I was very impressed with the quality of work Lester Lampert provides. My dog had passed away and I wanted his ashes to be placed in a piece of jewelry that I could wear so he would be close to me. David sketched a draft and within 15 minutes I knew that was it, no need to look further. He used a photo of Sebastian my dog and so the custom process began. As the craftsmen worked on the piece, David kept me up to date by e-mailing photos. He would ask if there were any changes that should be incorporated. When the necklace was finished, I was so so happy. I wear it all the time and keep my pouch next to my heart. I receive so many complements because it really is a beauty. This is, hands down, the best jeweler in Chicago. The ambiance in the shop is extremely elegant and "designer" while the service has the feel of the family shop Lester Lampert actual is. They are so accommodating and willing to spend all the time/effort that is needed to get your pieces done just right. My fiance designed my engagement ring with Fradine and I worked with her to design the perfect wedding bands. I am almost jealous that he got to have all of the fun the first time around without me!
