Worked out that we’d been charged for the additional items we didn’t order & provided clarification on. Maybe an off day but still not good. Cannot fault the food though

Superb fish and chips. Beautifully cooked cod in a light, crunchy batter; super fresh chips. And a third of it is now in the freezer because the portion sizes are great.
