I’ve been in here too many times to count and each time the food and drinks are amazing! Highly recommend the pizza, chicken sandwich, and their amaretto sours 👍 also can’t beat the full Irish breakfast and the fresh bakery items on the weekends!

Oh my gosh, what a gem! Recently moved to the neighborhood and absolutely love Wolfhound. I’ve been here for Brunch, dinner, and late night drinks. Each and every time the staff is so accommodating and kind. I tell everyone I know about the Irish music on Tuesday nights which felt like an outer body experience while eating the grilled cheese sandwich! The drink selection is great, staff is beyond excellent (and kind!), every time I go here I have a wonderful time. We are so lucky to live 5 minutes away. I could not say better things about Wolfhound! Chicago’s best Irish Pub.

Cute neighborhood bar with a classier side. Nice to see regulars walk in as well as families couples and even single people coming for dinner themselves at the bar. Weather was nice so the large window was open and they had fan running. Very nice wait staff. Here are my observations..good and the not so good. Good: welcoming and nicely decorated place was a big step up from just a bar. Food menu had some nicer items you might not expect to see at a bar like this. Clean place. Nice staff. Cheeseburger was really good. Pizza was great as well. The "meh": First 2 beers my husband asked for they didn't have. Waitress tried to offer alternatives, but he didnt like the substitute. Then he was offered a taste of a different one which was a nice gesture. In the end however, the waitress charged us for a beer they didn't have that he ordered at first, which was more expensive than the actual beer he was given. It was brought to her attention and fixed. I felt that the chicken fingers were over cooked (deep fried in to hot of oil) and same with our fries. Burger was a little bit on the smaller side for having 2 patties, but still was really good! Parking is kind of hard, not a big deal, but should be mentioned. Overall a nice experience, would probably come back and try something else on their menu.

Simply wonderful. I could not recommend Wolfhound more. Awesome little neighborhood spot with a great vice and some killer cooking coming out of the kitchen. Came here with a quick bite on Friday night with our baby and they were extremely accommodating, kind and we had excellent service the entire night. They take reservations, but you don’t necessarily need one. The Guinness was a perfect pour, and all good is made from scratch on site. They are even making their own bread and all continents. The Irish breakfast was one of the best dishes I’ve had in Chicago in a long time. The sausage is something I might even have a dream about tonight. We can’t wait to come back!

What a marvelous place with a cozy atmosphere. It was nice to also chat with Colette, Moses, and Shawn. They really know how to run the kitchen and the bar. Today was my first visit and I loved the Irish breakfast that I ordered for brunch. Every bit of the plate was so authentic and tasty! We'll definitely come back!

This place is amazing. Best new spot in Avondale. Drinks are always on point and the food is incredible. 11/10 for the food. Would definitely recommend the Cheese Curds, Adult Grilled cheese, pizza and chicken sandwich. The live music on Tuesday is the highlight of the week. All the events they do throughout the week are EPIC. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Spinach & Artichoke Dip is the go to along with a Strawberry Lemon Drop. Good food, great atmosphere and the bartender is so nice! I recommend this gem!

Great experience. Had a very nice night here. The service is awesome. Chicken breast is tender and juicy. Fries are crispy as **. Pizza is very impressive.

Very nice cute restaurant. Everything from food to drinks are mmm 😋 great! Also appetizers. I don’t like thin pizza 🍕, but this place has really good pizza even tho is thin lol. The service is wonderful. Forgot to mention their French dip sandwich 🥪 is Mmm awesome! Must try. They have homemade ketchup sauce. Fries exceptional great!

Met the owner Brendon and he was super friendly and personal. My family stopped in on our way to the airport and I’m so glad we did. Food was delicious, authentic Irish cuisine really made me feel immersed in the experience. Good prices too we definitely plan on coming back next time we’re in Chicago.

The pan-seared chicken breast is the best piece of chicken that I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The green beans and potatoes au gratin that come with the main course are great as well. I’ve already come back to eat and have a beer here. Awesome neighborhood pub

This place is very authentic but still offers some fun American twists! Maybe we just came on the right night, but all the workers had red hair and a thick Irish accent...how did they make that happen??

Excellent time. Service with a smile and a GREAT burger. The owner knows how to pour a proper pint of Guinness - how refreshing. Highly recommended. Nothing pretentious about this place. Everyone welcomed us, talked, and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely time.

Finally tried this place out and very happy we did. The food was very good, huge portions and unique flavors. Our server was great and the chef came out to be sure we were happy with our meal. Will be back for sure!

The full Irish pizza was really good. The crust was awesome and the toppings were not too much. The owners Brenden and his wife is a very nice people. They are testing out some catering options which I highly recommend hitting them up about. They are super and efficient. They even come to our events and cook on location.

Stopped in for dinner and couldn’t have been more impressed! We had the brussels, burger and pizza and everything was delicious! Great atmosphere too. Prefect balance of upscale bar experience with restaurant quality food. Will certainly be back!
