Went to the merchandise mart to see the One of a Kind Art Fair. The entrance was $15 per person and $5 for the tote bag. It's Located on the 7th floor of the merchandise mart. It had 10 long double sided aisles of crafts, foods, clothes, jewelry, and art. Most of the stalls were jewelry, small knick knacks and clothes. I wish there was more original artwork. They had a food - gourmet area that sold some maple syrup, dips, candy, pecans, oils and some other minimal treats. There were a few unique items but they all started looking the same after awhile. Colorful products and colorful people. An interesting day and definitely different than your basic shopping experience.

When going to the Riverwalk at night you have to stop sit and view the show. Yep you can watch it over and over. It's all about the experience.

Truck Driver here, first time delivering to this place. Not bad getting here, take i90 to Ohio St, Right on N Orleans, Left on Hubbard then immediate Right to lower N Orleans, you will see underground entrance at bottom of hill. Security was super nice and helpful spotting. The place had construction in the garage so maneuvering was tight (make sure your tandems are slit forward). No overnight parking and no room to sit once you are unloaded. They do have clean restrooms up on the loading dock. While I am not a fan of tight places I would come here again. Almost forgot, they don't start unloading until 8:00 a.m.

One of the best buildings in Chicago by far. It is a huge shopping mall with a great selection of shops. The architecture of the building is fantastic. At night they project videos onto the building from the bridge.

In naturally effectively coordination . A fairly large, visible marketplace, with a pronounced demonstration, visually manifested effects of a percussion show in the evening, which has musical accompaniment with good echolocation. People gather to watch a visual percussion show on the waterfront. The trading platform itself has a diverse gradation of purpose, definitions of sales representatives, there are bars, various places of social purpose and spending time. Nice place

Excellent place to visit. It gets illuminated and artistic videos are projected at night. Inside you can find lots of stores for the decor of your home, offices and places to eat (the latter ones are in the 2nd floor). The chicago bridal market is held here and it was an excellent experience. The building has an unique architecture and it is imposing. It is a building with a great history and it stands out for its commercial dynamism and diversity.

Beautiful spacious building with plenty of restaurants on the second floor and lots of shopping centers. Never Knew this place existed they also have a water show at night on the Chicago River walk. Side note the Chicago brown line is connected to this building on the second floor.

Food court wasn’t open when I visited, but they do have lots of options. Logan’s Landing was where I decided to have lunch and chose a delicious salad. The bartender that also made a pretty wonderful French 75. Coffee is available from a Starbucks & Dunkin. The outside patio with lounge seating & wifi access next to the river was the best part for me. Great place to “work from home” on a nice summertime Chi day.

Exterior: inspirational in a somewhat gawd-awfully monstrously boxy way. Interior: vibes of The Shining. Trippy old-school modern design elements. While the vendors are in business, the pretty and pricey items and concepts are from a 1924-1972 repertory of modernism.

I really did not do that much exploring here but there were some gorgeous scenes to take pictures at. There's a nice restaurant upstairs where you can get a wonderful Chicago Reuben.

What a cool place. There were all sorts of unique vendors who make their items for sale. We were able to find holiday presents for people who are so difficult to buy for. It was very crowded, but that may be because we went in December.

What an awesome experience for use, future homebuilders. So many beneficial showrooms. Definitely will need to return to visit more. Multiple floors of options. Floor 2 and a few restaurants on floor 1 make this a fun full day trip.

Nice place to work outside of home. Food court has various options. Not sure why you would go here unless you are remodeling your place. It's a beautiful building. So many people recommended it, but it was boring without a need to be there.

So happy to be attending the One Kind of Show after 1 1/2 years of the show being closed. Great to see the main floor full with wholesalers. Disappointed the second floor food court wasn't open except DD. Good idea to have Starbucks open during show and after show.

Not sure why this wants info about tickets, I just walked in the door like everyone else. It's a little like a very nice mall. It has shops, places to eat, as well as office spaces and classrooms. I really like the businesses that focus on home renovations. They have some high-class options, but are very friendly and not snotty at all.

Came here on a university trip to the city and was able to tour Kravet and Holly Hunt. There is so much to see here!

This is a review about the office space area. I had never been in the building but I knew it was historical. We attended an event with Fox Swibel upstairs. They had spacious conference areas and good bathrooms. Despite being a large building, it was easy enough to get around. I was also intrigued by the various tenants on the top floor. Obviously there's still a lot of Home Furnishing and design business that happens there. It was really cool to walk through some of the showrooms during break.

There is no point flying all the way here and look for furnitures. 😑

There are various stores to choose from, very clean and you definitely feel safe shopping here. The place is very beautiful and the staffs were very polite and friendly. They have very nice quality products, that every person can return back to. The guards and other staffs are friendly. It observes health protocols properly. So, I enjoyed shopping, roaming and eating here. It was amazing. The parking space is not so crowded too. I love strolling and eating here at The Merchandise Mart and see what's new to this store. I will recommend this shop to all of my family and friends. Shop now!

Beautiful building, beautiful architecture. The lobby is gorgeous! The building itself is full of home design stores in the first floor, food court on the second floor, and offices(?) on upper floors. There are some fun options to eat on the second floor, there's a salad place, sandwich place, soup place, McDs, pizza, etc, but my favorite was an Amazon go store. I have not encountered one of these before and even though there was a couple minutes of learning curve and a confusion of -really, I just walk out?- it was a cool experience. Though there's not much to buy besides snacks and cables. At night, the outside of the building does a beautiful projection show on the side facing the river. It's worth walking over to visit if you're in the area.

The Mart is a great resource for homeowners and custom builders alike. For 35 years, Goldberg General Contracting has continually returned accessing product knowledge from suppliers. Arguably the single largest showroom center for interior design in the country. Definitively the best selection of manufacturers all under one roof.

Pretty darn fancy but also a great part of the city to explore. A cool place to check out some high end design.
