Free entry and parking, the plants were absolutely beautiful. It was small but wonderful. It is climate controlled to allow for the growth of tropical plants, all of which are well cared for. The gift shop was also small, but had a bunch of cute things to get. Definitely recommend going if you're in town. It could be a cute date place, or a quiet spot for reading. It is humid, but not bad.

WOW! So Impressed! Visiting my family in Greeley, CO from Las Vegas and we decided to drive up to Cheyenne for the day. I've been to the botanical gardens in Denver and in Ft. Collins. First one was too big, second one was too small, but this one was just right. The indoor atrium is so nice with the banana tree and the turtles and a great relief from the almost 100 degrees it was outside. Such pretty flowers all around. Not sure how much the Barbie movie paid you but seemed like all the flowers were somehow pink. The area outside was nice as well. The gardens in the back with the herbs and trees that reach out to the lake behind. The area in the front with the bond and water features. And the Archimedes screw was a nice touch of education. All of that and more and to top it off it's all free. I have yet to not be impressed by a visit to Cheyenne.

Beautiful place to visit if you are just passing through. ITS FREE! first Botanical gardens that I’ve ever been to that is free. Did you ask for donations but it’s totally worth to throw a few dollars in their plastic jar. I walked up the three stories of plants and went outside to the children’s area and even got a chance to do a tomato class at 4 PM today.

Definitely come here and walk around the three floors of tropical plants. Great little garden setting and also outdoor plants to look at. See if you can find the beautiful bird that I took a picture of.

Its a great little indoor botanical garden in the Cheyenne city. Good for kids and grownups to see some very basic tropical trees and flowers. It’s good for some weekend trips with kids. It’s free to enter and they have space for hosting events. Wish they many more exhibits

This is such a beautiful place to stop. We were here in November and toured the inside. Now again today in May on a day it was closed but we still enjoyed touring the outdoors areas. Cheyenne is very fortunate to have a botanical garden. I envy the people who get to propagate and work with plants on a daily basis. You have the best jobs. 💚

This place is a gem! The people of Cheyenne are lucky to have the children's area for sure. We stopped just passing through on a super long road trip & it was the perfect place to stretch, play & learn some Wyoming facts.

I absolutely love everything about the Botanic Gardens! I like to visit all of it several times a year because it’s always changing. The gorgeous grounds are a site that must be experienced! The Children’s Village (I have no children) is also a “must see” garden, even for an adult! I love it! The Conservatory is a beauty all it’s own! I love the Glass Show in Feb-Mar. Look for the fairy gardens! They inspired me to make one of my own! I’d love to see them expanded just a bit. Do not miss visiting the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens! You will not be disappointed!

Loved this place. It was a awesome experience and they even have a live turtle and birds. People were friendly. Learned something just astonishing about the plants around us. Even got a Christmas cactus from the shop! Edit due to the sign I forgot to mention: Btw I am not showing these photos for money. They have a sign in the front of there inside entrance. Saying something like this. This isn't a ad.

Absolutely beautiful inside the building and out. There are three levels inside and it's full of all kinds of plants and flowers, my favorite part was some of the artwork displayed in the gardens they allow professional photo pricing so you can use as a location for a photography shoot. Outside they have a little walking path and the children's village. My son husband and I have gone twice already we love to just look at the wildlife and gorgeous plants.

Amazing! There are so many types of plants to see, you could easily spend a couple of hours here! Great staff and wheelchair accessible, though you have to be careful of some of the door frames. Definitely a fantastic experience!

The Christmas lights were exquisite. Art works delightful. Orchids always fascinate me with their unique colors and variety. Thanks to everyone who took time to decorate the house. It was a wonderful tour. It was happy to see families taking time to visit.

Great place to visit! Visited in February on a Saturday after a snow storm left town and it was quiet and peaceful. A bunch of cool plants (some with flowers) including a banana and palm tree, we even got to see one of the two turtles. Would recommend and it was free!

No better place in Cheyenne where you can enjoy a day for free. That's right, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens are free to all that enter.

This botanic gardens is a lovely place to spend an hour or two walking around and enjoying the beauty of nature. We visited early in the year before some of the outdoor plants had grown and bloomed, but it was still quite nice.

Lovely little place! It's free and we enjoyed walking the grounds. I'm really bad with plants but I'm learning and seeing what my plants might look like if I can keep them alive was nice haha

Wonderful botanical gardens! Did not expect to see banana trees, cocao trees, orchids, etc in Cheyenne WY, in October... It's free. I was pleasantly surprised. And the facilities are great! Restrooms and water fountains.

It was pretty uneventful, but it was free so I can’t complain. The staff was lovely and they had a Tel Aviv food truck out front! I would not have expected that in a small Wyoming town.

Beautiful display of flora of all kinds. They have a huge display of banana trees with leave 10’ long. Incredible. Three floors of unique plants. Huge jade trees, bonsai, cactus and a very nice water garden. Was raining the day we went so only was able to explore the indoors, but it was worth it. Being a free garden help. Donations accepted.

Super cute botanical garden that is FREE and open all year! Staff is very friendly, and the plants are very nicely taken care of. Some cool views upstairs and a nice place to stay warm in during the winter!

This is a beautiful place to go with both indoor and outdoor gardens. Great venue for attending workshops or getting pictures taken. The inside is warm and inviting, great for the cold fall days to soak up some green time. Definitely a must see.

Great gem of Cheyenne. Great collection. Don't let the small size- look from the outside fool you on the relaxing spirit of the Botanic Garden collection. One can get lost inside with the calming of the Plants. And in Winter when skies darken with Cold and Wind and Clouds, The Botanic Gardens is like a little getaway to warmth and green. [Photos are from grounds around/ outside the Botanic Gardens.]
