Great place for work and enjoy good Guatemalan Coffee. The owners are super attentive and detail oriented. Great ambiance! 100% recommended!

Super excited to have such a great cafe within walking distance. The latte and dirty chai were some of the best I’ve had. A lot of places have the dirty chai over spiced, but this was perfectly balanced. The concha was fantastic and a great morning treat. Can’t wait to go back! Edit: One year later and Café Calidá is like a second home. There is no friendlier and welcoming place in the neighborhood, and it’s truly a staple of the community. I’m excited to support them and hope that every else will too.

Beautiful cafe! Super clean and friendly. The iced americano was so good. My girlfriend and I’s favorite kind of coffee flavor. Recommend visiting to sit and study/catch up with friends.

We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Our first morning we came in when it was pretty busy. We got our order to go and it was ready quickly despite the fact that it was only the owner behind the counter. The next morning he even remembered our order from the day before! I could tell he cares about his regulars, the building, and his business. Wish we could make this our regular coffee shop!

The coffee is the best in the area. They have inventive drinks and are always adding new flavors to their specialty latte menus which you can get hot or cold. They have a spacious lounging area which is the biggest I’ve ever seen at any coffee shop. Everyone is super friendly, the owners clearly care about their product, and it is easy to get comfortable here with the ambiance they’ve set up. Amazing!!!!

One of the only shops that have good coffee tea and snacks and is not crowded. The owner is super cool. Good vibe, very comfortable 10 out of 10.

So glad to have found Café Calidá! Needed a box of coffee for a work meeting on short notice and Anton got it done for me no problem. The team loved the “freshness and taste” of the coffee. Any business owners in the Humboldt Park area I highly recommend supporting local and getting your coffee and treats from here. I will definitely be back!

The owners of Cafe Calida are so friendly and sweet to talk to, you can tell they really love what they do. My family and I all live in the neighborhood and love stopping in here and supporting a local spot. It’s nice to have such a lovely place to pop in for a tasty morning bev. Love the coffee... The calm atmosphere. I love this location!! The staff is always very kind and friendly. My order is always correct and great!! I appreciate the effort they make to connect with their customers. If you make many trips to purchase coffee and converse with the barista they will help you get it made just to your own personal liking! I appreciate that when I am paying that much for a coffee. The dim jazzy music soothes me after a good day of work while reading a book. Great place to unwind the day. Their stores are always clean and that is great during this pandemic! I will definitely continue to come here!

I was unprepared, I was expecting a teeny tiny cramped corner coffee shop but this place is huge, bright, inviting, and super clean. I was welcomed in with a big smile. I can't believe I have walked by this gem so many times.

Loved their café con leche and ham and cheese croissant. The space is cozy and perfect to work :) Will def be back
