I absolutely love this hotel. Everything from the amenities to the super funky and cool room decor is top notch. Robot deliveries to the room is freaking awesome. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and had great suggestions for activities around the area. Interactive lobby with modern electronic updates was trendy and a hot spot. Lounge had great drink options and the room service breakfast was key for a Sunday morning. I'll definitely come back real soon.

Did a quick one night staycation here. Nothing insanely special about this stay. I felt like everything was just fine. Nothing stood out on the positive or negative side, which is sometimes totally okay! I feel as if there are other options in the city for similar price points that provide a better stay/experience. Paper cups brought with room service rather than mugs for coffee was odd, and plastic cups wrapped in baggies in the room felt really cheap. Customer service was very nice and gave us late checkout no questions asked. Only issue was I called front desk to see if they had any coffee, and they said only in restaurant or room service. So I ordered a pot of coffee to the room, which was $20(woof), and then saw free coffee by the door as we left. Again, nothing crazy bad, just little annoying things that a Marriott should be better at! Overall, Just Fine stay. Nothing outstanding. Location is great though!

Wife and I booked this for our 6 year Anniversary. Hotel was very nice and chic. Front desk check in was very quick. However they didn’t explain to us how to use Alexa to get room service or anything pertaining to their cool Leo and Cleo robots, just that they had them. They could’ve empathized all the cool things more and how to use them. I’m big on customer service. We called down to get our car pulled up from valet, front desk girl said “do you have a ticket?” Valet did not give us a ticket. “What’s your last digits of your license?” Don’t know by memory yet as this is a rental. She said okay she’ll talk to the valet. Never received a call back so we finally go downstairs and the girl with the blue hair just looks irritated with the valet and in short says we gotta deal with them. So had we not come down, she would have never touched base with us. A little goes a long way, had she touched base or even said I’m sorry could you please speak to valet, I would’ve given this place a 4. The best were the house keeping staff that came up and brought our stuff since there was only one of everything. Our room was nice but not vacuumed. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Super cool room with many high tech features! At the last minute before arrival, I requested a room on a higher floor, as I love the city views, and they were able to switch my room with no problem! The lights for the room and bathroom can be controlled at bedside, and it has many settings for dimming, reading, relaxing, and a nightlight feature. The room also has a really cool sound amplifier for your phone and plenty of places for storage. In the closet comes a very plush, warm robe with a microfiber-like inner lining that is very soft and comfortable! The gym was very clean, had a decent variety of equipment, and was stocked with plenty of towels and disinfecting wipes. I even had room service delivered by a robot! Very clean, very high tech, yet still a very cozy accommodation.

Stayed at this hotel during my birthday weekend. This hotel is amazing! Room was clean and smelled fresh. Robots were awesome. Got there a little early for check-in and was accommodated accordingly. Customer service was top notch, breakfast at the Albert was great and Robots were super cool! The room was very modern and even had Alexa. Room was worth every penny! Special shout out to Tiara! working the front desk/ guest services. She had the best customer service and made my birthday feel extra special! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others.

This truly a unique and different type of hotel, which is what the creator wanted to achieve. The rooms are very different from your typical hotel rooms, with showers surrounded by glass so you can keep watching your show while you shower, if that's your thing 😉. I also met Leo and Cleveland, the hotel guests personal butler robot, who brings you what you want when you want it. The front desk staff is really courteous. The location is excellent, I was able to walk to the pier, shopping and many great restaurants. I very much enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel.

This was a different experience. The staff on the way in greeted us kindly, and asked if we needed us. The rooms are decorated in a very cool art deco American Horror Story vibe. They have amazing smelling products in the rooms, and super comfy beds with nice fluffy blankets. My group had fun playing with all the little oddities in the room like to cell phone amplifier. Everything was very nice and clean! Beware though, it appears the bots run the hotel, and the staff just works there. The staff told us they could be a little quirky and if Alexa didn't pass messages on to call them but our bots refused to bring us more toilet paper. The elevators are a bit aggressive too. The usual trick of sticking an arm in to hold it doesn't work. The door keeps closing, even if you're half way out of the elevator and the rest of the party is on the other side of the door. They didn't harm me, just wouldn't let me off until I asked nicely. (Or pressed the open button...) wouldn't hesitate to stay here again though as the location was perfect. We didn't done at the restaurant, but it smelled amazing.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your resort. They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't regret it. Beautiful hotel, really interesting decor. Wonderful staff. Comfortable bed. Clean, and as quiet as you can expect for downtown. Would stay here again!

Spent one night on a shopping trip, and this hotel gets 5 stars most especially because of its value for money. The furnishings, decor, service, novelty, and cleanliness are all nearly impeccable, but the LOCATION for the price is amazing! The hotel is just steps away from the lake, the historic water tower, the 360 building, and all the best shops- Gucci, Burberry, Neiman Marcus, etc. Don’t forget to order some room service from the resident robots Leo and Cleo!

The team at the front desk was so polite and kind. They were very accommodating with all our requests (early check in, late check out, high floor). And they never made us feel like they were doing us a favor or any request is bothersome. The hotel itself was very unique, the design was intriguing. The rooms were super clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was stocked. Location was great, everything we wanted to do was walkable! My one recommendation is that they should have 2 water bottles in the room if there are 2 guests checked in. But I’m certain if we would have asked for it they would have happily helped us out with that! Would definitely recommend and come back!

The rooms and aesthetic of this hotel are amazing and really well curated. A lot of really great details and overall I had a great experience here. Aubrey, Tiara, and Nagina were especially helpful and accommodating. The gym was nice but definitely small for a hotel this size and lacked heavy weights and functional space. There’s a heavy bag but no gloves. Dumbbells up to 50 lbs but only about 10 sq ft to use them. Also, this is one of few autograph collection hotels without peloton bikes or rowers. Definitely more to be desired in the gym space. My biggest issue with this place was the valet. This was notably the WORST parking experience I’ve had at a hotel. The valet attendants were always at the door but never available. They lacked awareness. At check in, I waited a good 10 minutes for the valet to come out as he just stood at a kiosk looking directly at me waiting. I had to leave my car unattended to get his attention and even while directly in front of him he proceeded to ignore me. This was not the first negative experience with this group. After work, returning to the hotel, I had a similar experience. Pretty much every time I needed to retrieve or get my car parked it was a hassle. I watched the valets disrespect neighboring businesses, leave peoples cars parked in places that blocked active driveways, and literally ignore the people working at the neighboring businesses when politely asked not to park there. They were extremely unprofessional and rude, and seemingly used to being that way without any consequence. Hopefully this gets corrected. This otherwise would have been a great stay.

I would definitely stay here again. Unique hotel, good location, reasonable price for what you get. Below are some of MY pros and cons. Pros: - The robots were really cool - The decor in the rooms is very modern and fancy. Nice vibe. - The bed was super comfortable, nice pillows and linen. - Shower is very cool and the water gets skin boiling hot (perfect!) - The Albert had Beyond breakfast sausage, which I really appreciated. Cons: - The lights in room flicker A LOT. It was annoying. - The bathroom door is INCREDIBLY heavy. I have a bad shoulder and could barely pull the dang thing closed. - Netflix connection (via the TV) was very slow. Searching for something to watch is frustrating, but if you're like me an watch the same things over and over, it's an easy click and it streams well. - The valet was rude. He stood inside the entire time and I had to try and park THEN bring him my keys. It just isn't what you expect from a valet service.

Easy room access, very comfy beds with loads of soft pillows. Great rain shower. Fantastic boutique experience. Will stay again. Did not get a chance to try to restaurant. Basic options sounded tasty. Full sized complimentary spring water bottles at our disposal and room service provided by the in house robots! The staff were friendly and professional at all times.

Fantastic stay! Stylish, unique and welcoming hotel located in central downtown Chicago. We were here for 4 nights and loved every minute of our stay. We walked everywhere, enjoyed the many options at breakfast (I'd suggest paying for it ahead of time to be included). There are so many breakfast options: smoothies, juices, mimosas, eggs, pancakes, waffles, yoghurt, fruit and so many sides. Very friendly staff everywhere; everyone was super friendly from the reception to house cleaning. The gym is small but has everything you need to get a good workout done. Would recommend for anyone in Chicago looking for a comfortable stay in a hip area.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the hotel very much. I would say it's more for couples and less for families. The location was very good although my personal preference would have been to stay closer to the River. The room was VERY nice and modern. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The glass shower was very romantic.... My complaints would be that the lounge/hang out area is very small and there is no outdoor space or amenities (other than the ample fitness room). The weather was beautiful and it was very disappointing to find a terrace on the 3rd floor that was locked and not open to guests. The room's fridge was also very small and could have been improved with the addition of a microwave. I probably will try another hotel next time even though we enjoyed many aspects of this hotel.

We stayed at EMC2 with our dog last month while on a cross-country road trip and couldn't have had a better experience from start to finish. The hotel is right in the heart of it all, yet on a side street so a bit removed from all the hustle-and-bustle. Rooms were clean, quiet, modern and quite spacious for a city hotel. And it was especially nice to find a hotel of this caliber that doesn't charge an outrageous pet fee -- or any fee at all! During our stay we received exemplary service from Aubrey, Caesar, and Tiara, as well as the rest of the staff. And when I spotted an error on our bill a full two weeks after our stay it was taken care of promptly and professionally -- without any hassle or questions asked. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Chicago.

Location: 4.5/5 Views: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Amenities: N/A Room: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Visited during my short stay at Chicago this summer. Front desk agents and porter were friendly, professional, and courteous. Hotel is in a decent location with close proximity to nearby retail and restaurants but I wouldn’t expect top-tier views. Room has a bit of strong smell that upon entry, could potentially use a more relaxing scent. Highlight was the bed, super comfortable, and good pillows. Appreciated the smart buttons for interior lighting as well as the quirky/classy designs. Would visit again.

So many great things to say about the hotel: clean, great location, part of Marriott Bonvoy, robot butlers, & incredible staff. The staff blew my mind; each person was extremely kind and professional. We rolled in around midnight & desperately needed a place for our dog to potty. Juan took time to search around for us as we were too tired to think. The little robots that deliver to your room are neat. They make Star Wars robot noises & do a little dance 🤖 The rooms were really nice. Plenty of storage for clothes, toiletries, etc. Nice long desk. The air conditioning was incredible; felt like a freezer when we wanted it to & it's an internal system so there's absolutely no sign of mold. Hardwood & tiles floor only so no dirty, dust carpet. The bathroom was very unique with the all glass shower but also has a curtain that can be extended to close off the entire bathroom. Location was also about as good as it gets. 5-minute walk to dozens of restaurants, 15-minute walk to at least 10 beautiful places. I'll definitely stay here next time I come to Chicago.

This was probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Mainly it was a beautiful modern room, the bathroom shower was very romantic and especially the KING BED was so comfortable, after a long weekend of walking around the city. We knocked out instantly. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Chicago!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here this week! We were able to check in early and get settled before exploring the city. The location was perfect and in great walking distance from most of the places we wanted to see. I chose this hotel because I wanted a change in scenery from the other Marriott properties we’ve stayed in. I loved the dark and moody vibe of this place and the room was fabulous! I was just tickled seeing the little robot rolling around and getting on the elevator! The staff are so kind and welcoming, I highly recommend staying here.

The room was immaculate & service was wonderful. Very clean & quiet; room service came each day. The aesthetic of the whole hotel is so beautiful and well thought out. If you are a lover of small details, this is the place for you. The modern tech touches were unique & interesting. Very walkable to west loop & throughout river north. Parking was easy. I was a little disappointed with the Albert, food was very low grade for such a nice hotel & service was almost nonexistent. Will definitely be staying here from now on when visiting Chicago.

We loved that place. Very close and walkable ro beautiful places. Staff in the hotel were super friendly . Hotel has a amazing touches very high tech. Our son felt in love with the 2 cute robots Leo and Cleo bring him water and food. We stay one day for brunch and food and drinks were delicious. Recommend the place.

Great hotel for couples and business travel. My favorite feature is the 24/7 room service robots. They are a fun addition to the hotel. The location is great and not too noisy even though it is close to a hospital. Be aware that the shower is in the middle of the room and is essentially a glass box. There is a curtain, but would not recommend this hotel for families and non-couples.

My other half and I stayed at the hotel in October 2022. It was a trip to remember to say the least. He had a heart episode that resulted in being escorted to the hospital just behind the hotel. Thanks to hotel staff, we were led right through to the back of the hotel and to the emergency room. Stressful time as he ended up being admitted into the hospital for a number of days. As the hospital staff did all they could to aid his heart, The staff at the hotel made sure I was also taken care of. Seriously, from the amazing front desk, the restaurant staff and even management, i felt the love. Coming from out of the country and only being in our 30s, we definitely didn't see the heart episode coming. I recall calling the front desk in such a panic the night we rushed to the emergency department, and from that moment on, the extended their hearts and compassion and ensure they did what they could. After a sleepless night, I returned back to the hotel, had to rearrange our flights and add nights to the booking and the staff were more than accommodating. The amazing front end manager even brought me breakfast from the kitchen as she knew I was in quite a state and hadn't eaten. The bar tender at the Albert, amazing. Just amazing. This review is long over due but it's definitely a hotel I would recommend 100x over. The rooms were immaculate, the food at the Albert, the service, just amazing. Management should be proud of the team they had during October 2022, because they we're all outstanding. Thank you for all you did during one of the most difficult times of our lives.♡

Absolutely amazing hotel. The hotel was nice. However, the service and the receptionists made it feel like a home away from home. Particularly, there was a gentlemen named Aubrey that made us feel extremely welcome to both the hotel and Chicago. He spent time informing us about the must visit places and restaurants in Chicago, and greeted us with love on our arrivals and departures. He definitely was a great representation of what the Hotel stands for and offered a unique experience that we would have not gotten in Chicago otherwise!

I absolutely loved the decor of this hotel and it feels very unique from the minute you walk in. I seemed to have higher expectations after reading other reviews, but our faucet didn’t stay on (it had to be held to stay on), the bed was not as comfortable as I anticipated, and the telephones did not work so we couldn’t order from the robots. This isn’t life shattering at all, but it would have been a phenomenal touch after hearing so much about robots! After we called the front desk from our cell phone, we were informed that the phone system wasn’t working in the hotel. The location is perfect, as it is walkable to almost all of the main areas (navy pier, magnificent mile, etc). All in all, this is a beautiful hotel and I would recommend it for sure.

For the hype and price there is room for improvement. Over all a very unique hotel with the idea of where are meets science. Love the the ideas and props throughout. The restaurant and bar are absolutely spot on and highly recommended as a great part of the experience. The attention to detail when cleaning and preparing the rooms for the next guest as well as internal communications are 2 major areas that should be improved upon. Overall, highly recommend this establishment and experience.

5 Star Accommodation! Convenient location. Reasonably priced. Chic modern styling throughout the hotel and rooms. Everything was neat & clean. Love the art-meets-science twist to the place. Staff was helpful and the robot butlers are not only comical & somehow actually cute - but functional too if you need some extra towels or soaps/shampoo. Lastly, the on site restaurant The Albert was excellent. Can’t say enough good things about the food & service. Would absolutely stay again & recommend to all my friends.

The hotel is so unique and beautifully decorated!! Above that, all of the staff were wonderful! In particular, two staff Tiara (front desk) and Aubrey (bellman) were wonderful. Tiara went out of her way to check the room was to our liking by taking me up to the floor before reassigning the room. (Our initial room was by the elevator.) Aubrey is such a wonderful human and lovely to talk to! He’s attentive to the customer’s needs and always ready to assist! He’s also the best photographer. All around, great hotel. Would highly recommend!

This hotel was amazing. We stayed during IMTS and we couldn't be happier. All the staff are super wonderful. You're greeted with smiles every morning and anytime you enter the property. Luggage was loaded and unloaded and taken to our room promptly. All staff were super friendly. Rooms were clean and we were able to use the robot to get more towels. Patrick at the bar at The Albert was super fun. He gave us great food recommendations and was very friendly when we ate at the hotel bar.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Beautifully decorated from the glass shower walls to the cool lava looking pipe light in the bathroom. Magnificently clean as well. The staff were very attentive. I felt like a celebrity! Aubrey the bellman was amazing and truly made us feel special. He even walked us to our ride and loaded our bags. Room service was exceptional. We even ordered extra body wash which was delivered to our door by Leo the robot! 100/10 recommend!!

Stay was good. Food was excellent. When I tried to order room service one night they were kind of short with me, but the robot delivering food was great. Though you need to figure out that it isn’t voice activated and you have to push buttons on the screen to answer. One hiccup was that there was a spot in my room that was rather dusty, and a coaster that wasn’t placed by me. (Picture added) so they need to take a little more attention to detail on cleaning. The gym was nice and clean, and what you expect from a hotel gym! I was happy to see a water filter where I could fill my jug of water up. Entry they couldn’t upgrade my room and said I was already on a high floor. It wasn’t until after the person checking me in discovered I hold status, and apologized bout not offering me an upgrade. Minus these few things the stay was nice, and it’s a super cute and interesting hotel. What you’d expect from the pictures. For valet being 65 a night, I expected more.

Rooms are great! Salt/water marks from the snow bring it down a notch but I imagine in the summer the lobby is much nicer. Staff are amazing. Definitely go to the restaurant inside for brunch/din.

I decided to go to Chicago for a last minute weekend trip and couldn’t have been more happy with this hotel. It’s very quirky and unique, incorporating works of art amongst other little details. Definitely not your average stay, but worth it compared to a more basic hotel. The room view from the 21st floor couldn’t have been better. You get a great view of the Chicago skyline. Seeing the city lights at night and waking up to the sunrise cant compare to anything else. They incorporated this little robot machine, Marla, that can deliver you room service or items that you need. In the morning, it automatically delivered water bottles, which was a nice touch. Very utopian, but in the best way possible. The food and drinks at the restaurant were exceptional. They offer free breakfast and serve brunch, lunch and dinner with menu items that are a delicacy for good price; duck, lamb, etc. My waiter was Kate, and the service from her was impeccable. Being served by Kate is really the reason why I’m making this review. Customer service goes a long way. I definitely recommend this hotel :)
