Lovely community park coming back alive as we leave the COVID restrictions behind. People walking dogs, cycling and playing tennis, bowls and football… a beautiful space.

We visited with my 7 Yr old granddaughter. The play facilities and outdoor gym were good. We didn't explore much more though we will next time. I was saddened by the amount of empty booze bottles and general litter scattered about so I cleared some near a bench and next to the bike park. The area would be much nicer if more people took it upon themselves to do the same. Not ideal I know, but if you want your little ones to have a cleaner place to play in then don't expect a lone street cleaner to cope with the amount of mess underage drinkers leave each night.

The park is great. The cafe / golf shop could do so much better if they had more stock and a better coffee machine.

This is a beautiful park, with football and cricket pitches, a croquet lawn, tennis courts, outdoor gym, kiddies playground, the footpath is also marked for runners. The park looks well cared for. There are wilder areas with bark paths, which are excellent for nature trails. The park is dog friendly. There seems to be adequate parking, and there are public toilets. It's a shame the cafe seems to have closed; I would have thought it would do very well, particularly if it was smartened up.

Large free parking area. Lots of flat grass to rest and play on. Walking paths. Surrounded by various sporting facilities. Toilets that are open 8am-8pm April till September. Close at 4pm in Winter. Good place for picnic or dog walking.

Keep fit equipment going to this park for 40 years It's not in as good state of repair as it used to be the pathways are all cracked by roots The grassed areas are well kept but the building area with the shop are not in a good state of repair Childrens play park is lovely bmx, and the keep fit is good
