Booked a self storage unit and then cancelled because my plans changed. I had paid 30 pounds deposit to secure it and cancelled VERY late. They refunded my deposit as a gesture of goodwill... Brilliant. Also, when I visited to look around I was very impressed. A very professional company, it seems to me. Rare to be treated well nowadays. Most places don't seem to care too much about customer service but this place does care.

I can't recommend J&R highly enough. Hired a Peugeot LWB van, that was in excellent condition, inside and out. The hire process was thorough, quick, efficient and the customer service given was excellent. John & Jasmine obviously care and enjoy the job they do and with respect it's a pleasure when as a customer you experience that level of service.

Good value van hire. Process straightforward and staff really friendly. Van like new! No hassle upon return unlike some of the big name companies.

Great company to deal with, very helpful staff. On our way to collect a van from Enterprise rentals we had a call to say that did not have the van we had booked. We Google'd van hire and J&R came up, we only had about 45 mins to closing time. A very helpful lady called Jasmin helped us to hire a vehicle all very last minute. Good prices wiuth great service.

Was about to pull the trigger on big firm van hire for a house move. Glad I didn’t. Hired a Luton with tail lift from J&R and it was quick, easy and seamless. Staff are really friendly too.

Very friendly and professional, easy to get paperwork etc done online. Van was good as new. (Parking sensors would be a big benefit though, especially on the huge transit i rented) Will definitely use again as and when i need a van.

Hired a van to move house, I had a small issue (my own error) when I arrived to collect vehicle which John sorted out straight away. The Luton Van with tail lift that I borrowed was immaculate and instructions on how to operate were easy to follow. Overall faultless experience

Hired a box/luton van from here for a few days. Faultless service, van was ready for me to pick up at 8 am, clean, full tank and road ready. All staff were cheery and helpful, making picking up and dropping off a breeze. Will happily recommend and use them again for any van hire I need in Chesterfield. Top class, keep it up J&R.

Can't say enough good things about J&R. The staff are friendly and helpful, the storage units are clean, dry, secure and most importantly accessible. The rates are competitive and the many different sizes mean you can store anything from the contents of a house to a couple of suitcases. A lift and plenty of free to use trolleys make moving belongings from your car to the unit easy. J&R also provide van hire, at rates that are more than competitive and unlike the main stream hire companies very flexible. I highly recommended J&R to anybody needing long or short term storage or van hire.

Storage space is inside a building, and divided into sub units, so it's not damp and no condensation to worry about.

I cannot recommend J&R storage highly enough. The building and the units are immaculately clean and well cared for. The trolleys and other equipment are maintained in good order and there are plenty of them. 24hr Access is easy with a personal pin code, yet it is also secure with CCTV and alarms. The thing that really makes J&R worth five stars is the quality of service from the staff. Every contact has been answered promptly, politely and with clear explanation by either Sue or Chris. No problems at all even when I needed an extra unit at short notice.

Cannot recommend J&R self storage enough, excellent clean units, 24 hour access is very handy. Have everything needed to help with a smooth move into and out of a unit. Rented a van twice, excellent prices and the staff are extremely helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them. Would definitely rent another unit in the future! Thanks guys. A*****

We hired the Luton with a tail lift, the price was very good at £65 per day. Nice clean van and quality service. They allow you return the vehicle up to 7:30am the following morning rather than the regular 8am to 5pm period, which most places seem to have for a single day hire. Will be using again :-)
