My
first
visit
to
this
lively
new
market.
It's
more
a
place
to
eat
and
drink
than
shop,
but
there
are
some
traditional
market
stalls:
a
butcher,
fishmonger
and
deli
just
inside
the
entrance,
two
or
three
nice
plant
stalls
and
a
few
other
non-food
stalls
that
include
gifts
and
fancy
goods,
affordable
prescription
glasses,
phone
repairs
and
doggie
accessories.
There
are
still
a
few
empty
units,
so
hopefully
there
might
soon
also
be
a
few
of
the
clothing,
footwear,
homewares
and
book
stalls
that
are
so
missing
right
now.
The
food
offering
however
is
impressive.
There's
a
large
court
surrounded
by
street
food
outlets,
and
also
a
few
wooden
booths
if
you
prefer
more
privacy.
The
food
looked
and
smelled
really
good
and
there
was
plenty
of
variety:
Thai,
Mexican,
Bangladeshi,
vegan,
seafood,
pizzas
and
more.
Plenty
that
would
have
tempted
me
had
I
not
already
eaten,
though
it
was
so
busy
I
might
have
had
trouble
finding
a
table.
There's
a
bar
offering
a
wide
choice
of
alcoholic
drinks.
The
small
Chester
in
Lego
exhibition
is
also
worth
a
look.
Toilets
were
clean
and
accessible.
Before
I
left,
I
visited
the
Deva
Deli,
which
I
thoroughly
recommend.
Very
friendly
trader.
Bought
one
of
his
gourmet
Scotch
eggs
and
it
was
delicious!
Will
come
here
again.
