This place used to call before John Hancock tower 🗼 but now name has been changed but still it is popular as John Hancock . I have mainly visited this tower for the 360 observatory deck which is super awesome 😎 and on top of that the tilt is even more attractive and thrilling and even though there is an extra ticket for tilt one should not miss it. It is not the tallest building in Chicago but still for the observatory I will strongly suggest going here because of the view. I will strongly recommend this place but make sure if you are going during holidays then you might have to wait sometime up to 3 hrs and it's gonna be tough in that case. Also I would suggest adjusting the timing in such a way that you can see both day and night 🌉 views.

Gorgeous Gorgeous views 😍 Once you get up her you can walk around and see beautiful views from all angles. It is a really wonderful experience. Get ready to wait in line a long time though, I think it is good to know and be prepared. We ordered tickets online ahead of time with a scheduled time slot. When we got there 15 minutes before our time slot the line was all the way outside. We thought this must be the line for people that don't already have tickets and a time, but found out everyone already had one and the time is more of a suggestion. We waited in line 2 hours. It was definitely worth the wait, if we had known we would have made this a much earlier stop in our day so I want to make sure to share it here 😊 It definitely is worth the wait for the views. There is also an option for an add on to do the tilt option which we didn't try but looks like a very cool experience. Must see at least once if you have the time!

We did the 360 Chicago view. They only have one elevator so it takes a very long time to get up to the observation area. We also did the tilt. The tilt was a lot of fun. Recommend you give yourself plenty of time to do this because you’re going to do a lot of waiting. Waiting to get up there, waiting to do the tilt, and even longer to leave. They don’t allow photos in the tilt area, even before you get on the platform to do the tilt. They do offer a photo deal that can be purchased after you’re done. The staff was very friendly, I hope that they can come up with a faster way to get people in and out in a decent time.

Formerly known as the John Hancock Center, architectural, this is one of my favorite landmark buildings in the United States. We didn't go up to the observation deck this visit, but we did get a number of great photos from street level. What an impressive property, a must visit landmark if you're in the area! The Water Tower is right next door.

If you’re in Chicago, it’s worth a visit. The bottom floor houses some additional businesses, including The Cheesecake Factory. Once you arrive on the observation deck, you can spend as much time as you like viewing 360 degree views of the city. Try the Tilt if you’re up to it. And stop at the bar before leaving for a cold drink. They are only accepting credit cards at this time, and they do offer a nice military discount.

This is of course the John Hancock building. I visited the Sears Tower or Willis Tower if you like, but I think the Hancock building offers a better experience. At the base there is a cheesecake factory restaurant, and a few other things, including a nice little plaza to hang out and watch the birds and of course the people. If you like my reviews click the little thumbs up, like!

The Observation deck on the 94th floor is a great way to view the city of Chicago and just spend some relaxing time either in the bar or other seating areas. I went on a Wednesday morning and it was fairly quiet. I did watch people take the tilt window option and it seemed over in a flash so not sure if it was worth it. No photos allowed in this area and certainly no time for any as far as I could see. The entrance in the ground floor is a rabbit warren with lots of history on the walls as you navigate your way to the lift. I imagine this would help provide some of entertainment when there are large queues. The bar looked pleasant and, as expected, drinks are at a premium price.

Incredible views from the Restaurant Level at the John Hancock Center - actual Chicago 360!! The Ladies’ Room also has an amazing view of Chicago from its huge window. It’s a free visit. So, you can go upstairs whenever. I recommend it a 100%. 🤩🥰

Visited the Signature Bar on the 86th floor on a recent visit to Chicago. Luckily went up on a day when the visibility was fantastic. The Signature Bar is free to visit and is a great place to have a drink, have some food and watch the sunset. Staff were polite and friendly. Food and drink is fairly reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Standing majestically against the skyline, the exceptional high building is a testament to architectural grandeur and human ingenuity. Its soaring height commands attention, and as one gazes upward, a sense of awe envelops the observer. The exterior, a symphony of sleek lines and contemporary design, captivates the urban landscape.

Amazing view... 100% ... But the place definitely needs some updates. Is. Old outdated... And a bit smelly... Check the picture i took in 2006 and 2021... Same place. Still the service is as well not more the 3 stars... Location and view makes this place to still shine

Great place for rooftop drinks, appetizers and world class chicago views. Careful on the drinks - they require everyone to order a drink which can cost around 10-30 dollars per person. But the servers do a great job despite being packed. Bring your special someone for a memorable date. Also when packed it gets noisy

We only went to watch the sunset over the skyline and it was absolutely breathtaking. Hands down the best view of the city. We enjoyed a snack at the bar and had some drinks, which were both fantastic, while soaking in that view. The BEST view is, oddly enough, from the women’s restroom. Pro tip 😉 If you’re ever in the downtown Chicago area, you’ve got to take in this view! I recommend going when they first open to avoid a long wait.

Really great place in the list of tall buildings to go to. Best views of Chicago but such a sad loss in the Signature on 95th clsoing down as it was the best place for brunch ever.

Visited over the Holiday -week as a family. We all enjoyed ourselves. Such a beautiful sight to see the city of Chicago lit up with the holday lights at night!

Beautiful 360 views! The windows facing west have a wooden staircase style seating area to watch the sunset, very nice. The bar side had lots of seating and drinks and snacks for the whole family. The goofy shop had a ton of great stuff. Husband did the Tilt, enjoyed it. We reserved 7 pm time, no wait at all to go up. Stayed up for 2.5 hours, it was that beautiful.

Wonderful experience in Chicago. I pre-purchased tickets through Viator for me and my son to do the 360 experience and Tilt. I was a little anxious leading up to doing the Tilt. Once I actually saw people ahead of me doing it, I felt more confident I could do it! Once the Tilt started moving I felt like I needed to hold tight to prevent myself from falling forward, but once I relaxed I was able to really take in the spectacular views! I would do this again at night. It was worth the $45.

Got to experience 360 Chicago here as well as parked here. Excellent experience all around! It was easy to access for parking, and 360 Chicago was so fun. Definitely recommend. It’s also in walking distance from so many other attractions.

Visiting the 360 observatory was a big highlight of our Chicago trip: it’s really good value for money, providing fantastic views of the city’s busy downtown and the lakeside areas. We could enjoy a fabuluous sunset from the tower. The “tilt” was nothing too special (I certainly wouldn’t call it a “thrill ride”) but nevertheless, was interesting to try. Plenty of restaurants, shops, bars in the area nearby.

It was really nice and like many comments said, the women's bathroom has the best view😆 The dining area (95th floor) doesn't have the greatest view because it's mainly all water but the lounge area(96th floor) has a really nice view. The view is really incredible and honestly, I highly recommend the place, even if their snacks are on the pricier side. The dining area requires a reservation from what I know (I might be wrong on this) but the lounge is walk in. The service was also nice from what I could tell. The dress code is formal attire but I saw many families wear comfortable and casual outfits do they aren't strict about it, although I'd actually take this chance to try out some of those dresses and suits accumulating dust in the back of your closet😉 The experience here overall, was just really nice. There is no entry fee or waiting time for the lounge.

Great way to truly experience the city and see all of the sights! It felt like you were actually going on a ride with the process of going through the elevators and taking pictures. The views were amazing! So glad we made time to do this.

This is a unique experience and you can see all the city from here. I do not like heights that much so I did not go for the tilt but it can be quite the adrenaline shot!! I saw one person walk away!! The view is breathtaking. Get yourself a drink and enjoy the view. The Hancock tower is a must to visit while in Chicago. Worth every penny.

My wife and I purchased the CityPass for a weekend getaway to Chicago. Having never been here, we decided to do all the tourist traps and locals. The 360 Chicago observation deck being one of them. We passed through the check points leading to the elevator with ease and little crowds. A fast ascent up the 94 floors via elevator, and we had arrived. I must say the views did not disappoint. Amazing, breathtaking, stupendous really don't describe the view. Overwhelming might be the best way to explain it. You could see the city from what I feel was the best angle. Now that said, I can't say much abou5 the tilt experience. It isn't included with the CityPass, and at $9 extra per person, we choose not to do it. Some said it was awesome, but I can't speak firsthand. Nevertheless, I would recommend to anyone to go and take in the views. Side note: There is a bar up there, but we don't drink, so I can't give that a review other than to say it looked really nice.

Great views and great drinks! The masks are required while in the observatory. The atmosphere is calming and the views are breathtaking! The tilt made this experience 10x better! Very thrilling and worth doing!

My second favorite building in Chicago. It wasn’t cloudy this day and got the chance to go to the top and look above the city. I didn’t ride the tilt but my kids did and they loved it. Very famous build that is a must to checkout if your into buildings.

360 Chicago is one of the best attractions in Chicago. The tilt is a special mention and cannot be missed. Night views and sunset. If planning for more than one attraction in Chicago, try using Go City packages with explorer pass or all inclusive pass for cheaper rates. Go through their website for more details.

We were going to the Signature Room 95th. Floor and to start off the seating arraignments was very chaotic and had to move a couple times. The band was SOO loud , couldn't even talk to my wife across the table. The food came out in courses and it took a flare and a sign to get the right waiter for drinks or anything. It looked like only 1 per section and that wasn't enough when you have this much people. My wife had to go to the restroom and you had to go up about 3-4 steps to the table the same way the waiters, busboys were using too. Well she had knee surgery and had to take a step at a time. She was actually told "Come On Come On" hurry by the waiter, we both didn't appreciate it at all. So the food was just ok , for what we paid we were thinking more , but it look like standard fare. Because of the noise of the band and having to ask for champagne when that should be offered for sure an hour before midnight. We reserved these seats which was charged already, the waiter didn't check this and we were billed another $ 450 plus bread and cocktails. I had to fix this with the mgr and still had $ 75 for 2 drinks & table bread. Left before midnight and went back to our rooms disappointed. Not doing that again or going to the restaurant or bar on the 95th. Not like it use to , you felt special there , dressed up and now I saw some one guy wearing sneakers and not Nike.

Formerly the John Hancock Center, this is one of the tallest buildings in Chicago at a height of 1,128 feet (343.7 meters) tall (Or 1,500 feet (456.9 meters) tall if you count the antennas on top) with 100 floors. The building houses shops and restaurants at the bottom, office space, residential space, an observation deck on the 94th floor called "360 Chicago", and a bar/restaurant on floors 95-96 called "The Signature Room". This building is also home to the highest indoor swimming pool in America on the 44th floor sky lobby! I visited the observation deck at night to get some amazing views of the city! This building is definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful views on all sides of the building. Very nice bar area and gift shop. The elevator is lightning fast and all the employees were friendly and helpful. Excellent place to visit!!

Fantastic views, tilt was a little less thrilling than I expected but it was still good, the bar at the top had a good selection of drinks and very friendly staff.

Not really sure how to rate this since we are still trying to get our photos from our visit. Customer service is terrible! The Tilt experience itself is unique and the views gorgeous. If we could get the photo issue resolved, preferably with the actual photos, I may change my rating. A lot of money for zero response.

Finding parking was a nightmare, but that was expected with it being downtown Chicago in the early evening, but I feel like the tilt was not all that amazing. It was not as though there was anything very picturesque about the view where the tilt was happening. Now if it was facing the lake I wouldn't have minded it so much. Besides that it was nice to see a lot of Chicago from a high view and it was great to get a free drink from the bar with the 360 tilt full access pass. I highly recommend anyone purchase online ahead of time to avoid lines etc.

Monday, October 16th '23 My group and I went up the 360 Tower at around 6.30PM to catch the sunset Luckily at that time there was no queue, which only meant that we can get up quickly and without much waiting. Still, reserving in advance is needed if you want to go at a specific time! It also seems that people who have the CHICAGO C3 or City Pass have a little short cut than those who buy a single ticket! Once we're up view was amazing! They have the TILT which was an experience that could pay 10$ extra but we it didn't seem worth it for us.

One of the best views of Chicago. This place is a must if you are in Chicago. Got some of the best photos of the city and also the Tilt is an amazing experience.

The 94th floor in this place is spectacular. It was so worth the money experiencing 360 obsetvation deck floor. The best part was taking part in the Tilt overglass on city side. I stand in font of a glass panel with vertical handle rails and then get tilted at a certain angle overlooking the street and city below. While doing this on the 94th floor. Just magnificent and breath taking. Highly recommended to overcome the fear of heights.

Have Always Loved the Observation Floor at the John Hancock Building, always sad when they rename favorite places. The Tilt was awesome! The "outdoor" (screened Observation Area) was very cool, literally & figuratively!

Do you want to see the whole of Chicago? This is your place. You can see all towers. It is amazing. In addition, you should live a tilt experience. It is unique!

This is one of the top attractions in Chicago and after seeing these amazing views, I can see why! It is a beautiful site indeed! Didn't rate it 5 stars for only one reason and that is because they decided to call it "Chicago's largest thrill-ride" and in reality I wouldn't consider it "thrilling". It is definitely a one of a kind experience but if your looking for something a little more thrilling I would suggest the Sky Deck.

  • 5/5 Nicole M. 2 years ago on Google
Such a tall building. It's the John Hancock building. I went up the the 360 observation room to get a view of the city and it did NOT disappoint.
