Had a brilliant evening for my birthday. Iqbal and his team couldn’t have been more welcoming. The food was absolutely spot on as well

Pizza express Chester is brilliant! We had a lovely meal and the service was second to none. The staff were very attentive and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend it to anybody in the local area searching for good quality food for all the family.

Pizza was amazing, and served exact as it was described! Spices and chilli were perfect and not exaggerated. Garlic bread was fresh and juicy. Our host was very polite and helpful with choosing the items. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for good quality pizza in Chester.

Good reliable food. You always know what you're getting. The only thing would be to add some spice to the spicy pizzas. Then 5 star. Staff polite and professional, good gluten free options. Good for what it is.

Amazing! Went there 30 mins before closing and they were still super welcoming. The pizzas were incredible. And they also gave us 2 free chocolate cakes! Best service and the best food!

Clean and efficient, what more can I say. Located down a street called St John Street near the Eastgate Clock and arch.

We just waited for 5 people to be seated. As we were about to be seated, the waiter loudly told us to wait and we didn't like his attitude at all. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Garlic bread, free dough balls with a herb butter dip. Classic Sloppy Giuseppe with pepperoni and to finish the meal (and me) the Honeycomb Cream Slice with salted caramel ice cream. Loved all of it, whether you're solo or in a huge group, highly recommend.

The waiter was really rude from the beginning of our experience there. He sat us down and immediately wanted to take our orders, even tho we didn’t had a chance to look at the menu. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The food was pretty good but the service poor. We tipped him and he didn’t even say thank you or goodbye.

Ben and the team helped me cater a work event today - we needed over 170 pizzas across a short lunch time. The team were amazing, everything was fresh and cooked on time. Ben was a huge help when planning, and helped make the process unbelievably stress free for such a large event. The team are catering for another 170 pizzas again for us this week too. Thank you!

A mid afternoon visit, lack of atmosphere because very few people eating. Possible just as well as only two people serving and one went on their break. However very welcoming and attentive. Food was as I've experienced before from this chain. The quality is fine but its not anything special. I guess you know what your getting.

Iqbal was amazing with our young sons when we stopped in for lunch. He was very friendly and explained everything brilliantly. In fact all of the staff in the Chester branch were fabulous and so was the food! Will definitely revisit.

Took a group of Australian tourists to Pizza Express in Chester, the service was fantastic, the restaurant staff were able to deal with the large group in an effeicient and timely manner, ensuring everyone was able to eat together. The group had a fantastic time, this meal was one of the highlights of their trip! Thank you to all the staff Xx

Friendly staff and the usual pizza express food quality. Good place to take kids. I really enjoyed my pizza and the kids ate all thiers too. Would go back if in the area. Pretty quiet when we went on a Wednesday afternoon around 430.

Super quick service, and super helpful staff. The pizzas were excellent, and pretty good value for money. Drinks were quite pricey, but that's fairly typical in most restaurants these days. Very convenient and would definitely go again.

The staff were bery friendly and helpful. The manager was very good showing us how to use the pizza express app and getting the most out of the vouchers on offer. Will definitely go back again. Pizza was very nice too.

Possibly the worst pizza I've ever ordered. It arrived in 30 minutes but it wasn't fresh. It was cold and rubbery, almost like day old pizza heated slightly in the microwave. If you are ordering delivery, there are much better options. This pizza was inedible.

Incredible service. I'm always happy whenever I visit this pizza express, all the staff are absolutely lovely, the food is always perfect. Iqbal served us this time and was very helpful. Couldn't recommend this place more!!!

Had come in for a quick bite to eat and the staff are very welcoming. My waiter, Gino was lovely and helpful. There was a lady there too, Jenny, who i assume was the manager. She was nice too! The food... the food was yum! Definately recommend the calzone Nduja, this is a meat dish

Family lunch at Pizza Express for 12 people. The food was great and we were extremely well looked after by Iqbal. Will be back again soon and would recommend.

We are regular customers of pizza express for Many year's and when ever we are away on holiday we always have a meal in the pizza express before we leave. today we were in chester and booked in with Iqbal there were 8 of us 3 Adults and 5 Children he had so much patience with the children and very helpful and friendly too,the pizzas was cooked just as we love them too keep up the good work and will see you again very soon

I feel really bad leaving this review because it aches me_ It has nothing to do with the food but the customer service. Or the lack of. After walked in, we asked for a table of two and the gentleman pointed to a table at the entrance of the door. I politely asked if we could have a seat a bit further away from the door as it was cold and wanted to stay warm. We were told that we could not sit anywhere else, in a total empty restaurant. What really got me isn't that we couldn't sit have a seat where we wanted but rather the way the man behaved. We left immediately. A waiter has only one job and that is to be pleasant. If you can't do that, what else can you. I shall never ever go back there again.

Lovely food. Great hostess, she really looked after us well. We had our food and drinks delivered quickly and the water replaced often without needing to ask. Not too bust as it was a Monday. A lovely meal out.

Cozy environment, lovely food and a new lunch menu with delicious pizza wraps for a good price. Never disappointed in Pizza Express and our visit here continued that trend of good eating experiences.

This particular pizza was one of the most memorable in my life. They seemed to get everything right with this one. I get the American with an egg in the middle. The bread / crust was the perfect consistency of soft and crunchy. Something about the tomato sauce seemed like it was freshly made by a grandmother that morning. The size and crunchiness of pepperonis are brilliant. I wish this chain was in the US.

Average shop. Nice people and service but awful, thin sparsely topped pizzas, and a bit bland. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Good food, nice atmosphere but felt as if the staff were constantly watching or standing over the table ready to take your plate.. felt a bit uncomfortable.. three course meal for 12.99 was a great price but customer service needs to be improved

The place had no atmosphere and the pizzas were no where near as good as they used to be. The base was stodgy rather than crispy, and there was calamari left for starter. All in all, a big disappointment.

Great atmosphere even during COVID-19. The food was excellent and staff were very friendly. Its very good that pizza express are still doing unidays discount when so many other chains have dropped their discount. Shoutout to the manager Lyndon, we had a great enjoyable evening and will definitely come back! Just fix the tap in the Gents toilets so we don't get soaked when lifting the tap too far 😁

Lucky to get a table around 6pm without booking. Really good friendly service. Great pizzas and good vegetarian/ vegan choices.
