Absolutely fantastic hospitality by Sara & the whole team. A very Warm welcome. We even got to meet the main man himself the famous Chef (France) 🇨🇵 fransçoir That pizza he made for us was probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. Our waitress Sarah was great and really helped us out however we were really let down. We walked in the evening before the Chester marathon and what followed was disastrous. They forgot about my friends drink of Peroni. They didn’t know what chilli olive oil was and when we received it…well it was like chilli from a sachet had been mixed into a watery paste with olive oil. They forgot about bringing two water to the table (then when they did 15 minutes before we left they charged us on the bill £3 or so for a bottle/glass of water). The biggest let down was that I ordered seafood and my friend beef and we both got food poisoning… Sarah was fantastic and really helped get things sorted for us yet was really bad from start to finish. I hope it was a really poor nights service as reviews seemed alright for this place however was no excuse.

I recently had a meal here with family and friends which was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The service was extremely good and my risotto was absolutely delicious. I'm really looking forward to dining here again in the future

Went there on a date as a couple. Figured it'd be decent after reading the reviews. At first things seemed fine. The starter was good ( we got the arancini) and the drinks were lovely. The problem was the main and the service. The pizza was not too far off from a takeaway, only a lot more pricey. The service was very slow. We had to wait for 45 minutes for our main and over 15 minutes just to pay and leave ( after we had already gotten the bill). As a result of this all we left despite at first wanting to stay for desert. Personally I wouldn't recommend or come back to this place. Maybe they could work on getting more staff to serve their customers. The food was honestly not too bad, but it wasn't good enough to make up for the service.

Had a fantastic night here as part of my 60th celebrations. Amazing place. All the crew were great, but Leah was an absolute star and a credit to the business. Thank you.

Food is decent and not too expensive, the pasta is good quality although the desserts aren't as good - the ice cream cheesecake was a solid block and took a good while to defrost once served but OK. Service was very slow and they missed items off our order and had to be prompted, it took about two hours for two courses and we were mostly ignored and had to call for attention despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Wouldn't return due to this.

Very good food. Nice and helpful staff. Very busy and staff sometimes a bit stressed but always good to find a solution. Visited on Sunday evening, so half price for starter and mains for excellent food plus the bottle of house wine.

Group of 6. The young gentleman who I think was the manager was excellent. We have several issues with the food and drinks taking so long. This needs looking into.The quality of the food was just average. You can get better.

service was perfect. food was spot on, very authentic Italian. very nice atmosphere and couldn't fault a thing.

When they didn't answer we were worried it would be too busy when we turned up, thankfully they managed to squeeze us in despite being so busy. How grateful we are they did in the end, 10/10 delicious food, catered to awkward allergies wonderfully, you can tell they take great pride in their work and food here. Can't wait to come back and work our way through the menu.

Very disappointed. Food was OK, portions ridiculously large. Staff spent a lot of time talking close to our table. The waiter did not know what beers they had. It could be so much better, with very little effort.

Walk in on a bank holiday whilst stopping in Chester - 2 adults and 1 infant. Fantastic welcome from the staff. A couple of lovely cocktails and a delicious meal. I went for the lamb, which was beautifully seasoned and cooked. Dessert was a winner, too. Great atmosphere, and they make a great Negroni.

My friend recommended this place to us after having a good experience here. We were looking for somewhere to book for one of our friend's baby shower so we all decided to book here. It was the best decision ever, from making reservations at the restaurant to leaving the restaurant. We asked whether we could put out some decorations and they were happy for us to do so. The service we received were amazing, we had Aldo and Roma looking after us and they couldn't have been better people to. All the staff were so friendly especially Aldo, who've made us all laughed the whole time. The food were amazing, cocktails and drinks recommendations couldn't have fault it, beautiful restaurant, good value for money. Me and my friends have had an amazing time here and we are definitely planning the next trip to Bollicini for another amazing day out in Chester.

Lovely food every time. I have been coming to Bollicini for many years and their standards have never faltered. Excellent food and impeccable service many thanks. What a fantastic restaurant! From start to finish the staff and their customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for us, they really go all out to care for us. The food was amazing and very well cooked. Prices are mid range but you can tell it’s excellent quality. Would hands down recommend this if you are visiting Chester for a weekend.

Excellent food and a reasonable price with the deal we got for going on a Wednesday. The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were welcoming, friendly and good fun. Had all three courses, which all exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was brilliant and I would definitely recommend this restaurant, all around great experience.
