This is Chesterfield's all encompassing park, offering a wide variety of activities that cannot be found elsewhere in the county. Most of the amenities in the park are well maintained, though the park as a whole is a little bit outdated. The Nature Center is worth checking out if you're lucky enough to be there when it's open, and the trails are well marked, suitable, and more prevalent than most systems in the county. Unfortunately, the pond on the far side of the park suffers from overfertilization and lacks very many good viewpoints along the adjacent trail.

Very nice park that has workout stations every 1/4 mile or so on the main paved route. Many gravel routes throughout that spiderweb

I love to walk through here from time to time. The trails are paved though there are some that are not. The park is clean and has various outdoor activities. The playground is large and shaded. Just beware of the bees, bug spray is a must in the summer. The dog park is large and it even features an archery range that a lot of people visit. My favorite is the lake that you can find off the orange path. Definitely a 4/5 in my book. Mainly a 4 out of 5 because it’s easy to get lost on the trails. So be careful and pay attention.

It's a Great sized park, offering trails for bikes, walkers, and joggers. It's pet friendly and has a fenced-in dog park where dogs are able to run around freely and play with others, while outside of said area, pets are just required to be on a leash. There are basketball courts, baseball fields, and a large playground for kids. This is a nice place to get out and enjoy some fresh air with the family. That being said, I wouldn't stay too terribly late in the day. While the park is wonderful, unfortunately, sometimes people can ruin the fun and cause trouble, so just be aware of that.

Rockwood Park is an excellent place to visit! Lots of trails which are shaded with trees. There are a total of 6 baseball fields and 3 full sized basketball courts. They also offer multiple tennis/pickle ball courts as well. There is also fenced in dog park for your pup to enjoy. Check it out next time you’re looking for an outdoor adventure!

My husband and I love this park so many options that they have for outdoor activities. We love that they have a 1.5 mile trail that is paved so we can take out son in the stroller. They have several volleyball pits, ball courts, sports fields, q small dog park, and a play ground for little ones in the middle. We go here alot because there are so many pokemon spots for us to walk and play for hours.

Didn't explore alot of the park due to not having enough time but im satisfied with time I spent there. Nice size dog park but I wish both yards were open to use at the same time and had more shade available for humans. Also, I think it's awesome that they have a small dog yard for owners of smaller dogs that may be nervous about letting their dogs loose with bigger dogs.

Nice park! My friend and my dog and I really enjoyed the trails. We went early afternoon on a Sunday in October. The dog park was meh, but Sunny isn't really into other dogs or closed in rectangles, we go for the people, he loves people. The sports fields were crazy busy but you'd never know it on the trails. Very peaceful with not many people. Trails range from asphalt to natural, and pretty hilly until you get down to the pond. Nice selection of native plants, though scarce. Fun to watch people enjoying the archery range.

The kids had such a great time here. It was pretty clean. Though there was one broken swing, the rest of the park's equipment seemed to be in good condition, will be going back! Would definitely recommend!!

Great place to have a run, walk, or play on the play ground. There is a dog park that is one of the best in the area. Archery ranges, paved and unpaved trails. Plenty of picnic areas with our without shelters. Baseball fields, basketball courts and very busy pickleball courts. Restrooms are available with water fountains. They have changed the traffic pattern so pay attention. The road around the park is only one way. The inside lane is for walkers and bikes.

I always forget about this park, probably because I've heard bad things. Thus is my 3rd time there hiking and I loved it. There were no problems, I felt safe, it was well kept and super convenient.

This park offers a variety of activities. It has trails for walking & running, a dog-park, and a palyground for kids. It also has a baseball/softball field and a basketball/tennis court. It has been maintained fairly well.
