Such great food and drinks - we stopped by for drinks and appetizers! They’ve got a good variety of ciders and I also tried Sunset Dreams cocktail and it was in fact this dreamy pink color and so good! The poutine tasted as good as it looked and so did the fried cheese curds. They have a limited tavern menu between lunch and dinner but it still has some nice options on it! Looking forward to going back and trying more as everything sounded delicious!

I am a tad burger obsessed, and Farm Bar easily has one of the top five burgers I’ve had. The burger patty itself has the perfect fat content, the perfect meaty flavor, and they always cook it exactly how I’ve asked. The bun is buttery and a perfect pillow for the burger to be nestled in. I am drooling just thinking about having one right now. This bone marrow though- wowza. Not that it needs anything else, but they serve it with a whole head of roasted garlic for the bread too. It’s…an insanely divine dish. Go get it. Farm Bar is a dream. 😍

Food here was amazing, particularly the cheese curds. Also one of the best turkey burgers I’ve had. I chose 4 stars because the service wasn’t amazing, but this very well may have just been an off night as staff seemed really busy

We love Farm Bar. I always feel like they should be for special occasions because they are so classy but their prices warrant more regular visits. Every vegetarian (and other happy eaters) need to try the beet Reuben sandwich. The beets have a subtle smokiness that’ll make your heart melt.

First place in a wille who cooks meet the way you ordered it, if you asked for medium rare it is! They know the difference between medium well and well done , and etc… will return !

Farm Bar is a cute trendy bar in Lakeview. With lots of American staples in a classier fashion, you'll have plenty to enjoy. I got the fried chicken sandwich, and it was really tasty but I have some notes. I wish the breading stayed on it a bit better because while the chicken and the breading individually were delicious, they were super great together. Also, I enjoyed the ketchup with the fries. On Tuesdays they donate part of the bill to charity and there’s no extra cost which is cool too.

This place has a nice atmosphere. Felt very crowded inside so we sat outside (has about 7 tables on Wellington Ave). Service was good but can be a little slow. Food unfortunately was basic. Ordered a burger, a sandwich and a salad. The salad was nice and the burger was great, but the sandwich (fish) was a disappointment with almost no seasoning. Also the burger and fish sandwich look identical (see photos) which is not a deal breaker, but somewhat a miss in my opinion. We wanted some dessert, but at the end our waiter started serving other tables and wasn't reachable so we decided on eating dessert somewhere else.

Lovely original cocktails and simple menu with great food. Recommend the whitefish if you’re a fan of a good fish and chip dish. Splendid smoked cherry chip Manhattan. P.s. Bring your own fan for a hot summer evening

Good spot for brunch. Decent cheese curds, fantastic Veggie Hash (made way better by adding chorizo!), and solid Bloody Mary. The Wisconsin Pimento Sandwich was fine, but the English muffin used tasted like it was from the freezer - not nearly to the quality of everything else. Overall a very solid place. Please note - they add a “3% processing fee” which most people will never notice. I always call this out and deduct a star in my rating for places that tack on fees, rather than pricing things inclusively like most places do.

farm bar was really good! My friend had the chicken sandwich and loved it! The farm burger was excellent. The french fries were tasty. They had a house beer that was made with the owners honey that he has on his farm. It was really tasty!

This place is adorable! The ambience is perfect, a cute little corner place in the city! Good food too! And the staff was extremely sweet, will definitely be back!

Pretty good and large portions of fish and chips. I actually might like it more than Duke of Perth, which is kinda the go to spot in the area. Fish was very fresh, light, and crispy. I like that they do a large fillet instead of sticks or smaller pieces because the ratio of fish to batter is better, but that often makes it more difficult to fry well so kudos to them. Cheese curds were probably my fav I've tried. Fries were crispy but kinda standard thin fast food style. My cocktail was decent but they had a good selection along with wines that seemed well curated. Very lively and busy on a Friday night but they'll let you do bar seating and service was still attentive. Definitely see why it's so busy for dinner. I noticed afterwards positive reviews about the desserts so I wish they'd asked if we wanted anything or coffee, but next time.

I recently visited Farm Bar with my cousin, and even without a reservation, our experience was fantastic! We decided to sit at the bar, where the bartender was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. My cousin opted for the grilled cheese on tomato soup, and I went with the breaded pork chop. Both dishes were delicious, but the pork chop truly stole the show. Cooked to perfection, it left a lasting impression on my taste buds. The lack of a reservation didn't pose any issues; instead, it added to the spontaneous and welcoming atmosphere. Farm Bar is a hidden gem with friendly staff and mouthwatering food—I'll definitely be back for that pork chop!

We went for brunch the other day, and the aesthetic of this restaurant is immaculate. My avocado toast was superb, and the Bees Knees is a must (the little honeycomb candy is an adorable and tasty accessory to the cocktail)

Starting with the great stuff: fantastic food, beautiful decor and friendly staff. The cheese curds really are to die for! The brunch menu is filled with incredible options. The Eggs Benedict was delicious! I wanted to try everything and I'm very excited to return so I can. Also can't wait to try the new location in Ravenswood!!! Next the only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board. I visited on a Sunday and it was incredibly busy (great for them!!). For me it unfortunately felt physically very crowded. My seat has its back to an aisle and every person that walked past bumped me even though I was pushed as far into the table as possible. It was incredibly loud between the music, small space and full tables so that it was hard to have a conversation (which felt weird at noon on a Sunday). So my only thing would be that I think they've arranged it to fit as many people as possible (which I fully get from a business standpoint) but it leads to a less than ideal dining experience during rush hours.

My husband and I had a great dining experience - we decided to try our luck with no reservations and we were able to sit at the bar. Even on a Wednesday night, they were busy, so reservations are probably a good idea. We started with cocktails and the cheese curds which were prepared perfectly with a delicious dipping sauce that had the perfect amount of heat to complement the heavy cheese curds - highly recommend. My husband enjoyed the flank steak and I had the salmon - both were fresh, delicious and perfectly prepared. We finished with the apple cider doughnuts - so good! Pleasant attentive service, delicious food.

What a place to have dinner! All the food was delicious: the brussel sprouts came with the most delicious pork belly and apples, the burger was very tasty and the chicken cooked to perfection, charred outside and tender and juicy inside. Robert was super nice to us as well. 10/10.

Amazing servers and bar tenders. Lots of mocktail options. Food was very good. Had the roast chicken, the chicken sandwich, the pretzel, the curds and a brownie. The curds are a must-have! Both the curds and pretzel came out piping hot! Highly recommend and we will come back

I guess this is a crowd favorite dating place. Seatings are full of people trying to get to know each other. It’s sure has a lot of patron on a weekday night, mostly young adults. The food is great, it taste fresh and the mushroom burger satisfied my texture pallate. I did miss the ambiance of a lively restaurant but it also gave you some anxiety because of the pandemic.

This was a good brunch spot. I got the breakfast tacos and enjoyed them. My wife got the avocado toast with an egg and she liked that. My kids also enjoyed their items of the kids menu. The best thing we ate was the breakfast poutine! Make sure you get that! I give it 4 stars rather than 5 because 1) my daughter's meal was called "eggs, bacon, and toast" and she didn't get toast (which she wanted) and we ended up having to pay a few dollars extra to get a side of toast. 2) it's pretty cold/drafty here. Everything else was great.

The pork sandwich was awesome. I initially thought it was going to be too thick and difficult to eat, but it wasn't. Super delicious. The smokey Manhattan was amazing. Also, some of the best cheese curds I've tasted both in and outside of WI. We used to frequent this place when it was the old Packaged Goods corner bar, and love how they've turned it around to something new.

Delicious comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of libations and a friendly, attentive staff. Farm Bar is one of my favorite Chicago neighborhood hangouts!

8pm on a Saturday night and there was outside and bar seating available - we sat at the bar which I recommend as the atmosphere of this place is as described: relaxing and inviting. Friendly staff at the bar. Drinks: if you like bourbon, get the Smoked Manhattan you won’t regret it. Food: we had one of their burgers and the pork chop sandwich - both delicious. The pork chop was particularly good - not something I would normally order but I followed a tip from another reviewer. Topped with caramelized apples and perfectly tender. I will come here again. Really a nice local spot. Great little meeting place or date night place.

We had the cheese curds which were excellent. For entrees we had the harvest burger and the classic burger which were both cooked perfectly and very flavorful. To drink I had the Touchwood cider which is on the sweet side and I really enjoyed it but they also have dryer ciders. Definitely recommend.

I've walked by this place all the time and have never gone before, so glad we finally decided to come! I had the M-43 but there are a ton of great speciality cocktails on the menu, so I'd go for one of those. The chicken sandwich was UNREAL, I can't wait to go back and get it. Next time I'll probably order one of their specialty burgers though. Will be back soon!

Sat outside at a picnic table. With kids we were still able to find good food for everyone and extraordinarily fast service. Everything was delicious to really top it off.

Went there for dinner with a few of our friends just recently. Very friendly atmosphere, and the house drinks were fantastic. Our server Veronica did an amazing job too, and made us feel welcome. Will come back ☺️.

I was here for Sunday brunch and let me tell you I was shocked at how cute the experience was! Staff was wonderful, the vibes were a lowkey energetic trendy farmhouse (farmhouse and trendy can exist in harmony as demonstrated here) and the music was 2000s perfection. I got the Farmer's breakfast and WOAH was it delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the veggies in them tasted crunchy and fresh. The rye bread was soft, warm and flavourful and the fresh strawberry jam complimented the bread perfectly. Be sure to get the potatoes because they looked fresh from the ground before the grill and tasted phenomenal in the spicy sauce on the side. I am already planning my next meal to come back!
