Menu is way too expensive for what you get. The Buenos Nachos were DELICIOUS and the sliders were also good too. But good lord. The chicken fingers? You get 3 (which were cold and tasteless) and then they are laid on top of completely cold, inedible fries? Do better! I was sold on the place (except for the way too high prices) but the chicken fingers really killed it (in a bad way).

Went in for drinks after dinner. Javier served us and remembered what my husband drinks and made me up something light on the fly. Great music and plenty of tvs for college ball. Dog friendly too. Giddy up!

The Texas Cheesesteak is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. We also had the blackened fish tacos - very very good!

Hurley Tap is a new name for a great location, they remodeled the front exterior for the better in my opinion. I like the huge window that brings the night light in and projects the great atmosphere to folks driving and walking by. I've been here twice under the new Hurley banner and I'm impressed on the difference Hurley makes, last place was more of a shot & beer joint with some ok food which is good if that's what you wanted. These guys have kicked it up a notch starting with the drink menu , nice cocktails and some the bar's own creations. My only opinion on the drinks is offer some classics like Martinis , Sangrias with your twists on them. Some on there now are good creations , but a bit strong or hard to drink. Besides that , drinks are unique and compliment your "AWESOME" food menu. I completely forgot that I was at a bar , typically you get a burnt puck for a burger and nothing really has flavor. Hurley has knock it out with the burger , cooked as good as it gets with great flavor and typically I don't eat a whole burger because of it's lack of any flavor and it's paper thin and the bun is stale with no fresh toppings. The steak with chimichurri sauce was outstanding and the steak cook great not tough and flavor bursts in your mouth. The fries you actually want to eat rather them being a waste. They have some desserts too, I know desserts in a bar right ? They offer a Root Beer Float I'm trying next month, but they have some Churros that take 8-10 minutes that come in a small beer mug with chocolate sauce on the side. The ONLY tip with these are they cooked ours a couple minutes longer than needed which made them a bit hard. The chocolate sauce soften them a bit , but if they offered whipped cream with the sauce on the side Holy Cow ! Warm Churros , Hot Chocolate Sauce & whipped cream would be a slap in the mouth of sweet delight. I will be stopping at Hurley's Tap as many times as I can every month because it's that good. The servers are really nice and really care about your experience, the tall blonde bartender , sorry I'm blanking on her name, but she has been awesome every time and was relatable and making sure our experience each time was special. My rating of 4 for atmosphere is for not seeing any games or juke box , I could have missed them or they haven't put them up yet. Recap: Awesome Service , Food , Cocktails & vibe , everyone should stop in for a bite and good drink. See ya soon Hurley Tap

I’m so happy this place took over the old Cortland’s spot. The atmosphere is an awesome neighborhood joint. The tv situation is absolutely ideal for catching multiple games. John the bartender has is awesome, makes a mean marg and a meaner old fashion. The food though, sheeeshhh, come hungry, leave happy. Get food here. Quesadillas are MASSIVE and so good. I think the best is their brisket steak sandwich. Where has this sandwich been my whole life. Currently on the specials menu, please make this a full time thing.

Went to The Hurley Tap on 12/5 and shared the Texas Cheesesteak & Baked Mac and Cheese with my boyfriend. Holy cow was the food incredible!!! The queso is also a must. It is zesty and spicy and delicious!! The service here is great and I am amazed that two men (one runner/busser/etc and one server/bartender/etc) take on the whole front of house!! Such a nice atmosphere & a great place to watch sports!

Love this new place! Have been twice so far: once right when they first opened (mid Aug) and they were still getting settled but happy to serve us (and were sweet and attentive to our pup w water and attention). We went again today w their full menu in service and I was SO impressed. The staff was very friendly and attentive and it was a really fun, lively atmosphere w Sunday football on. The food was the standout: so delicious, fresh and quality-not typical bar food. We will definitely be back.

Best bar I have been too yet in Chicago John is such a nice and friendly bartender. I definitely recommend going here if it’s your first time going out in Chicago.

Limited menu but food was excellent, maybe it's worth the tradeoff. Good tap beer selection, good TV selection and outside table seating which was nice. Was going to trap door theatre but will definitely return if in the area.

I had heard through friends that they really enjoyed Hurley Tap. I happened to be nearby the next day so I ordered take-out for lunch. The Hurley HodgePodge salad is exactly that: a huge portion of Romaine, green and red peppers, tomatoes, cukes, corn, black beans, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, tortilla strips and a lovely vinaigrette….one of my favorite salads in Chicago! Fried pickles and a Corona Light rounded out the meal. They have a small patio (patio is dog-friendly) and stools by the open air windows…friendly staff too! Give it a try!

Much improved experience over the previous establishment! Solid tacos menu, great happy hour deals, and great draft selection in a chill environment.

WOW. This place is incredible. Best fried pickles I’ve ever had. I was visiting from out of state and I will dream about them

HT might be the worst bar/restaurant in our neighborhood. I went for a burger and beer and received attitude from the bartender who couldn’t peel her eyes from her phone and a decent burger and fries that showed up 30 minutes after ordering. The manager realized it was a wreck but a fully comped meal doesn’t make up for bad service and apathy. I hope the other 6 patrons felt otherwise.

Great place filling in for the old Cortland's Garage. Had a very nice experience and the customer service was genuine including that of Javier the GM. They are really working to gain a loyal clientele and we should give it to them.

Hurleys Tap is great. They have a lot of TVs to watch any game. The drinks are tasty and the food is amazing. Love the tacos there. The workers are friendly and the GM is just as friendly. I can't wait to back there again.
