I discovered this place when delivering for Amazon. You know, when you go to a restaurant and you look at the menu and you have no idea what to order because you’ve never tasted or even seen any of the dishes? This was my first time in a Colombian restaurant. Stop and check it out. You will like it. Would be a perfect place for a date accept it’s busy especially at dinner time. They have outside dining tables as well. I have a friend in Medellin, Colombia and it seems like the menu is a bit different than their local obviously. He recommended these: ‘Paisa tray, cheese mote, egg arepa, salted meat stew or beef rib’, but everyone has a different taste. 🙏

I drive by this place almost all the time. For a year wanted to eat there one day. So we finally did and was a bit disappointed. The food was not that great it was pretty dry no taste if you ask me but the smoothie was the best thing there which was passion fruit with milk. I try to ask the server questions and she didn't know anything she had to stop and ask the cook. It wasn't what I saw on their web. Probably won't go back there anytime soon. It was just ok! Oh and the tostones were very dry. Sorry, my opinion just wasn't for me. But the Smoothie definitely was delicious!!

Best Colombian food I've had in the US. Being far from home is not always an easy task, especially when you start missing the food. This place brings you a lot closer home. They have great food and service. We had the Bandeja Paisa; beans were on point, and the chorizo and chicharron were amazing. Empanadas were really good and have a really good "salsa rosada" that I hadn't seen in a while! Overall an amazing experience.

Came to check out this tiny little spot that did not disappoint. We are fans of Colombian cuisine and super critical since it is native to my adoptive parents. The food was delicious, shout out to the salad, it was very impressive! The meats were perfectly cooked and overall we were satisfied. Sidenote: The menus in-house do not have prices, which I found a little odd. All line items default to MP - Market Price, but they weren't serving seafood. I'm not familiar with every item on a menu being market price. 🤔 And after the bill came I was a bit shocked that the food was so expensive.

What a fun & delicious spot by Humboldt Park. We had a group of 7, but the server was super nice about it and offered to split checks up front. There is a service fee for groups of 6 or more which added a few bucks to each check but totally worth it since service was excellent and friendly! Also food came out promptly. I highlight recommend the beef empanadas or trying one of the many Arepas they offer. Next time I would try the veggie one which looked really good. I got the chicken and mushroom one- it came with a TON of gooey melted cheese. I was expecting chopped chicken but it was more of a stewed, shredded chicken which is more traditional. Overall great vibe in the place, very casual and bright Easy street parking on side streets just watch for street cleaning signs otherwise it’s pay for park on the busy street.

I was honestly a bit letdown by this spot. The service was very friendly, but the food itself really left something to be desired. I tried the vegan arepa, and though it was fresh, it was also fairly bland. I felt as though all flavor derived from the side sauces. Unfortunately can't say I'm likely to return.

so delicious. i was looking for a good meal while i study and they did not disappoint. i got the arroz con pollo which comes as rice and peas with tasty shredded chicken and smoky sausage, and some sweet platanos on the side. i put the mild green sauce on it 🤤 rica the meal was filling and felt healthier than what i usually pickup for food, more like a home made meal. i will probably come here often when i don't feel like cooking. to drink i had jugo de mango made with water, which is thicker than regular juice but thinner than a smoothie. that hit the spot, but my first word was mango so you know i love it 🥭 i dont like milk though so the option with water is fine. will for sure come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Normally this is my go to place, but the last time I went there they didn’t see my online order until we asked about it. They brought my food out late, when I checked the bag it was the wrong order. I went back in and told them it wasn’t mine, they just were like oh… here’s your order we handed you the wrong bag. The empanadas which are usually amazing. This time they were overcooked, under filled and just bad. It’s the 1st time I felt like I could’ve made them better at home. Normally they’re soft and crunchy, filled with plantains and cheese (my go to order). Disappointed because of all of this, for the first time I felt like I should’ve went to a different restaurant for food. I hope their service and preparation improves to their previous levels.

You MUST try this place! Found this place online for takeout South American food. The menu had wonderful choices and made a large order. Shortly thereafter they politely called me to get my sides choices because I forgot to fill them out. So helpful. When I got there to pick up the food, they immediately greeted me professionally and warmly, and let me know it was being bagged. While I waited the very few minutes, I checked out the cozy place. It was cute and spotless. I could even see a bit of the kitchen--super clean. And it smelled amazing. The scents made my mouth water. I got the food to my friends' home and the food was even better than I anticipated--and I had high hopes. Fresh ingredients, great spicing and the food cooked perfectly. Can't wait until next time!

The food was amazing! Celiac friendly. Different flavor flans.

A lovely cute little spot. Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free and safe for coeliac- just double check with the manager or chef that nothing breaded has been in the frier that day. Reasonably priced and large portions. Highly recommend the empanadas and bandeja paisa.

I visited this place craving for a bandeja paisa. When ordering the server suggested to upgrade the steak for churrasco and I agreed. The plate looked good but in my opinion needed more seasoning, the steak servedwas bad quality filled with tendons and fat. When I got my check they charged me $28 plus $5 of the churrasco upgrade that I couldn't eat. I believe $33 for a bandeja paisa is way too much.

I hope this restaurant never closes cuz the best thing ever. Their empanadas are to die for. What I like about this restaurant is that even if you don't want to have beef their chicken is super delicious too, I omit cheese when I get chicken arepa and still tastes delicious. Their meat dishes of course are excellent too. My mouth is watering as I think of their food right now laugh. Might stop again this week

I really enjoyed dinner here. We originally ordered it to go but when we picked it up, it looked like it was about to rain and they graciously set us up with a table and served us. No fuss. Super friendly. Food was delicious

Lovely Columbian food and juices. Love all the arepas, and the arroz con pollo from the lunch menu is a lot of value. I keep coming back!

My favorite place in Humboldt Park n actually in chicago, their empanadas are the best and corn, I’d had only flour before, non Colombian, and i can say these are the best by far, their arepas are to die for , i usually get the chicken in creole sauce but I’ve tried all of them, their meat dishes are excellent too and excellent soups. Everything is super delicious and the staff are super sweet

Authentic Colombian Food!! Empanadas are great. We had Cheese and Plantain Empanada and Vegetarian Arepa is also really good. My friend had Coffee Flan which was delicious. They Do NOT have any Eggless/Vegan Dessert😔😔 Rest all is good. But out server gave us this Colombian treat which is Guava Snack which had fresh guava taste.

Allison is very attentive and helpful/friendly. It was our first time trying Colombian food, and it was absolutely delicious. She is a gem and surprised us with a coffee dessert at the end! Highly highly recommend it, both I and my father loved it. Thank you!
