The playground is in desperate need of updating. There are cracks on the slides, craters of water where the swings are, and literally a rope holding together a ladder where kids climb.

I've visited this park for a few years, either to run or as last year we came to see the Cuban fest and the place is big. The park has an outdoor pool and in the winter it is converted to Ice Skating. There is plenty of parking inside and as well as street parking. There is also a small lake so you can just walk around it.

Nice sized park in a safe neighborhood where a lot of people take kids, have family gatherings or bbqs, soccer games, etc. They have several different playgrounds for the kids which is really cool. Went for a bbq but would definitely go back.

Beautiful turf soccer field. Bathrooms were in the northeast field house. Must bring your own nets, lots If bird droppings on the field. Would recommend parking on Meade to quickly access the field but it’s one way going south.

Amazing playground! New ropes course and rubber mounds were fun. Can't wait to come back when the water play area is turned on. Also, on our bike ride through Riis Park, we saw a turtle, baby ducks and geese, and beautiful restoration sites. Will be riding here again soon.

I have been coming to this park since my childhood. Although that was over twenty years ago, I still visit this park from time to time. My most recent visit was this weekend. I wanted to take my son sledding to try out his new sled, and was looking for a park with decent hills. I remember sledding here once before, and I cannot believe I did not think of this place sooner. I searched yelp to find places for sledding, and this was one if the results. There are a good amount of people that gather here to go sledding when it snows but it is never overly crowded. The hills themselves are not very steep but they are a decent size. These hills are perfect for younger kids trying to get used to sleds and looking to spend some time in the snow before graduating to bigger hills. It is also conveniently located across the street from the brickyard shopping center. There are lots of stores for shopping and restaurants for eating with the family after everyone is exhausted. If you're looking for a place to spend a snow day, this place is perfect. I know I'll be returning tomorrow for more sledding.

Great little oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Lots of green space and big trees. It seem bigger than it is and makes you feel you’re out in the country. Awesome place to get away from it all.

Huge Park which is perfect for picnics and watching your kids play. Has 2 playgrounds in the North and South sides of the park. It's close to nearby stores perfect for buying stuff you need for the park by a quick drive or a walk. Has a Soccer Field which people can play in. Only thing is I can only find 2 Porta Potty's. Perfect for walks and biking. Many people selling food in the park and Ice Cream which is very Delicious. Basically you can have a great time relaxing. Even has a tennis court.

👍👍 The playground at Lake Shore Park is a great playground in Streeterville. There is a small and simple play structure for younger children and a much larger structure for older children with a few slides, climbing elements, and more. There is also the standard set of Chicago Park swings (toddler, ada...
