Chicken is great but they are kinda slow. Curbside is a joke, they won't answer the phone so I had to go inside. That's not an exaggeration, when inside the phone rang almost constantly and they didn't answer it. I will come back but will skip the curbside option

Chicken is always cold and hard Tried again today. Chicken was soggy, warm on the outside and cold on the inside. I called. No apology, just bring it back and I'll give back the money. I'm not heading back there even though I live near. I just will keep my future business.

How is this place still in business? Cashier had major attitude as if I was inconveniencing her from her text messages. Place is run down and DIRTY!! The chicken sandwich I ordered had the HARDEST bun it was harder than a freaking crouton!!! I tried putting my nail in it and it didn’t even make a dent. Who in their right mind serves something like this? Complete TRASH! I worked at a Brown Chicken & Pasta teen and since there aren’t any by me, so I just had to grab my favorite sandwich since I was in the area. Came home and made a PB&J and was way happier! Heath Department please shut them down!

After an absence of about six months, I was eager for what I considered was the best Browns chicken I have ever visited. The employees were warm and friendly, The chicken was golden tan , flavorful, hot, fresh, cooked to perfection. The biscuits were golden, flaky, buttery and literally melted in your mouth and this is what I was expecting. What I got was new management, cold service, no deals advertised, dark brown ( close to burnt)hard , absolutely flavorless chicken that was fried in very old grease. The biscuits were double the size of the old ones, unbrowned, salty, raw and doughy in the middle salty and ghastly tasting. Basically hockey pucks. the mashed potatoes were dense with unmovable "Gel" that was supposed to be gravy. I spent $20 on three (the hard way) piece chicken,6 biscuits and a small lump of cement . To top it off they don't have any browns chicken bags anymore. Brown paper bags are stapled . Check before you leave please. Suffice it to say, I won't be buying from here ever again.I don't think this is a browns chicken anymore.

The gizzards use to be the only thing they can cook. But they can't even do that right now. I will drive all the way to Oak Lawn to get fresh , hot and good. I don't have to worry about old grease.

The one in Ford Heights, IL. I'd been there Friday and bought the Mushrooms an Italian Beef and a drink. The Mushrooms were over cooked, old and you could tell the cooking oil was too over used. The Beef was dry and tough. I decided to give them one more chance. So, after my cousins memorial service I stopped by to get a 2 pc. Dark and one pound of mushrooms. It was worse. They stank up my SUV and we're definitely cooked in old oil. I could not eat it and I will not be back. I went online to file a complaint and could not find contact info. I once loved Browns, I will have to find another one. They are not common anymore.

On two separate occasions my order was inputted incorrectly by the employee. I live 45 minutes away. I called the store to report it and both times they gave me a problem replacing the order . This last visit I was given old chicken that was horrible. They have terrible customer service skills and should be shut down.

The young lady that waited on me was very attentive. However, the quality of the chicken was poor. It was cooked in old oil and I got a piece of chicken that was spoiled . The floor at the restaurant in the area where you sit and eat was filthy. Did not look like in had been mopped in a long time.

Terrible experience. Paid nearly 30$ for 10 pieces of old dark chicken. What was supposed to be a pound of mushrooms turned out to be one half pound of mushrooms and one half pound of mushrooms and gizzards mixed. Service was ok order was wrong and seemed pre made.

The service was good. The restaurant is kind of run down. I don't care for their chicken but my family loves it. The Italian Beef sandwich I had was severely overcooked.

Me & my fiancé been coming here every other week since we moved around he in April 2023, Never had a problem til last night. We ordered a 10pc leg&thighs with 6 biscuits & a large fry & the only thing that was ok was the fries. The chicken was sooooooo hard that we couldn’t even eat it, it was like they they had triple dropped the chicken then the biscuits was even cooked throughly then they had the nerve to throw the uncooked biscuits straight into the bag not on a tray as we normally get it, So all the uncooked biscuits was smashed upon the bag. Last night was our last time purchasing food from here!!!!

I went through the drive-thru, so I have no rating for the interior. The order taking process was fine, and a very polite man took my order. When I went to pay, there was a turnstile lazy susan with plexiglass, and it was a little difficult to hear the employee, but still ok. I ordered mushrooms and chicken livers. When they arrived, they were HOT!! And, they were good. It had been decades since I had either, Brown's Chicken is just about extinct. I could tell that they don't use old grease because I had no adverse gastrointestinal reaction 😉 I know that is a weird determinant, but oh well!! 😳 I will go back!

Mashed potatoes were okay gravy tasted like salt. And the corn on the cob was water logged. But the chicken was excellent!

Chicken over cooked, taste like chicharones. Mushrooms were also over cooked, they were shriveled up. Didn't get my two orders of coleslaw. Called them at least five times, no one answered. They weren't even busy. My order was food for five persons.

Chicken was absolutely disgusting it tasted spoiled. This location also doesn’t honor their hours of operation. They open when they want to open and close when they want to close! Please beware!

This Brown chicken was a total disappointment!!! The employees in the back were loud among themselves. Food dried out and most of all this place is filthy 😔. Just discussing!!!!!!!!

They sooooo slooooow. Ridiculously slow. Food was ordered in advance. Still had to stand and wait like 20 to 30 minutes. One older lady back there sitting on her phone instead of helping out and getting the line down. Never again.

My 3rd attempt to visit and purchase their products. On each attempt called thg o get a live person via phone. No one answered. Checked location and phone# for accuracy. Agreed with info in ad. Indicated open today and less wait time. Got there 11:30, one hour after opening time. Doors locked, lights on but no one visible and no one came to window the entire time. Several people pulled in back and went in but no one came to inside counter, opened doors or acknowledged my presence. This was definitely strike 3! Will word of mouth share my experience. Hope they read this and if they are not open on s UK nday, perhaps they need to re-do their Google info and check their phone!

I am one of the 25 black people that love browns chicken . It taste better!! Lol. Really like the biscuits best of all chicken joints.

The food is terrible. They give you old dried out and salty chicken and they don't give you enough portion sizes for your side meals and the mashed potatoes and gravy is extra salty and nasty and there biscuits are old and hard. There prices are way too high for what little they give you.

Kid behind the counter was flustered, customers were giving him the blues... He got my order correctly. Food was hot and fresh. Chicken was just as I remembered, biscuit was delicious. Restaurant was absolutely destroyed, didn't bother checking on the restroom.

My family and I have been going to browns chicken for years my mom even worked there as a teenager and I've never had a complaint until today worst food ever my gizzards weren't even breaded,so note to self not ever going back to the Chicago heights browns ever again.

Don’t Bother Stopping Here! $32 for an 8 piece with three sides. Only problem was, 13 minutes wait to get to the window, then he says 8 more minutes for breasts so I take all dark, then get home to overcooked chicken, dry mashed potatoes, really soggy green beans, greasy biscuits. But hey, the baked beans were okay.

I placed an online order for delivery. They had the courier sitting for an hour waiting for the food so she left. I’ve called 4 times to cancel the order and no one is answering! Worst service ever! 6/28 Rebuttal to the store’s response: The driver called me twice from the drive through to update me that she was waiting for food. In addition I made 10 calls to the store during open hours, so please do try to remove the responsibility from your staff. I also spoke to someone in the corporate office who advised I would receive a call from the owner which never happened. The only reason I received a refund is because someone finally answered the phone in the store. Your staff failed PERIOD.

Haven't had browns in years..basically they're almost extinct. The few locations I knew about closed. They're fried mushrooms are hands down the best ever! I can't speak on how the inside is because I went through the drive thru but I can say there was not a long wait👍
