This park is in need of an update. It is also highly unmaintained. The concrete is fairly rough but not as bad as a 31st Street Park which is completely ridiculous. For those who wear knee pads be warned that the rough concrete will grip on them and tear them right off. The pool is pretty fun the transitions are not super tight but years and years of the graffiti being painted over makes part of a bowl very slick while other parts are sticky. Surprisingly, Chicago decided not to put any bathroom facilities for the park. It seems like the City built something and then left it to its own means. All the other fields in the area like the baseball park and soccer fields are highly maintained. I wish the city would understand that skateboard parks need to be maintained as well. As far as the designs features go, the park is definitely behind the times and updated.

Awesome cement skatepark, the transitions are smooth and accommodating. The park has a two bowls one more like a swimming pool and one with capsules and bowls tied together. If you haven't been here I suggest you go. It can be full during the weekend s as it is FREE so plan ahead if you want uninterrupted skating. Large parking lot for parking and the skate park is free.

I love coming to this place to clear my head. This has been a staple of uptown. Been coming here since a kid. You will always see beginner drivers there practicing in the huge lot they have there. You will always see some skateboarders or a baseball game going on. It has a great view of lake shore dr. Just a great place to come. If you don’t take my word for it go see for yourself.

Gigantic bowl with metal adapting and a more modest round pool with substantial lip. Road course is more modest yet the banks are sufficiently close to keep up speed. All the substantial is smooth however the bowl has some wavy parts in the advances and flaky paint in places.

Big stair set with ledges, manual pad, big box ledge, mellow pyramid, big donut bowl with an extension, and a nice regular bowl next to it. It would be five stars if concrete was smooth. It's rough but definitely not the worst. This place has a lot, and is still one of my favorite stops in Chicago for skating.

For vert skaters, this Wilson has a great pool, and few people who use it. It's a free municipal park, but there's now a $2/hr fee to use the parking lot.

The ramps are big and are for more advanced riders. The vibes are not great and bowls feel a little bumpy. Otherwise it's rideable

Huge bowl with metal coping and a smaller round pool with concrete lip. Street course is smaller but the banks are close enough to keep up speed. All the concrete is smooth but the bowl has some wavy parts in the transitions and flaky paint in places.

2 awsome shaped bowls, 1 of them 'pool style', and a decent street section. pay to park is a turn off/downfall, free parking on the steet tho, good luck.
