My family and I took a spontaneous trip here it was such a great idea.. it was our very first time going and what a wonderful experience! Our whole family enjoys space science and this place was right up our alley from my 21-year-old to my 11-year-old to my husband and myself we enjoyed every single second we spent there! It was so much to do and see.. One thing that we all love that its very, very interactive We definitely want to go back! Wednesdays are the best because it's free to Illinois residents. I really like the fact that they stay open late and what impressed me the most is that it's very, very family-friendly. From the nursing rooms in the bathrooms everything is well thought out.. my favorite part was seeing one of the oldest telescopes in the world!!!!😳 I just could not believe that they have it here & so much more!!!! The location itself is beautiful .. 😱 Wow!! The view in the evening of the city is simply spectacular !! Honestly pictures really don't do it any justice!!! Go ahead & make plans to come to one of America's oldest planetariums! 😁

Chicago's most scenic place to see. Beautiful skyline!!! If you get lucky that you walk here during the summertime, arround 9pm you will have a great view to the Navy Pier fireworks...

Lovely place to chill and look at the city’s skyline, it’s also a nice spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Perfect for a picnic and even a nap. Accesible by public transportation too.

We always bring people here when we want to show them the Chicago skyline. In the evenings, it’s usually less crowded and you can see the buildings lit up. It highlights the awesome buildings of Chicago.

Spectacular look on the Skyline. There‘s a lot of benches available to chill or enjoy the place. The fireworks (twice a week in summer) are amazing to watch. Extra Bonus… its free

Adler Planetarium Skyline walk is a must go when visiting Chicago, no matter of this is your first visit or the fiftieth skyline view will always be beautiful. I personally recommend visiting once in morning or afternoon to see the skyline in bright daylight and once in night sky to get best of both worlds, and both the sights are worth a catch.

One of the best places to get a group photo with the Chicago skyline in the background. There is a loop that you can drive around, and it is easy for buses to drop-off/pick-up here. There is a pretty wide, grassy area that you have access to, and the highest part is near the road, so easy to fit even big groups in the picture.

Got a nice photo here after an event hosted by the planetarium... if you're looking for a good skyline view that's not Navy Pier, you've found it.

Visited the planetarium with my wife and son during our trip to Chicago. I wasn't expecting to spend as much time as we did but we were there about 2.5 hours. We enjoyed the history and interactive displays. This is definitely a stop that needs to be made when touring the Chicago museums.

I needed more space and I got it! Great place to go to learn, and enjoy a high...among the stars and the planet. It's a small museum relatively but you have to explore and bask in the activities to really have an immersive experience. If you go to the shows...GET THERE 15 -20 MIN BEFORE IT STARTS. it will get packed and you'll regret it lmao.

This is the best spot for the Chicago city skyline view without any obstructions. Get your camping chairs, mats and you can peacefully relax in here. Plan your parking ahead of time as this location is crazily packed as it’s right next to Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium.

I absolutely love coming here. The walk is absolutely beautiful and so is the planetarium. I always said I would love to get married at the Planetarium in the glass triangle because it has the best view of the city. Guess I have to find a guy who will be honest with me first... maybe also someone educated, successful and ridiculously good looking. Asking too much? I’m manifesting it now. Universe, please send me a real man! Sincerely, Me
