We were recommended to use this takeaway as we visited the area and we read the reviews and were a little concerned as there were some negative ones but we were glad we took the risk and ordered in, the person taking the order was thorough and read it back to us to confirm, we were told 1hr and it turned up bang on as expected the delivery driver was polite and cheerful and the food was excellent and we'll definitely use them again when we next visit.

I'm so glad I discovered this Chinese food takeaway! The menu has options for everyone, including vegetarians. Their vegetable chow mein is packed with fresh veggies and the noodles are perfectly cooked.

We usually order from Peking Palace as the food is really nice but on the last few occasions delivery has been really late to a point where I've had to call to So where food is. Each time it's the same response "oh my driver is already on his way" then 20 to 25 mins later it arrives when its only a 10 minute drive to our home. Granted we could have driven to collect twice in that time however we specifically paid for delivery. Staff not really apologetic. I don't think we will be ordering from here anymore.

Order from here quire regularly but the last few times deliveries have taken a long time. Placed an order via there website last night and received a confirmation email at 8pm to say delivery would be 9.20pm. waited until 9.30 before we called at which point they said they were only just starting to cook it, when we pointed out the order had been placed at 8 they appeared to not realise like the order had been forgotten and simply asked if we still wanted the delivery or not as would be around another 20 minutes. Didn't really seem bothered. Considering we had already paid as has to be done via card of course we wanted the order as they had taken our money but pretty appalling service, not even a sorry or anything when it finally arrived nearly two hours after it was placed!

Food cold & egg fried rice was bone dry like it had been sat for a long time. Salt and pepper chips were just chips and the chicken ball batter tasted like it had been round chesterfield on a Thursday night. Pack of prawn crackers contained between 10 - 15 crackers which is diabolical to say they just chuck them in a bit of oil. Very unlikely I will come here again. Good points: delivery took about 15 minutes. Couldn't understand why food was cold though?

Dry BBQ Spare Ribs Chips & Satay Sauce. Didn't expect such good and tasty food. Absolutely love it. Spare Ribs are juicy and the Satay Sauce is creamy and delicious. Highly recommended. Will definitely comeby more. 😋

First time I've been here , never again , only had chicken curry and fried rice , curry was bland and rice was under cooked , it was still hard , so dissapointed

Was very excited when got home and saw that the spring roll was hand made not one of the normal ones you see from Chinese takeaways. Big, fat crispy on top. Soggy, underneath, bland and undercooked on the inside. So much promise. Failed to be realized. Bit like my school report. The rest of the food was under spiced. Cooked nicely. But not memorable. Unfortunately, the soggy, hand made spring roll was.

I am so disappointed. I have been ordering from here for a long time. I have been happy with the food for 98% of the time Tonight however, I had a delivery driver that spoilt my relationship with the restaurant. I was covid friendly. I answered the door in a mask, he didn't have one. I had my money in a freezer bag. He was suprised by this and i asked why it was a problem. He said i want the money in my hand. I began to take the money out of the bag to give it to him. I said i can't believe you are making me do this. He said I can't believe you are using a bag. He dropped some of the coins on the floor. He asked is it all there, i said yes, plus a bit extra for you, which i now regret giving you... he replied do you want it back. I was so astonished that I said bye and shut the door. He was rude, arrogant and really disrespectful. I felt intimidated. Over the years I have had lovely delivery drivers. If this guy doesn't want to do it, there are lots of people looking for work that will make a customer feel valued.

First time trying out this Chinese as our usual one is closed, and it’s also the first time my meal had sweet and sour sauce put on it already, which I prefer to put on my self, the chicken skewers & chicken balls were very chewy, and the rice was very plain not much flavour as it had no colour either just pure white. Also our meal had came to around £16 and everywhere else we would have been given free prawn crackers, but we had to pay £1.60 extra for them. They don’t take card either which is really inconvenient. Very disappointed

Made an order at 5.44 arrive after 8pm Absolutely stone cold. Phones now off so can't ring. What a waste of £45.00

Honestly one of best Chinese around. Their Peking ribs are perfect every time!!!!! Really top delivery driver too! Took time out his day to call in and let us know this place had re-opened because he noticed we'd not order since their re-opening.

After reading the reviews, we didn’t hold much hope when ordering, but was very pleased with food and service thank you.

Got duck and pancake it was an edible it was so burned my daughter couldn’t eat it, I got beef in black bean and the smell and taste was absolutely vile, big disappointment after waiting an hour and a half, no answer on the phone so looks like we will have to bin it all
