Beautiful and peaceful park in Hoole, Chester. It's got bowling greens, tennis courts, basketball court and a children's play area. Great place to spend a sunny afternoon and then have a wander around Hoole itself for shops, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants.

This is my local park, absolutely love it here. Plenty of benches scattered around the park. Lovely adventure playgroup for families to bring children. Nice walking route for dog owners as well. Bowling green nice to sit and watch games, when they are on, or just sit and enjoy fresh air and watch world go by ☺️

A fantastic open play area for children, me and my wife take our Grandchildren here often. We use it our selves when out for a walk as well. It has tennis courts and a bowling green. A lovey place for young families and the old alike. I highly recommend...

A really nice park with some great climbing frames and slides, probably the best park in Chester in my opinion. All the children and parents we have come across here seem to be considerate and polite. Lots of benches for picnics and on a sunny day, this place is great. It can get a bit busy around 3pm, and on weekends, but it's understandable considering the high quality of the park. Car parking can be a little tricky, but on-curb parking on the adjacent roads generally work well. The large gassy-park within which the play-park is nestled is also very nice and perfect for kiddies to scoot or learn to ride a bike. Our kids always have a great time here, highly recommended!

Someone needs to advertise the wildlife restoration project exhibits in Alexandra Park! It's a template that surely should be a no brainer for councils elsewhere to export to their own public spaces, all while doing a solid job of raising awareness for the crucial role a lot of insects play in maintaining verdant greenery around us. Excellent local park
