I
shop
here
about
once
a
week.
It's
a
small
neighborhood
market
stocked
with
fresh
fruits
and
vegetables,
meat,
a
lot
of
Latino/Caribbean
specific
ethnic
foods
and
spices,
some
alcohol,
a
bakery
and
a
hot
food
counter
in
the
back.
One
reviewer
noted
that
the
staff
was
unfriendly
and
possibly
racist
which
I
disagree
with.
I
am
a
Black
American
and
have
not
experienced
any
issues
in
shopping
there.
The
contention
may
be
a
language
and
familiarity
issue
more
so
than
race
related.
I
attempt
with
my
bad
Spanish
to
communicate
and
am
greeted
kindly
by
the
staff.
After
all,
money
is
green
no
matter
who
is
spending
it.
The
Rotisserie
chicken,
guacamole
and
beans
are
very
nice
here.
The
fruit
and
vegetables
are
not
Whole
Foods
quality
but
they
are
of
acceptable
quality
and
the
meat
is
presented
nicely
and
of
average
quality.
Milk,
eggs,
bread
are
all
fresh.
They
have
an
assortment
of
cheeses,
a
nice
small
bakery
and
a
liquor
section
with
enough
alcohol
to
get
you
by.
I
also
appreciate
all
of
the
little
Latino
knick
knacks
you
can
find
in
here
to
buy.
I
gave
it
a
four
star
rating
because
it
is
not
a
5
star
store
but,
it
is
relatively
clean
and
has
everything
one
needs
to
create
a
meal.
