Great atmosphere, nice bartenders. Only had potatoe skins. I suggest more bacon, less chives. Increase the price $1 if you need to.

One of my favorite neighborhood bars! The atmosphere is always great and the bartenders are super friendly. The one thing I'm always impressed with is how good the food is, especially the wings. They get packed when Michigan State games are on, but most other times it's a pretty chill spot!

Great place to hang out, very laid back and comfortable atmosphere. Plenty of good beer options and the cocktails are made well. Food is tasty and they do takeout too. Friendly staff and big TVs for games. This place gets packed when there’s a popular game on tv, which makes it very fun. Just be sure to get there early enough if you want a seat.

Av Tav is everything you want and need in a neighborhood bar. The staff is friendly and know your name (and your order! which let’s be honest, is most important!). The drinks are cold and the food is great. The wings are a fan favorite!

I have loved this place every since I moved to Chicago six and a half years ago. They have never let me down. I've never been disappointed in the food (particularly their chicken fingers and fries). Plus, they usually have great drink specials. We bring everyone that visits us from out of town to Avenue Tavern. We even hosted a birthday party and they were very accommodating. Great place! One of my favorites!

Came to this place while visiting friends for some much needed food and drinks after final exams. Avenue Tavern itself is pretty small, so make sure you get here early so you can snag a table. This place is great to come and watch the game with friends on one of several TVs in the bar. There are plenty of drink specials - they have well drink specials on Wednesdays for $3, which is an awesome deal! The food was equally as awesome and come in large portions! My group tried the burger and chicken tenders with tater tots. These items were good and the staff/service was amazing. Overall, great place to chill, hang out while grabbin' a bite to eat!

Our local bar since we moved in and it never disappoints. Always shows the Confederations Cup games. Each day of the week they have different drink deals on. When we went pitchers were a bargain at only $10 for a miller lite. Good atmosphere to the place too!

Great neighborhood bar. You will find this place packed during Cubs and Bears games. There is a good rotating drink selection and a modest food menu. You can spend an evening here with relatively small bill.

Lots of seating for this place, but at the same time it's still lively! I got a margarita pitcher for $16 and it was really good. If you go bar hopping, make sure to stop by this place to watch some sports.

Definitely a great place to be for the Chicago Marathon. THEY FEED YOU FOR FREE WHILE YOU DRINK AND CHEER ON THE RUNNERS! #Marketing101 Great ambience. It's a fun place to visit even if you're not there for the Chicago Marathon. Very gay friendly as well.
