So much to see here and a very nice size zoo for families to walk around. Large enough to have good variety and some of the big major animals while also being small enough for kids to walk around without getting too exhausted. Love that the zoo has wolves, snow leopards, lions and a tiger. The Komodo dragon was a big hit also. Very well worth a visit. An added plus is the kids play area that is outside by the restaurant.

Die meisten Tiere werden in zu kleinen aus meiner sicht trostlosen Gehäge gehalten. Es gibt keine oder nur kaum Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für die Tiere Ich finde die Haltung von grossen Raubtieren sehr fraglich und bedenklich. Insbesondere bei den Löwen, den Tigern, den Bären und aber auch beim Stinktier den Wölfen oder den Schnee Leoparden und oder den Aras. Die Aras können im Gehege nicht richtig fliegen und weissen teils komisches Verhalten auf. Das Futter der Löwen sieht alles andere als apetltlich aus . Ich hätte sogar die behauptung aufgestellt , dass das Fleusch nichtmehr geniessbar ist. Die Fassanen drehen sich teils im Kreis und sind sehr nervös. Das Stachelschwein machte einen kranken äusserst beklemmenden Eindruck auf mich, dies machte mir echt weh im Herzen. Ich würde es besser finden, wen man sich auf domizierte Tiere begrenzen würde, denen es wenigstens halbwegs egal ist, wen sie Tag ein Tag aus von Kindern angeschrien und bestaunt werden. Ich werde mich zukünftig aktiv gegen den Besuch von Zoos aussprechen, da hier wie auch sonst an den meisten Orten mit Wildtieren eine Idile vorgegaukelt wird, die keine ist.

Ein toller Tag in diesem kleinen, naturnahen und nicht überfüllten Zoo. Schade wurde uns nicht von Anfang an das Kombi-ticket mit dem danebenliegenden Tropiquarium angeboten !?! Äusserst freundliches Personal und gute Parkiermöglichkeiten und mit bedacht das eine oder andere herzerwärmende Erlebnis mit diesen wunderbaren Tieren. Ansonsten wird der Park laufend sauber gehalten. Das Restaurant wie auch Teile der Gehege bedürfen jedoch einer Teil-Sanierung. Die Tierhaltung an sich ist leider nicht überall Artgerecht möglich (wie in allen Zoo's weltweit), was z.T. zu verhaltensauffälligen Spezies führt. Der Kinderspielplatz ist rege besucht.

Ein wunderschöner Zoo für die ganze Familie Schön angelegt mit viel Sitzmöglichkeiten, Spielplätze für die Kids einfach schön.Dazu noch viele Gratisparkplätze. War im August dort und freue mich auf baldigen Besuch.

Servion Zoo is situation near Jorat forest. It jas over 60 species of animals. We went during COVID days, so it was a bit gloomy but worth a visit on a good sunny day. It is in woods so on cold cloudy day can be a struggle. The zoo has a restaurant with children friendly services; such as high chairs and changing area. The terrace is lovely overlooking the Tiger's cage. Plenty of picnic options in summer. There are some excellent eating options a few minutes away from the zoo. Spacious parking area. Overall nice zoo but it's quite old, so bit run down, especially the children's play area.

I loved that they made everything possible for you to see the animals in every angle, even if they are resting inside their caves. The snow leopards and wolves were my favorite. Both are besides each other so if you could see them, just wait a bit in a bench near by and they will appear waling around eventually. Huge parking lot. Zoo's are always creating ethical questions so this review is not pro/contra zoos but rather how this particular zoo is maintained. And unfortunately this did not go well. The cages and in general environments for the animals are way too small. On some animals you definitely see they are not doing well (especially the reindeer). The bear cage is probably the biggest one, they seemed to have received the "best place" in the zoo and seemed to be doing ok. The cages were not very proper, seemed not very well maintained.
