This one star is for the instore pharmacy! I actually don't know why I even bother to try and use them because each time I go I'm left standing waiting for ages whilst staff mill about without even looking up or acknowledging customers that are waiting. I always feel completely ignored and end up walking away and taking my custom somewhere else. Even some of the staff serving in other areas of the store agree that the pharmacy staff are rude and don't deserve the custom! Honestly, all they have to do is acknowledge a customer and use the simple phrase "I'm sorry about the wait!" It's basic customer service!

Wow this has got to be the dirtiest store in Chesterfield. I walked in this morning when the store opened and the floor was full of debris. The tiles were so dirty, with the dust like tumbleweed in the corners between the shelving. I am not sure who does the cleaning but this is a store that sells items for people's health and wellbeing it could at least be clean!

Boots pharmacy staff do such a fantastic job. They have more and more expectations piled on their shoulders and less help than is decent. I'm in love with my pharmacist (you know who I mean) often discuss her Mpharm studies whilst waiting for my reup. You're all hero's in my eyes. Don't know your names but you know mine x x x x

Long standing Boots customer, however today's visit not particularly enjoyable. Happened upon the same Boots "assistant" twice, once looking for facial products ground floor in the store and then by chance (bad luck) on the checkout. May have been having a bad day ? but not really our fault or problem,,,,

Asked a lady to help me find a contour stick for my shade, and she was polite and got me some yet never let me try it. I bought it thinking it would be fine but when i got home it was highlighter, i dont understand how she got them mixed up, they are two completely different things.

I tried to call to make an appointment for a holiday jab, but all I got was the automated service. I tried all the options and none of them worke, all kept saying that the person was not available then the message went back to the options again. How do I get through to make an appointment? someone tell me please, because this service is just garbage

Picked up some stuff from Boots for dad. Thanks for your service guys, if you need parking you can always park at the parking zone then walk across. You can also do a bit of market and M and S shopping.

Boots all the time offer wide range of different products and services. For most of illnesses and sicknesses you will find a medication. Big hair care department as well as baby/toddler department. Staff are always nice, welcoming and supportive. Prices are vary, so for any budget you will find something. Great location and working hours. Only pharmaceutics in area working over the weekend.

Excellent staff, especially in pharmacy that are doing there upmost best on minimum staff and having to cover other staff members when they are on holiday. I saw how hard they work there and appreciate they are doing there best.

Pharmaceutical counter here is chronically understaffed. I used this service a few years ago and have tried not to use it again. However I needed advice from an assistant and so was prepared to wait. This is the Marie Celeste of the retail sea. Two customers in front of me left without seeing a soul. This company is profitable enough to staff it’s counters especially where drugs are stored.

Took an age to pay because there was no one at the tills to serve customers so you at to go the the beauty stations to pay and the staff didn’t have anywhere to load bags. Absolutely ridiculous, I work in lean manufacturing and goes through me seeing staff wondering around not doing much when they could be serving customers at actual tills. No sign of management

Good selection of high quality products, friendly helpful staff, but this store is looking very very tired these days and needs a complete refurb

Pleasant and helpful staff. Like all Boots stores, there's a 3-for-2 offer on all vitamins and supplements (and ther has been for the last 20 years, at least!)

Brilliant pharmacist took time to show me a range of products concerning my condition, explained the differences, the pros and cons of the various preparations, went over the active ingredients etc. and between us came up with the correct solution suitable for me. 10 out of 10, good work Boots, keep it up.

Contacted the store direct in search of a foundation and hydrating primer in the cosmetic department. Sarah (cosmetics) who answered my call was very helpful and went to search for said items. She put these by for me to collect later. When I arrived at the Chesterfield store having come from Nottingham Sarah was there to help. She was very professional and helpful. I tried to do a review via Boots website but found the process unhelpful.

Lovley store generally, have a lot of nice stock in, while the beauty ladies are often friendly, when ur booked in for a makeover, not so friendly if your casually shopping, not very helpful, one perfume lady too in particular made me feel like a shop lifter, constantly staring especially when the security guy was doing the same, very uncomfortable, then got to the till near the opticians and all the ladies would talk about whilst serving me was when they were going to go on a break and how tired they are to each other, whilst serving! Which I thought was very rude! Didn’t get any eye contact, no smile(didn’t have masks on) hence why I could see this, overall bad experience today! I used to work for boots and this is a constant reminder why I don’t now, could not stand the rudeness and everyone complaining all the time, do not expect it as a customer! Boots used to pride themselves on customer service! It’s looks like not any more

When I phoned to ask for a prescription for my mother, female answered with attitude, not good especially when on this occasion my mother is not well. I don’t expect this from so called professional people, period. Change the attitude or I will make a formal complaint next time.

5 star review necessary for an impromptu visit to the cosmetics department recently which resulted in what can only be described as a true shopping experience (thank you to Sarah, especially). Not one to give reviews generally, I wanted to praise the team for their exceptional advice, friendly approach, and patience, as they ran through new options and makeup tips geared towards achieving my stated 'minimalist' look. I was not pressured to buy what was on offer but was sold on the confidence in the product range exuded by the staff. In addition, I appreciated being offered tester pots through which I could trial their more expensive products before buying. I am delighted to say I am completed hooked on the Lancôme Cils Booster Lash Activating Serum and Hypnôse Mascara I purchased which gives the natural but enhanced lash effect I was after. Thank you girls for what became an unexpectedly uplifting experience - one which left me feeling valued and excited about my new purchases.
