I went this evening for their soft launch and ordered the Chateau to share. I was very pleased with the food and drink and certainly would come back again. It’s evident the processes are just getting started but the staff were very friendly and had no issues with my order at all. The ambiance was great, music wasn’t too loud so I could actually talk to my partner and the decor and colour scheme does feel as though you are in a top end restaurant. They do magic shows every Thursday which is the night we went but we had just missed the magician but from seeing others reactions, sounded pretty good and a nice touch to add to an evening.

We had a lovely evening at the soft launch tonight. We ordered the monkfish & the tuna for mains and it was definitely some of the best food & cocktails we’ve had in Chester! The restaurant had a beautiful feel to it & the staff were all very lovely. The magician in particular was excellent & it’s well worth coming on a Thursday when they perform. We will definitely be returning!

Came in on the off chance today as it was Bank Holiday weekend. Could not recommend this place any more, absolute amazing service from Jess and Matt. Had a lovely bottle of Cheshire cat IPA and an amazing roast dinner, never had one like it. Beautiful restaurant with amazing staff would recommend SIXONESIX to anyone who's in Chester.

We visited this evening for the soft launch. Great drinks, especially cocktails and wine list. Food was superb, did not disappoint. Would recommend and will be back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant last week. The service from start to finish was impeccable and unobtrusive. I tried the vegan menu and it was so flavoursome as were the cocktails that were on offer with it being a Thursday. We were entertained by a mind blowing magician and this added to whole ambience of the place. We can’t wait to return and hope to see even more vegan dishes on the menu. Thank you all for an incredible evening!

We went to six one six last night for a birthday. From the second we stepped in we were greeted with kindness. The food was amazing! The place is beautiful! We were entertained my a magician while we waited for our food. Also the owner Matt came over to check on us and get our honest feedback (which was good). Our server Jess (Big Jess) she must have been a manager or lead or something because the way she was making sure everything was perfect and guiding everyone else! She was truly what made our experience amazing, her banter her readiness to know what we needed before we did! She was so on the ball and worth her weight in gold. We will definitely return! Called in at the new Six One Six restaurant in Chester City Centre on Pepper Street. There was some outside seating and a waterfall under the new sign. Inside is large and modern with low lighting. We sat down and ordered from the main menu. I had Eggs Royale £9.50, it was excellently cooked by the chef, and served in a friendly style. They take cards and cash no problem. Overall it is a very well run operation.

One word for it.... Fantastic! Decor, and atmosphere was perfect. Food was amazing. Cooked & presented beautifully. Have to call out the Miso Carrots and the Petit Pois in garlic. Squid also. Went for a Primitivo to accompany. One of the best Primitivos we've tasted. The steak was cooked perfectly, as was the Miso Hake. We don't normally order desert. But, after seeing the Peanut Butter cheesecake... Beautiful. Our waitress, Niamh was brilliant. Attentive, but not overly so. And prepared (when we wanted) to be chatty. A great thing if you like it. All in all, one of the best meals we've had.
