This is the Back of the Yards gym. I really enjoyed this fitness center. It is clean, many treadmills and very nice staff. I highly recommend!

I have been a member of this PF for quite some time now. I do not like the manager she is rude and not welcoming. They need better customer service. It feels like this PF is going downhill. The equipment has been broken and they're not repairing it and every summer it feels like the AC is not turned up which makes it hot to work out at. Last time the AC was broken.

The first month was great. The staff was nice but now I see new faces. But the last month of may has been horrible. They are allowing students to come workout for free (which is great) but not when they are just playing and not using machines. I pay for my membership and it is not fair that I have to Wait to use machines that “students” who do NOT PAY are just playing with. The staff is not attentive with keeping the students in track. Basically it’s a playground for them but I have to pay full amount for a membership and more than half of the machines are not available. I would go earlier in the day but sadly my work schedule does not allow. I hope the staff can be more responsible with keeping the gym up to part this summer or I might have to switch my home club or gym overall.

Huge gym for only 10 dollars , open 24/5 go in daily, and staff is usually chill

The most ghetto planet fitness ive been to ever. Always atleast 7 machines broken. Forget about going anytime from 3-5. Always full but the crowd meter says its 1/5 full? Wild.

I know it's planet fitness!! But this particular location is absolutely filty!! All the machinery is covered in dust ,sweat,hairs n such..smelles .there's visible trash, mens bathrooms n shower facilities are🤢🤮🤮

Although the machines seem to be clean and available every time I come in, the AC is always “broken” every visit, the reason for a gym membership is to have access to place that is comfortable and safe to workout in. When temps are over 80 plus degrees and high humidity and they do not turn on the AC gives the impression they don’t care about the members or their safety. Not one time I’ve entered this facility this summer do they have any air conditioning.

Stopped in and regretted going to the locker room. Floor was noted to be filthy, jumped in the shower and took an ice cold shower. I brought the cold water concern to the desk woman and was told I should’ve told them and they would’ve reset the water heater. What was I supposed to do shout from the shower as the water immediately turned cold? Never again. Possibly discourage shower takers to save money?

Today, January 12, 2023, someone broke in the locker I was using and stole my chain. I have been coming to this location for 2 years. This is the first time this has happened, but during my time here I have seen employees leave the front desk unattended, all the time. I have see homeless people inside. The location is where there’s a lot of homeless people, so given the chance, they come in. If I have noticed this, I know employees have. The employees are friendly but there’s still not a lot of customer service. If I was able to travel to another location, I would.

I really give this gym 0 stars. Today at 7:30pm 10/01 and Hispanic homeless walked right pass front desk never signed in and used the showers in the facility. I informed the workers and a female employee checked it out. But she never asked the lady to leave. I think had the woman not been Hispanic. (Because the workers are Hispanic) she would have gotten put out.

The young lady working in the morning is so rude and unprofessional just yelling at people for no reason she even made me responsible for following a sign that the gym had on the mirror and said it was my fault for following those instructions. The day prior she yelled at me for having a sanitizing bottle on the floor when we're supposed to take one with us while working out and everyone has them on the floor, where else? It's a shame that this gym has this type of unprofessional staff treating customers like that. Here's a photo of the sign that this lady yelled at me for saying it states"everyone must wear a mask at all times" she also yelled at me saying that she can read. Someone please tell this lady what it says.

Probably the worst location! The Smith Machines are sooo rusty and creek as you do any exercise. Literally felt like the machine was gonna collapse.

The manager at this location is very nice and flexible. She accommodates timing on hydro beds unlike every other PF that gives you 5-10 minutes. She is professional and hard working. Thank you! Also, this place is always clean and relaxing. 👍🏼

I got to this location because of easy access to my children's school.However the gym is the 2nd worst planet fitness I have been to.. The showers are cold water and I bring my own cleaning supplies because the always seem to be hair and other items left by the patrons.

Has the old treadmills that don’t connect to Apple Watch. Has very few machines. Some parts of the gym were dirty. Equipment left around the whole place. Overall very messy.

Ive been to Planet Fitnesses all over and I have never been to one quite this bad. Felt like i was walking into a gang hangout where everyone knew each other and was just hanging out. I cut my workout short and left without tanning. Super uncomfortable at least at night.

Very dirty bathrooms need attention showers as well and the machines dirty paper all over on the ground … walk in no one greets you but you see that the workers are laying down in the massage beds !

Very nice employees here. They deserve a raise as they are accommodating and always keep this place clean! The manager is very nice as well. She’s professional and keeps this place looking good 👍🏼

ALWAYS clean and friendly staff! This location makes you want to come and work out! I love it here

Your lockers need to be fixed. 6 screen tvs don't work. And where's your open Wi-Fi? Your kid employees are not helpful or friendly they have this I'm so cool attitude.

I came as a new member and Santiago Escobar attended me, this young guy is very kind and help me with the transitions. He have a10 from me, good costumer service.

Great gym. Staff are always around if u needed them they mostly stand around talking to each other but they still pay close attention to guest coming in and greet and welcome u properly. They equipment is always clean the locker rooms and bathrooms are as well. I always go early mornings because it's less people in the 5am 6am hour. I will continue to visit this location

We’ve been coming here for a few months and are so happy we signed up at this gym instead of others in the area. The place is clean, never super crowded, lots of equipment to choose from, friendly staff.

A calming and safe environment. Most definitely will come back. I recommend this place if you like to workout in an environment where there is not that many people.

Thank you for helping me on my Journey, I will be coming til the end of February 2023 then I’ll be relocating to Atlanta in March, but I will find a Planet Fitness there and I’m gonna miss coming here and the staff here.

The outside of the locker room with the equipment is clean…but the locker room showers r nasty…i went there 3xs last week and 3 showers was dirty…i gave it the benefit of the doubt and seen they still haven’t been clean/sanitized…The same old soap was still on the floor, hair clogging the shower vents, and old soap boxes…i will not b back…because they may just pick the stuff up and not clean it

Everything! I always have a machine to use; staff is courteous and always keeping the gym clean!

I really enjoy working out at this planet fitness. It’s always clean and I never have any problems getting on machines or using available weights.

If I could give more stars, I would. To start off as a mom of two and currently pregnant again, cleanliness is something I pay incredible attention to and this gym certainly meets ALL of those criteria.

Walk in the door employees are not friendly. Some equipment out of service. And plastic is peeled off too.& paper in in the floor, yeah it's ghetto. Place..

The abs and core and stretching area is pretty big unlike little village location new machines and new massage chairs

The location and workers are awesome. The General Trainers are very helpful even if you don't have a personal trainer. After each usage, all the equipment is washed and sanitized. The environment and music made me feel passionate. I have shaped my body here. The service was extraordinary. Service five-star!

Very friendly and helpful staff! They also provide spray bottles to sanitize equipment which maintains the gym clean. At this location, masks are not required if you are fully vaccinated. Overall, I had no issues and had a great first impression of Planet Fitness.

My first day back at the gym was Monday.. I have really bad Anxiety & prayed I didn't get anyone rude. Ivan helped me set up my account with no problem. He was very Informative, Professional & Friendly. The place was so laid back & clean. People working out minding their business. I love it🌻

I enjoy coming to this gym. The staff is real friendly. Also, they do a good job of keeping this place clean.

They are in like manner prepared to help you if whenever you have clarifications! I'm unreasonably happy to the point that I find this spot since they helped my assurance!

Nice gym. Had enough room to park my semi truck and get a workout in. Mens Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but overall good gym.

Great gym, people are respectful during my workout hours. leaky roof are a problem at this gym. The roof needs some repairs.

I've been a member for a week and can't imagine not going. People are wonderful, informative, and helpful for you to reach your goals.

I knew about planet fitness but I didn't know that was good at first, but after I went there as a guest by my friend I have to say that was a really good place, everything was mostly clean it was looking incredible, and the place just in the incide looks amazing, and there is enough machines for everyone so I have say that is a really good place and yeah even free of judgment as one time my friend was told he wasn't looking good thanks of his appearance but the person that did it, was eliminated from the system of planet fitness, good place and free of judgment.

Just started going here and I love it! Great atmosphere and tons of equipment.

This gym is really in bad conditions for some time now, there is paper towels all over the floor, sometimes there are not paper towels on the stations, its always leaking water of the ceiling and u see buckets all over the floor or water on floor, the bathrooms are always dirty, the water fountain sometimes they drag to change filter, machines are dirty or broken down, i think this specific gym needs some inspection if they are not going to fix it, its really cold to work out how u suppose to work out in this conditions. 🤢🤮
