I
have
really
struggled
whether
to
write
this
review
or
not,
but
I
think
all
expectant
mothers
deserve
to
know
my
experience
if
they
are
considering
Lakeshore.
My
primary
doctor
here
was
great,
I
loved
her,
but
with
the
practice
you
may
not
have
your
primary
when
you
deliver.
When
I
was
admitted
another
doctor
was
on
call.
I
was
scheduled
for
an
induction,
but
I
had
begun
labor
the
night
before.
When
I
showed
up,
the
doctor
on
call
wanted
to
begin
the
induction
process
without
even
seeing
me.
She
actually
called
me
on
her
way
home
to
explain
why
she
was
starting
Pitocin
-
implying
I
had
no
choice,
no
say
in
my
treatment.
The
other
doctor
would
not
be
to
the
hospital
for
an
hour
plus,
and
she
wanted
to
start
me
on
Pitocin
(which
can
potentially
have
adverse
affects
on
me,
and
the
baby).
She
was
telling
me
this
on
the
phone,
so
my
husband
could
not
even
hear
what
she
was
even
saying
(she
called
on
the
hospital
phone,
which
did
not
have
a
speaker
option.
I
cannot
believe
how
unprofessional
this
was,
and
frankly
I
feel
she
put
me,
and
my
baby
at
risk.
It
doesn’t
actually
matter
who
this
was….because
it
is
just
the
luck
of
the
draw
who
you
end
up
with.
Ultimately
I
advocated
for
myself
and
held
firm
that
I
wanted
to
see
a
doctor
before
starting
Pitocin.
She
did
not
end
up
delivering
my
baby,
another
doctor
from
the
practice
did.
They
were
great,
but
the
heart
rate
of
my
baby
was
dropping
during
contractions…I
shutter
to
think
if
I
had
allowed
her
to
start
Pitocin
while
she
was
on
her
way
home
and
my
baby
was
in
distress.
I
personally
would
stay
away
from
this
practice
if
you
are
pregnant,
as
you
cannot
trust
all
the
doctors
there.
