Honestly pretty underwhelming for the price. I stayed at Four Seasons for my birthday with my family and wish we had stayed somewhere else. The views are good, but not worth it in my opinion. Staff wasn't great. Pretty snobby (not shocking). There were some issues with our room so the front desk worker told me they would provide a credit for the hotel bar/restaurant. When I got home after our stay I realized that credit was part of my initial reservation so he basically acted like he was doing something to make up for the issue but it was a credit we already had available to us! Our room's air would not adjust and we were dying of heat with a 2 year old. Not impressed. We were planning on making staying here a yearly tradition but will be looking elsewhere for a great hotel that is not only luxurious in name but in service/amenities.

Immaculate stay. Limited to a concise summary, there are not enough words to describe how wonderful this day has been. The staff have all been wonderful, from the doorman and bellman. Everyone has been so nice and the service has been exceptional. It is an ultra clean hotel, very modern and will kept. The decor and ambiance are very enjoyable. Despite being such a high class and quality establishment, one does not feel excessively silly roaming around and shorts and a decent shirt. Everyone here makes you feel so welcome. Be cleaning staff are very efficient and take care of every small detail. Even when coming back to our room, our shoes have been straightened and the water reservoir in the tea/coffee machine is always refilled. Despite there being so many options in this area, I am so very glad that I decided to stay here. We most certainly will be back and if you are on the fence about staying here, I highly recommend this establishment with zero reservations!!

My husband and I went for a day trip to have a massage and have a nice meal at Adorn. We were celebrating our anniversary and future new arrival (I'm 32 weeks pregnant). The staff was beyond friendly, courteous, all around amazing service between the Spa and the Hotel staff and the Restaurant staff. We would definitely go back 10 out 10! Thank you so much Four Seasons for a great experience!

Our king suite was not ready when we arrived so they placed us in an "upgraded" suite that they recently remodeled. At first we were so impressed until we left the room to head to lunch and an employee saw us and we hesitated because of his demeanor and My husband held back and went back to our room only to find him in our room. A wedding gift had been torn open but he was placing pillows that had been placed on the window sill he had brought to the room. Why were they not placed on the bed to begin with? We carried this gift across the country with no damage so I knew it well. We were glad my husband went back. The second thing was the new furniture was so stiff it was uncomfortable to even sit on. Pretty but not practical. The bed as well was extremely uncomfortable. Not the usual Four Season comfort. Then in the morning we went to shower and much to our surprise the valve to turn on the shower was cemented in concrete and would not turn on! You could hear the grind of the grout trying to break through. So we showered in the small shower in the living area and it too had issues that if you showered for more than 2 minutes, it overflowed over the threshold so we had to quickly get clean? Wow. Our room cost $1400 for that? I mentioned the issues to the check out clerk and his comment was a non expression of "Oh we will have to take a look at that". Really? Then I got a massage and the lame therapist suggested I take marijuana for my pain. When I didn't like that comment she suggested I use injections of fetal stem cells for healing. I didn't know they had doctors for massage therapy! I spent $200 for that advice and was so insulted and came out more sore than I went in. The only highlight of this hotel was the chef to the restaurant which is newly designed. The food was outstanding. We will not be returning to this hotel. It is not the quality it use to be. Look elsewhere for less and most likely better comfort.

Wow…I truly can not say enough about our stay at the Four Seasons Chicago…it was truly our best hotel experience ever. I will start with the hotel (which is amazing) but the staff is truly what makes it so so special. The location is perfect…just a block off the Magnificent Mile in the heart of River North. The hotel itself is beautiful and wonderful rooms, beautiful lobby and a great bar. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Now the staff…we travel a lot but I can honestly say that we have never had better service and felt like family. Everyone treated us and our my wife and I and even more importantly our kids (aged 7 and 5) like family. I wanted to mention a few people personally to again thank. Jade who welcomed us at the front desk when we first checked in. Karen, Michelle, and Kyle in concierge. The wonderful bartenders (on a side note they make great cocktails at the bar); I unfortunately did not get their names. Marius and Daniel at the front of the hotel. Truly everyone was wonderful! Thank you for an amazing stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Four Seasons made my trip even better!!!! Gorgeous hotel and classy. Our room view was spectacular and since they knew about my birthday, I got surprised with a cake in my room . Staff is extremely polite and the word “no” doesn’t exist when there is a request. Highly recommended, 100/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons! The service was impeccable. Special thank you to Karen at concierge for getting us into Maple and Ash and finding us last minute appointments for a massage therapist to give us massages in our room. I will definitely be back! :)

You could, as they say, do worse than a Four Seasons. It’s mostly immaculate. The staff is comically friendly and helpful. Two nitpicks as someone who really had to stretch to stay at a Four Seasons and expected perfection: 1) the in-room dining is absurdly expensive AND below average, 2) due to the hotel’s incredible location beside the lake, it receives the brunt of the wind coming off the lake, so the room creaks every 2-3 seconds when it’s windy. In Chicago. Sooo if you’re a light sleeper like me, bring some pills or something.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at this hotel last week. The views from our suite on the 43rd floor were the best you could wish for in Chicago. The service was impeccable and exactly what you would expect from a five-star hotel. I appreciated their chat where the team was able to accommodate our requests so fast. We got a birthday in-room cake and another one from the restaurant for our breakfast on the birthday day. Special thanks to David, who was welcoming and made us feel at ease when we arrived and made our stay smooth and pleasant. Overall, a great experience and is worth another visit 😇

I'm currently staying here but felt the urgency to write a review before leaving. This Hotel is outstanding. Every employee interaction has been perfect. The attention and awareness on their guests at every opportunity is truly inspiring. It will be hard pressed to ever stay anywhere else when back in Chicago. Awesome experience!!

We love staying at the four seasons. It is in a great location and the front desk staff was really great. I had come previously in 2/2022 and the food and bar experience this time was lacking compared to before. The quality of the cocktails was definitely lower. I was still charged for my bar food even though I was told it was comped because the order was wrong and I never got my drink. The suite was great with a good view although the shower area felt cramped. The service staff were friendly and attentive.

Words can’t express how amazing our trip was to this property. The exceptional service to the breathtaking views it made for a time my wife and I will never forget. My wife and I have twin daughters that are almost seven and we decided to finally take a couple days away for ourselves. This was the first time both of us had been away from our girls since they were born. Upon check-in, they remembered why we were there and made a big to do about it. Additionally, Patrick was so amazing that he had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the room to celebrate this special occasion. We were blown away by this gesture. Thank you Patrick for everything you did for us. You are amazing at what you do and The Four Seasons Chicago is so lucky to have such a professional like you. This truly was an amazing experience that we will never forget! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

First time at the property and everyone was so welcoming. We stayed at the suite with the lake view, and the view was impeccable. The spa facility was also well-maintained, and we especially liked the Jacuzzi and the swimming pool which had a glass dome ceiling.

Stayed at the Four Seasons Chicago and had a great time! With its location being close to notable spots like the Museum of Contemporary Art and other fun spots like Jeni's Ice Cream. The on-site restaurant, Adorn, along with its bar, was a delightful experience. The rooms were top-notch and the service was impeccable. A special mention for the flavored waters they serve in the lobby during afternoons; such a refreshing touch! Additionally the redesigned hot tub / pool area was so relaxing (they even have a steam room and sauna)! Highly recommend for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Chicago.

Have been here a bunch of times, always loved it - especially since their recent revamp of Adorn. Recently experienced their new penthouse cocktail bar and it was AMAZING. Have to see it to understand. Definitely recommend that experience

First time staying here and we enjoyed it for the most part. We came to Chicago to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday, we had two special requests which this hotel achieved both, an early check in AND happy birthday decorations in our room which we were very gracious for. The hotel frontage and lobby were luxurious but the rooms were still outdated. Shower head had so much calcium build up causing the shower pressure to be terrible. Expensive toiletries brand, but with cheap thin toilet paper? We booked a lake view room which had a great view of the lake, but you get what you paid for. We also did use the hotel pool, the hot tub is excellent, but the pool was blah. Everyone who worked there we interacted with were professional and helpful. All in all, this hotel didn’t hit all of the excellence but because they accommodated two of our most desired requests, they get a 5-star from me even with all of the substandard features.

I’ve stayed at several Four Seasons hotels across the nation and Four Seasons service has always been exceptional. I’m writing this review because this is the first time I’ve found a bible in the room and I am very thankful and very much in awe. A lot of hotels has gotten rid of bibles for many reasons, for Four Seasons to still keep it is a very bold move and God will continue to bless them. May your business prosper and be protected by the Lord.

Amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond to make my 7 yr old daughter's birthday trip special. Multiple delivers to the room (toys, t-shirt, cupcakes, cookies, happy birthday note). Gorgeous rooms with beautiful views of Chicago. The restaurant is amazing as well.

I celebrated my 35th birthday at the Mile High Cocktail Club with my best friend this past Saturday. The entire staff was amazing and made us feel special, although I do feel terrible that they had to go all to their actual restaurant several floors down to get our caviar, popcorn, and oysters. Next time, I’ll dine at Adorn and then get cocktails at the speakeasy. Also, thank you so much to Julia! You made my birthday incredible!

Our recent stay was fantastic, as expected. From the familiar faces at the valet, to checking in, and within the dining area, it was like seeing old friends. The concierge team, led by Kristen, treated with utmost hospitality. Look forward to visiting again. As a premier hotel, expectations are always high, and we are never disappointed 🙂

Great experience, service, clean, neat, attention to details. Wonderful spa & pool (I'm a swimmer and it was perfect, even had a lane). Love the apples and water, always available. Gym is top notch. Overall, highly recommend a room with the lake view.

Beautiful renovation of the lobby and main restaurant and bar. Breakfast is excellent, great staff and all the food on multiple days was well prepared. Staff members are attentive and caring. The room we stayed in was a lake view suite and needed updating. The furniture was old and the bathroom extremely outdated likely dating from the hotels opening. I do wish the renovations had carried over into the rooms as well.

Just spent two days at the Four Seasons. Wonderful experience!! From valet to the front desk, restaurant staff everyone was courteous, professional and helpful. Ate all but one meal in the hotel restaurant Adorn. We didn’t have a bad meal. Kudos, to the chef and the entire restaurant staff. Beautiful clean rooms with a spectacular view. Being a woman in my sixties, my only recommendation would be higher toilets, please! LOL Can’t wait to return!!!

Staff was good. Valet was amazing. Very kind courteous guys down there. Price was high but expected. Pool was dark and almost un inviting. I liked it…. wife expected more. I quit fighting that battle long time ago! I say 5 stars she says 3

The Four Seasons was fantastic, if you are staying in Chicago there is no better hotel. The room was fabulous, the views breathtaking and the service friendly and courteous. Set on the Magnificent Mile it was close to all the activities and restaurants we wanted to visit. The restaurant in the hotel the Adorn had great breakfast choices, everything we tried was delicious and staff was on point. We will have to try dinner next time. Room service was fast and food was hot and tasted great. Everything was exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons and more. We will definitely recommend and return.

Amazing decor and as per usual for a Four Seasons, outstanding service! Front desk team, Concierge team and valet team are all amazing! Have stayed at ALL of the luxury hotels on Mag mile and this one takes the cake for Uber luxury and outstanding service! Highly recommend the spring blossom tea service if traveling for a girls weekend!

This is a great hotel! The service to pre-pandemic amazing which is 6* in 2022! I see the same staff each visit and everybody from the doormen, valets, housekeeping, and food and beverage go the extra mile! The rooms are large and well equipped. It’s my new favorite hotel in the US!

  • 5/5 Keegan M. 2 years ago on Google
We had an exceptional stay here. The four seasons service sets the bar for the industry. They were great with amenities for family and the rooms felt more like comfortable apartment than hotel room. The lobby space and restaurant are beautiful too.

We stay in the best hotels we can find, usually love Four Seasons. We were excited to come back to this one, as it has been a few years. Executive suite is bare bones. No fridge or microwave. Horrible lukewarm coffee, menu has gone downhill as well as the decor. Very sterile. Staff was nice, but we definitely won't be returning to this location. Isn't luxury anymore. You can see the managements response to the reviews...they just tell you that you will recieve a "heightened experience" on your next visit. No thanks, I'm looking for that while I am here--now.

We have stayed at the Four Seasons twice in the past two weeks, both times for one night with two suites - so quite expensive. Both times, our rooms were not ready at 4 PM as promised. We have stood in the lobby waiting for someone to tell us what us going on while we have several children in tow. Has put a serious damper on our brief visits to the city, and I don’t think we would stay here again. Quite ridiculous to charge this much money for a room and then not have it available as promised. We were put into a “staging room “after 45 minutes of waiting. Our rooms have to be moved when the one we actually paid for is available, and they will give no time as to when that will be. We stay at Four Seasons whenever we travel, twice this Chicago location has failed us. This is not four star service, huge disappointment.

Omar at the front desk took the time ,effort and diligence to provide perfect solutions for the experience I was seeking. I'm so thankful for the pristine personal service. Sophia in the spa ,also spent quite a lengthy time with me on the phone to coordinate multiple services for my family of 4 so we could all enjoy our time together. Thank you 4 Seasons Chicago !

Hotel, rooms, and customer service were all impeccable. Beautiful lobby area. Rooms were clean. Reception and concierge very accommodating. Only complaint was the restaurant inside which was not suited for this caliber of hotel. The food was not up to par.

I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the staff is at the Four Seasons Chicago. They will go out of their way to make sure every guest is satisfied. The restaurant is a MUST! The awards of the head chef and pasty chef make it clear that the food will be good, but after the first bite it’s clear that the meal will be fantastic.
