Everything we had tasted delicious! We tried the chicken & waffles, the stuffed French toast, and the chicken sandwich, and they were all very good. The atmosphere is great for anyone dining alone or in a group.

Great service. Our server Omar was awesome. Very courteous, professional and friendly. Cute but quaint spot located conveniently in the Virgin hotel. We had the focaccia with a side of mozzarella which was delicious along with Lobster Spinach Ravioli (small but filling serving) and the chicken (pollo)!dish had a substantial amount with good flavor. The piece de resistance was my birthday dessert the tiramisu. It was delectable. Only downside is needs a few more menu options.

Delicious food with a broad selection of familiar but authentic Italian dishes. It's casual dining. Food portions are sufficient and prices are fair. A majority of the entrees are in the high $20s while breakfast was in the low $20s. Overall consistent in the preparation, presentation and taste. Service was okay although they kept telling us we couldn't be seated until everyone was there. This doesn't make sense to me since some people might want to order drinks while they wait for their tardy guests. This was the only annoying policy they had. Otherwise, a great place to have breakfast, brunch and dinner.

The secrets to good Italian food are good ingredients and making as much from scratch as possible. That's exactly what you get here - housemade pasta, high quality meats and cheese, and high quality ovens, for you al forno folks. The pork belly, carbonara, lobster ravioli, and bruschetta were stellar. The tiramisu, made in house, was so good that I couldn't even remember to snap a pic before diving in. Omar and Zach were great - exceptional service all around. Some of the best Italian food I've had - inclusive of the food I've had in Italy. And you cannot beat the location!

Stopped by here for brunch and it was great. Service is fast if you have a reservation already. Interior is nice and the waiters are friendly. Ordered chilaquiles, stuffed french toast, and a side of hashbrowns. Every single item was so good, especially the chilaquiles.

I was a tourist running the marathon! Being someone new to the city, I try to keep my dining option nearby! I reserve the table which I probably did not need to. There were only three other diners! I was promptly seated. But was never ask regarding drink which most diners would had offered right away! I booked the table for one pm so iI can do some sightseeing but after waiting for 30 minutes, there no service not even a glass of water! I was very disappointed as the service in the morning was ok!

My boyfriend and I had brunch here and made a reservation, so we got in pretty quick. The atmosphere was cute and everyone was nice. My only complaint is that although the food was good, I watched it sit under the heating lamp for 10+ minutes so it was kind of old and my egg was way overcooked (I didn’t want to say anything about our food sitting there and question the server, but I should have). I was hoping he would come by and ask how everything was so I could ask for a new egg, but another 10 minutes passed since we got our food so I just let it go and finished my meal. So although I wish the food was more fresh and our waiter be more attentive, it was tasty overall.

It was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Servers were nice but it felt slow, we stood at the entrance for a while, we had to ask to have our order taken. 4 dollars for bland coffee, breakfast sandwich could have been just the same at a cheaper coffee shop.

Visited Miss Ricky’s while visiting town. I had an alright overall experience. I liked the setting, and the overall atmosphere. The server, Stoli, was sweet and provided good customer service. The food was alright. I had the Stuffed French Toast, It was sort of dry. The smoked apple chicken sausage was pretty good, which I had as a side. I would recommend more food options. I’ll have to give this place another try to provide a fair judgment.

I’m not wowed to easily, but oh my. The food at Ms Ricky’s is absolutely incredible. Had the 3 course meal. Salad was fresh, crisp, and delightful. The Lasagna blew my socks off and was like nothing I’ve had before. It was truly spectacular. Cheesecake- like legit cheesecake- with fresh berries. Such a perfect ending. Staff was attentive but not at all pushy or interruptive. Seating and table settings are cozy and appropriate. I’d give this place 10 stars but 5 will have to do as that’s the limit. I also should have taken pictures….and now I think about it after the fact.

It is breakfast restaurant for Virgin Hotel. Location is good while it's hard to find a parking space nearby. Their menu is typical American breakfast and their potato is so good! Pricing is not cheap but still affordable I think. Coffee can be improved. The portion was small and not really good coffee.

My girlfriends and I went for brunch at Miss Ricky’s. The Hog omelette served my taste buds and I must say their potatoes were yum and well baked! They even served us a latte from their cafe! The service was impeccable. ⭐️ The ambience was catchy. The only confusing part was the placement of the valet desk after entering the restaurant which I mistook for reception!

Meh. Coffee wasn't good and costs $4 a cup. And the food was not tasty and really expensive for what you get. The chicken from the chicken and waffle was the only good thing.

We try to stop at Wildberry for breakfast but we have to wait for 2hrs!!! It incredible!! We look on Google and find the restaurant call " Miss Ricky", so we stop here. The food is okay but the place and waitress is good. We order American Breakfast and my daughter order buttermilk pancakes, it little bit burn for the pancakes and I complaine about that.

Funky restaurant entrance welcome you with hundreds of necktie with a bright neon sign. Food were good and services was friendly and attentive. A place place to get a quick bite when you are in the hurry.

Enjoyed this spot for brunch - service was good and had the chicken and waffles which were so good. I'd definitely come back here just for that dish!

My boyfriend and I went for dinner there last night and I just want to say that the risotto was amazing. I kind of wish I could have it for every meal! The service was great as well. Our server, Tony, was super friendly and chatty and he made us feel very welcome. A great experience!

I really liked our waitress here - she was quick, nice and honest (straight up told me that the chicken and waffles were not worth it, which I agree with). Unfortunately, the food isn't spectacular. Kind of generic, and came to us a bit cold. I got the bacon burger, and while the portion size was good, it was overpriced and I could have gotten better food elsewhere in downtown Chicago. However, I loved the outdoor seating option.

Came here for the first time to have brunch on my bday with my bestfriend. I had the stuffed French toast & omg it was delicious 😋. My bestfriend had the breakfast sandwich, she also loved it as well. Well, definitely come back again!

We absolutely loved everything about our visit to Miss Ricky's for brunch! I had the Eggs Benedict and my friend had The 'L' Omelet and both were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was amazing! We would dine here again!

We stopped here on a whim after our river cruise. The menu is small but the food exceeded all expectations. The fried chicken sandwich, Caesar salad with chicken, and fries were all divine. The fries in particular were the best I’ve ever had- wedges but perfectly crispy and not soggy at all.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURE!!! If you want to wait forever for COLD and STALE food go ahead you'll get all that and plus some.. lazy staff and very tasteless food. My food was a combo of stale and soggy tortilla chips and queso AKA bottle mozzarella. I could have made this at home for cheaper with better flavors and at least it would have been HOT!

The outdoor seating was perfect for breakfast. Staff was all very friendly and prompt - from the host/busser who took our drink order as soon as we sat down to our server Jagger who was the perfect level of attentive/friendly. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the lemon thyme pancakes and the vegetable hash. Great atmosphere - inside the Brady Bunch was playing on the TVs. Outside ask for the swing table!

Unique place, nice atmosphere. We went for brunch. Food was somewhat original and very tasty. Drinks were strong but not overpowered. Service was great. Great value and fun place

When we arrived we're smelling a kind of confined air..The service was correct, when I ask another table they arranged that immediately. My friend meal was fresh and good. Mine was a regular eggs omlett with lot of veggie.. I felt the mushrooms was not fresh, so all in all I wasn't really satisfied, thanks to my food.

First time in Chicago so Miss Ricky’s is a definite go to! Service is exceptional, our server Lamar was fantastic! Courteous, knowledgeable, and gave insight to some of Chicago’s most premier venues! Food was superb! I had the steak and eggs with French Toast and I will recommend 10/10. Miss Ricky’s will most definitely be a landmark for years to come!!!

Went for breakfast because it was close to the hotel. Wasn't sure what to expect but the service and food were excellent! Five star!

Family brunch while Visiting Chicago. Good range of brunch and lunch options on the menu. The pancakes were delicious but banana would’ve been a nice option. The steak and eggs went down very well as did the omelettes, and the burger was delicious. We were a party of five and everybody was very happy with their food. Interesting aesthetic, some good family size tables. It’s worth booking ahead as the venue is quite small. Great central location close to everything on the magnificent mile and the Riverside walk. ask the hostess about the ties on the wall!

Was in Chicago for the Marathon. I stayed at the hotel next door. Went into the diner twice. Friday Morning and Monday morning. Had the Churro French toast and Eggs Benedict. The food was great. The French toast probably the better of the 2 options I had. The biggest difference was the service. On Friday morning, the waiting staff were prompt, courteous, attentive and took an interest. I got a free refill of Coffee during my brief time. Conversely, the Monday morning, despite being no more busy than Friday, I was left waiting for ~10mins to be spoken to, much less furnished with a menu. (Apparently the paper menu I was given on Friday was an anomaly and I needed to scan the QR code on the table.) People that arrived after myself were served before me. My coffee took a further 5 mins to arrive, when the food did arrive after another 10mins of being sat at a table. I did not have any utensils to actually eat it with. No free refill was offered. The bill when it came was wrong (With hindsight, I wish I hadn't mentioned it!) And when I did leave there was no acknowledgement. It seems that how you come away from Miss Rickys will depend entirely on who was working on the day. I'd have given 4/5 for the Friday and only 2/5 for Monday. Hence the 3/5 rating overall.

They served some awesome chicken and waffles. And the mimosas are most definitely on point. I can wait to travel back to Chicago just so I can eat at this place again. Oh there is no parking near. You'll have to walk or ride share. I highly recommend 👌🏾

??? Rating should at least be at 4 stars. I’ve had two separate brunches here in Chicago; both with fantastic prompt service and tasty food. Don’t miss out on the shrimp and grits. Look forward to the third time!

Hubby and I had breakfast on Labor Day. The server and staff were very welcoming and personable. The atmosphere was great, and the food was awesome. This will be our "go to" breakfast spot when visiting Chicago.
