Nice racecourse,relatively small racecourse but very well laid out. Strict dress codes. Plenty of places to eat from burgers, pies, Asian food. Would absolutely go again. Especially when the weather's good.

Got free tickets so went along. Wasn't really looking forward to it but it was alright in the end. Beginners luck at the bookies so that was a bonus. £3 for a bottle of water though. That's a bit steep mate. It's free from the sky.

I walk by this almost every day. I've never been inside, though. On race days, this place is lively and very cool. Lots of people and the place becomes very colorful.

This is the nicest race course in my opinion in England. Its clean. Its stylish. It serves good food. Plenty of places to get drinks from and put bets on. The view is good from various parts of the track. When the weather is good this place is a banger. If you like racing and a day out with family or friends this is the one to visit.

Excellent day out at the racecourse . Weather was beautiful , staff were very nice . It was very entertaining throughout the day . However the food quality was terrible . I had bought a hot dog for £7.50 and it was awful ! I understand that it is expensive to rent a stall at the races , however the prices are not justified for the quality (or lack of) of the food . I recommend better food stalls . Drinks are rather pricey too , but it’s what is expected from events as such . Would definitely return again , really enjoyed my time .

Came for the family fun day. Bit of a mess when trying to get in as the machine wasn't scanning people's tickets. This was at gate 8. Some staff seemed flustered but some were very good. First time here for anything like this or even watching the horse racing. Would definitely come again as we had lots of fun and my toddler enjoyed it. Happy with how they put out so many portable toilets. Never had to wait which is good. Parked really close and was cheap too.

Only went to park here but really nice and tidy course.would love to come on a day for the races.

Went in the Tattersalls enclosure. Weather was a bit hit and miss, but hey, welcome to the North-West. Went home over £250 richer, so a good day was had by all. Drinks are a bit pricey, so moderated my consumption (yeah, right). Would deffo go again.

Always nice to walk around the racecourse as a way to the city centre. Admittedly not the most direct route but certainly one of the nicest. It’s amazing to see views of the bridge we always drive over from a different perspective, though I wonder what is missing from the empty bays on the side of the bridge! (Answers on a postcard please)

I have never been here before & it's not too far away from where I live, but what a great local discovery! We now plan to go here a couple of times in the year, and the atmosphere here is fun! What a great day out to the races. 🐎🐎🐎

First time visiting the city and it didn't disappoint!!! Was fortunate to visit over the Easter Holidays and the racecourse was the best place to top it all, free parking btw❤ There was a food and drink festival happening in the racecourse so no horses during my visit, child and disability-persons friendly, I am definitely coming back. I can't stop talking about this place to my friends, on YouTube, Instagram because why not!! A total recommendation.

My last racecourses to complete the set, I loved it special atmosphere, well organised and has a wow factor, had tickets in county longroom great viewing of the races and easy access to other bars, only negative was my wife asked for a passion fruit martini in the bar, the lady opened a can and served it in a plastic pint pot and only charged me £8, 😀 up there with the best tracks I've been to, not the best card runners wise, but great day will be back asap

Fantastic time at the races, there are two dates left at the race corse for this season 31st September and 14th October last one, so everyone come and enjoy the racing and entertainment at chester it's brilliant.

Wonderful day out with excellent hospitality in the Winning Post, ran out of flavoured gin though so had to go into another area to get it.

The company I work for had the annual meeting here today the food was excellent and also the drinks and the meeting was informative too lovely to see all the staff you don't see all year great place to visit

Well organised, very hot but they were giving out free water which was very good. Lovely place reccomend going it is a good experience and a beautiful race course.

Stunning place! I actually was surprised at how well-kept and modern this racecourse is! Trilling experience to see the oldest racecourse in the UK. I would definitely come back some day to watch racing...
