Highly recommended for a colorful stop in the city. It's located in the Willis Tower and had plenty of rooms to enjoy. I took my daughter on a Saturday morning when it was least crowded and we had a great time! Lots of uninterrupted pics and friendly staff to guide us. The tasting color room and ball pit were our favorite, and the audio partner room was my favorite. Can't wait to go back with more family 😄

This place was so cool! The idea of just mixing these great artistic color rooms with diffrent treats and all with the ability to take pictures the entire time to capture all the fun is just all genius. This is an absolutely PERFECT date night idea. Super fun and my Fiancee and I loved it!!!

Loved the experience. It's a one time visit for sure. Love how colors were translated into every other sense - taste, sounds, touch and smell! The final room filled with green balls is any child's dream. Go there and have fun! Extremely well designed and will take easily 2 hours to experience it all!

Honestly the exhibit is good but it is just too expensive. I think for adults it’s more worth it but even kids from 3-12 needs ticket that is almost full price (like $1 off?? Lol) there are at least 3-4 exhibit that is completely unsuitable for children 3-7 if not older… so it is not reasonable to charge young children essentially the same price as adults and not specify that they actually would not be able to experience several of the exhibits properly. The treats and candies were nice because they are packaged and don’t need to be eaten right away. Probably wouldn’t have gone with young child if I knew what was inside but I think two adults or older kids will be better. The ice cream was also very mediocre…

Really enjoyable and interactive experience throughout, you can properly immerse yourself for a good 1-1.5 hours here! Also good for solo travellers as you can appreciate everything on your own bar one of the exhibits. They offer snacks to complement the exhibitors throughout which are definitely welcomed! Many photo opps along the way which they send to you free-of-charge. The staff are very friendly and helpful too!

What a fun place. Fun around every turn, treats when you are done playing in each section. My daughter ran around like it was Lego land. Worth every penny. The free ice cream is worth it if nothing else. Now I will say the prices at the gift shop are high for even Chicago standards, to bad I would have loved some merch, rich folks only alert.

This place is amazing! So much more than I thought it would be. Lots of rooms for pictures and the staff really tries to immerse you into the world of art by explaining the artists vision of the room before you enter it. Also the free photo tags were perfect! I got so many cute pictures and had such and amazing time with friends! 100% would go again!

What can I say… THANK YOU!!! The color factory Chicago is an experience everyone should try!! Your senses will thank you and your inner child will be fulfilled with happiness!! They have free coat check in. If you are looking to take pictures they have a whole scan code thing where throughout the experience there are cameras where you scan a code and it captures the moments for you and at the end of your experience they’ll send it to you for free. The workers are amazing, helpful and kind. This place is a must!

What an amazing way to spend a cold and windy Chicago day. This place was amazing and had my four year old son entertained for hours. He did not want to leave. The ticket value is worth it! There is so much more to the experience than I even thought. This was after reading the details on their website. The experience members were all amazing and kind. I think what made it so enjoyable was knowing that i didn’t have to worry about taking photos or videos because of all the amazing photo opportunities along the way. Photos that are completely free! Unlike other places that charge crazy amounts of money for just a single photo. Excited to come back again soon

I honestly didn't think I'd like it at first because of the concept but it was an awesome experience. Lots of different rooms, snacks, things to do. Its different than anything else I've done and the memories are endless! I think I was here for 2 or 3 hours enjoying every room and taking pictures. While it is a bit pricey (about $45 when I went) you can find coupons to make a bit more affordable but every dollar was worth it. Definitely recommend going with good friends! It just makes it that much more fun.

My favourite thing I did in Chicago, by far. The fact that they set it up to take your photo at multiple points and send them to your email (for free) is genius. There were snack opportunities (not super vegan friendly), lots of fun experiences/sights, and even a complementary souvenir. The staff was nice and coat check was free. I really enjoyed my time here! Parking can suck though, so plan accordingly for the walking you'll likely be doing to even arrive.

I give this place two thumbs up! Staff are super friendly, every room was cool and entertaining, and not to forget to mention, you get macrons, jelly beans, pop rocks, taffy, souvenirs, and ice cream! You’ll need a partner for one of the stations. Used the spot hero app for parking across the street for $11!

My boyfriend and I went here on a date night. I have never been to an interactive museum before and this place just blew me away. It was self paced and lots of picture opportunities. It was interesting. It was fun. I would recommend this place for a date night or a family outing.

What an amazing experience. I was blown away by how cool this exhibit is and love everything about it. Every room is a new adventure. Lots of information on an artist and the Chicago heritage. Cool trinkets and gifts along the way as well.

You’ve never truly experienced color until you’ve visited The Color Factory! You will not only see color, but feel, taste, and smell it through hands-on activities in its many themed areas. We loved the music and in retrospect I am wondering if it was selected so you can hear color. Great for kids of all ages and adults, too! Many opportunities for fun family photos. Worth the money to experience it, but I’d definitely look for specials if there’s more than a few in your group.

Absolutely worth the price! Doesn't matter who you go with, it was an experience for all ages. A lot of collaborative experiences along with fun and knowledgeable ones. Would highly recommend anyone visiting the Willis Tower Deck, as the entrances are side by side. We got a lot of free souvenirs as well which was great and not very common anymore. Staff was helpful as well!

AMAZING!!! I had no idea there were professional cameras set up within the exhibits and the photos came out so amazing!! I’ve truly never felt more beautiful and happy in photos of me. My best friend and I had an amazing time and it was a wonderful experience for a weekend getaway to the city. I couldn’t have asked for more friendly staff and the whole experience was truly incredible. I would love to go back and I recommend anyone visiting Chicago to visit Color Factory

My experience here was much better than I had expected. There were so many different engaging activities throughout, and not just photo ops. First thing to note is that I decided to bring some family friends that don’t speak English; I was hoping it could be an experience we could enjoy together beyond the language barrier. It worked out fine. A few staff members spoke Spanish, and they had a Spanish guide that we were able to carry throughout the exhibits. There were definitely some nuances that the family missed but the entire experience was magical from the moment we stepped inside, and there were so many different kinds of treats throughout the rooms. All of your senses were activated! There were also plenty of activities for both kids and adults. One really cool feature was the placement of cameras that you could activate with the QR code and FREE download of your photos through email. The tickets were expensive for a big group, but we stayed and played in each room, spending almost two full hours inside. We got our money’s worth.

Great experience! My friend and I came here for my birthday and we had a great time with the photo booths. We came on a Wednesday so there wasn’t a lot of people and were able to enjoy taking photos without feeling rush. 10/10 recommend on a slow days.

If you saw Color Factory on a Tik Tok or on your reels and you're unsure whether or not it'll live up to the hype, let me tell you, it does. Color Factory was such a fun experience for my siblings and I. It was, as explained, an interactive experience that felt truly immersive. Color Factory doesn't just try to engage your eyes with the colorful displays and exhibits. No. Color Factory engages all 5 senses in the most unique of ways. It took my group of 4 about an hour and a half to get through the entire Color Factory. We had no real critiques for the experience. We had an absolute blast throughout! Make sure to use your QR code (that they'll provide at the start) for the unique photo ops throughout. You can pay for prints at the end, OR they'll just email you all of your pics for FREE! (Also, make sure to keep your phone secure in the ball pit area.)

Price is kind of ehh, BUT it's a cute little experience that both kids AND adults will enjoy! This isn't a "kids only/family" place either! My boyfriend and I were allowed to visit just fine. They have a neat system of giving you a QR code linked to your email that, as you go through the rooms, you can take as many photos for as long as you want and they will sending them to you FOR FREE and they'll stay there for up to 3 months! Also, along the way, they'll have you play a little "guess the candy flavour" game of poprocks, you'll get a little packet of jelly beans and be able to choose a macaroon cookie, get to choose one of five little gifts to take with you (I chose a reusable collapsible cup!), and a tiny ice cream cone that was soooooo good!!??! 😭 It was a honeydew flavour and I was hooked. The giftshop at the end is also FULL of cute colourful things! I wound up buying a handful of stuff 😅 Highly highly recommend!!

Very fun and creative! Super family friendly! Lots of yummy sweet treats throughout the factory and people in colorful coveralls to help you along the way, much like Willy Wonka! 😄 There are lots of little thing to collect so bring a small bag for your Color Factory collectibles!
