Absolutely loved it in my very recent visiting, Best time to visit is between 5 pm to closing. We can enjoy Day view, Sun set & city with millions of lights…! The lake view from here is crazy. As usual parking is difficult & paid parking are available too. There are tons of reasons to say this is one of the best place to visit always.

Definitely some gorgeous views at the Sears Tower. The sky deck is definitely a fun/scary experience to be able to step out onto the glass 103 floors up will give you some perspective. The elevator ride is extremely fast taking only around 2 minutes. Everything leading up to that is kind of a brief but interactive history of Chicago and the tower.

We absolute had so much fun here. 360 view of the city, especially we enjoyed the glass door portion and you are looking down, really thrilling experience. Amazing view of the city. We went there early, if you are going there in summer time, long line expected.

Always an amazing experience here! Staff is very helpful! Tickets are not pricey, went on a Monday which was nice not crowded at all! A lot to see very beautiful view we got tickets for 5pm got there at 430 then let us in and by the time we got up to the sky deck from all the things to see before you make it up there the sun was setting so the view was 10x better! Clean all around definitely coming back at different times

1st time here! We bought our tickets in advance and recommend anyone to do so. You can buy tickets on a kiosk here. It was easy to find where to go. Definitely tons of souvenirs, food options, and photo ops. There’s a screen by the entrance that says what times they are boarding. It changes 15 minutes before the next time.

Nice restaurants and beautiful interior open to the public. Everybody talks about the SkyDeck, which is nice, but the bottom floors open to the public are even nicer. They're really clean and there are multiple lobbies with great seats. There's also a variety of restaurants on the ground floor, so you can take your pick of what you'd like to eat.

Its was absolutely stunning view of city. Just grab a drink and find a place to sit and you can enjoy your evening perfectly. The place is always crowded so it’s advisable to book it. One of the top most things to do while you are in Chicago.

What an amazing place! I was here 20 years ago when it was sears tower. I went during the week and the line was pretty short. It is so cool to go up that high and see in every direction. The walkout room is crazy but worth it for sure. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome landscape on Chicago. Price is a bit high but it worth going up to have a look. I chose to go to the tower a bit late in order to look at the sunset. There are glass balcony here so you can feel how it is to be so high.

Went here with my Uncle in December 2022 and we loved it!! The views are amazing!! These are all his pictures, mine are on the computer. On the way up there is a gift shop and a historical exhibit about the Sears tower and the city of Chicago's Architecture. When you get to the very top it gets a little windy and you can feel it but it's not bad. I'm very scared of heights and I enjoyed this and would come back!! Don't rule it out if you have a fear!!!

Touristy? Yes. But wow. This is such an important part of skyscraper history. I love that they have a little historical museum before you ride up! Incredible views, but be sure and monitor the weather before you go up. Staff was friendly and helpful too.

Beautiful views. A little pricey. We did not pay extra for the expedited tickets, the wait wasn’t too bad, but be prepared to stand for awhile waiting in line for elevator. They allow only one Minute in the pop out windows, so know what photos you want to take in advance. Would still recommend checking it out, the views are spectacular.

Definitely worth a visit to see Chicago from up high! We purchased Citypass tickets which included the Expedited Entry. If you plan to visit several attractions, check out the Citypass. Well worth it in my opinion. Expedited Entry gives you priority access to elevators up AND to the Ledge (the glasses step out section). And you can use the “Expedited Entry” multiple times to maximize time on the Ledge, saving a lot of time. The Ledge is cool as it gives you a sense of fear but excitement as you look down through the glass. Note, you only get 90 seconds to enjoy the moment and get pics, but with Expedited Entry you can just go and around and do another 90 seconds. Also, we timed entry at 4:30pm (around sunset). This way you get to see “day” and “night” up the tower. Highly recommend timing for sunset to get both “experiences”.

A great observation point to admire Chicago from above. I went to both 360 and Willis Tower and both seemed to me to be unmissable experiences if you visit Chicago. We were there at sunset, which made the landscape even more spectacular.

We visited Willis Tower during the Memorial day weekend, we thought we will be able to buy tickets on spot but to our surprise all the tickets were sold out till next 3 day and only One was available on their website for the entire day which was so disappointing. Speaking of Willis tower and tickets its totally worth it. The elevator was quick, there was no line at the time I went up. The view is breath taking & highlight of the tower is the The Ledge where all the visitors gets a minute to stay and take pix which is quiet less time, honestly it takes 20-30 sec for someone to adjust their self to look through the glass, remaining 40 seconds are soo less to enjoy the view. Please do increase the time to at least 1:30 min. Would love to bring my whole family next time and will buy the tickets in ADVANCE.

The Willis Tower aka the Sears Tower is well worth the visit. The views from the top were unbelievable . Truly enjoyed the visit, everyone that worked there was very knowledgeable, very friendly and willing to answer any and all questions making the experience even more enjoyable. It is truly a toss-up of whether to visit during the day to see the views that go on forever or visiting at night and seeing the City lights for miles and miles. Both were well worth the trip up the elevator.

This place is good, really good. We had to reschedule twice because of extreme fog. The staffs were really helpful. And this experience is really good. There is no sitting place above, please keep that in mind.

Sears Tower to me. I did this with the Chicago Go card. The card really does save you money but seems like it doesn’t offer a lot of times to do it. You have to make a reservation before you go. Meanwhile most people are walking in and going right up. It’s kinda crowded at the top. I went at 9 pm on a Wednesday night. But still a must do in Chicago. The building is an icon. Once the tallest in the world. Skydeck is a lot of fun and the line moves pretty quickly. I think they give you two minutes on it.

They were amazing here! It wasn’t the best day because of the clouds, but I feel it made it better. I scheduled my Navy re-enlistment here and everything went smooth! The staff Emily helped set everything up and responded so quickly via email and Greg was there the day of. There was loads of traffic that morning due to the rain and they let our whole party arrive. I don’t remember who took the pictures while we were up there, but I bought them all! He did an outstanding job. Thank you for making this a very memorable day for my family and other service members who came out to support! We had a blast and I am so grateful.

The observation deck was a cool experience! I found the Willis Tower to have a much different approach to observation decks than those in NYC. I tend to prefer the outdoor option that Top of the Rock and the Hudson Yards buildings have. Something about the open air makes the experience more immersive. Additionally, I’m not a huge fan of how the glass boxes you stand in don’t face the skyscrapers of the city. Instead, they kind of look out on the flat portion of the city. This left me feeling a little underwhelmed. With that said, I’d definitely make this a destination if you’re in the area!

Renamed to Willis Tower in 1973, Sears Tower is largest skyscraper in the world & has been an iconic part of the Chicago skyline. 110 stories high, Willis Tower stands tall giving panoramic view of the city..

Sky deck was super cool! Purchased tickets online and they were timed so it wasn’t too crowded! Before heading up to the sky deck you go through a Chicago immersion which walks you through Chicago history, architecture, and everything else that makes Chicago! The sky deck is a quick 1 min elevator right up (filled with fun facts). The views were amazing (we went at night, it was a little hard to take pics bc of the glare, but you could easily take them in some corners). The “ledge” was super neat! Organized line with time limits (60 sec for 1-2 people, 120 sec for 3+). I’d recommend expedited if it’s busy - you get to cut the lines. Def a must-go when in Chicago!

Great views, incredibly nice immersive experience before getting to the elevator - a little walk through Chicago’s history as a city along with its architecture. Visually pleasant and interactive (see pictures). The lines are long to get a picture in the ledge and you have a timed 90seconds to get your pictures, but it’s totally worth it. They also get a picture of you which you can buy afterwards for 31$ (2 printed versions). Staff is really nice and polite. Compared to 360 Chicago, it offers better views than Skydeck because it’s closer to Michigan’s shoreline but it’s still worth it.

Great view from the top of the tower. To get to the top, the walk through is cool, too. Some cool selfie opportunities along the way, as well as some good history to read. The elevator ride up is quick for how high you go as well. Once at the top, again, it's all about the view!!! You can see for miles on a clear day. On your way out, you have to get on the glass walk out over the street and cars below. Wild! Go with your friends for an enjoyable day!

This was my first time in Chicago and coming to this place was truly wonderful. Although, there was some wait, I can completely say the experience is totally WORTH IT. I would have loved more time going in the ledge's glass boxes. My recommendation is to have all your phones ready to take pictures because time goes fast. I enjoyed the views and you can really see how beautiful is Chicago. Note: Make sure you go in a day that the skies are clear ;)

Willis tower was a lot of fun, little pricey since it was a weekend and a holiday. The view were spectacular an amazing 360 of downtown Chicago. Before getting to the top there is a very fun interactive museum with the highlight of Chicago. The Willis Tower is also very good about keeping the lines moving for be walk out and they set up a timer so you don’t have to worry.

I had always wanted to come to this location and it certainly didn't disappoint. There is a parking garage that is conveniently located right across the street from the tower. It is quite expensive but if money is not an issue I recommend using it. An adult ticket cost $37 and there is a nice array of displays that you can look at on your way to the elevator that leads to the top of the tower. When you reach the top there is an amazing view of the city. There is also the Skyview where you are essentially standing right outside of the building in a transparent box. If you are afraid of height you may want to pass this. You have 60 seconds to stand in that box and enjoy the view, the pictures, etc. There is also a gift shop at the top of the tower where you can buys stuff to remember the occasion.

The Willis Tower in Chicago is a once in a life time experience, something that only a 20th/21st Century person can do. This may not be for you if you have vertigo or heights throw you off a little bit. I personally noticed that I didn't develop any known phobias until I became a father and yes I get a small tinge of fear when I'm very high up. Speaking of high up, although my ticket was free the set rate to visit this tower really climbs especially if you have a large family. Also there is a very long wait - over 3 hours. My family got the VIP treatment and when we were escorted ahead of everyone else "lickity split" - a loud roar came over the other visitors. They were not happy at all and two guys even jumped over a velvet rope partition to join my family. It was a little disconcerting but the attendants handled it well. Anyway see Chicago in a way very few might - from eagles to rivet welders - you must admit this sight has only been seen by a very few. Take a look at my pics.

My visit was prior to the beginning of the pandemic. Yet, I didn't want to miss the chance of saying how wonderful the experience had been. It is, undoubtedly, a must in this windy city. We got there early in the morning so that we could skip the long line, however, Willis Tower being such a major attraction, it proved impossible trying to skip the lines. My best friend and I, climbed the tower in excitement. Despite being so windy outside, once you walked into the building its central heating plant greets you warmly. The cost is $23 dlls per person, quite reasonable. The actual sky-deck seems as though an empty large space which eases the whirling seas of people. A Coffee shop or a souvenir stand may come handy. The view is just breathtaking, specially the northern view ,which shows giant Michigan Lake stretching as far as the eye can see. As you may see in one of the pictures I took, the glass boxes provide a superb opportunity to take fabulous pictures.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Willis Tower in Chicago (formerly the "Sears Tower") and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the breathtaking views to the top-notch staff, everything about my visit was top-notch. The museum and attractions on the ground floor were both informative and entertaining, setting the stage perfectly for the elevator ride to the top. The museum provided a wealth of information about the history of the tower, as well as its place in Chicago's skyline. I was especially impressed with the interactive exhibits, which allowed me to learn about the tower in a hands-on way. The displays on the construction of the tower were fascinating, and I learned so much about the engineering feat that went into building such an iconic structure. Once I was finished with the museum, it was time for the elevator ride to the top. This was easily one of the highlights of my visit. The elevator is fast and smooth, and the ascent to the top is exhilarating. Once at the top, the views were absolutely breathtaking. The panoramic view of Chicago was simply stunning, and I felt like I was on top of the world. The views from the Skydeck are simply stunning. The 360-degree view of the city is breathtaking, and being able to see for miles in every direction is an experience I'll never forget. The Ledge, with its glass floor extending out from the building, is a truly unique and thrilling experience that I would highly recommend. My wife and my daughter each felt obliged to ham it up and get videos from the "glass box." But what really sets the Willis Tower apart is the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were happy to answer any questions I had and offered suggestions on the best way to experience the tower. In particular, I want to pay tribute to two employees who went above and beyond to make my visit special. When I realized I had lost my hat, they immediately sprang into action, searching high and low until they found it. Their kindness and dedication were truly exceptional and made my visit all the more memorable. Overall, I cannot recommend the Willis Tower highly enough. It's an iconic Chicago landmark that is not to be missed. And thanks to the incredible staff, it's an experience that I'll never forget. Five stars all around!

Very Long waiting Lines, had to wait about 2 hours to finally get up. You get very close to People in the Elevator so you shouldn't have a Fear of that. Prices are expensive but quite normal for Chicago Standards. The View is awesome and you can see all over Chicago. Getting Pictures taken is not worth the Money, just take a few by yourself. Although a Place to visit 1 Time but I don't feel the need to visit it any more than that.

The introduction prior going up to the top is beautifully created which provided tourists with the knowledge of the city. The view on top is also quite stunning, except that the windows were really dirty, with many MANY spiders seen across the windows. I have been to other similar sightseeing towers like SKY100 in Hong Kong, they definitely don't have dirty windows like these. I have literally checked out all the windows trying to find a spot where I can film clean and clear footage. Unfortunately all the videos I took were somehow distrupted by handprints / spiders / various kinds of stains outside the window. Honestly if you are gonna charge us for such a view, the least you can do is to clean more frequently and provide a clear view.

Great view of the city. 103 floor FAST elevator to the top. Now that they’ve added “The Ledge”, it’s very scary and cool. Hang around a while and you’ll see plenty of people that just can’t make their way out into the boxes even after they’ve already seen dozens do it. It’s amazing what fear will do to rational people. Again, great views of the city and the lake. Miles and miles and miles on clear days. I try to stop by Willis Tower every time I’m in Chicago. I don’t know why really. It’s just cool to be up that high I guess.

My experience in Chicago was truly memorable, especially thanks to my visit to the iconic Willis Tower. I opted to purchase my tickets online, which turned out to be an excellent decision as it facilitated my access to the building. Even if you arrive half an hour or an hour before or after your scheduled time, you won’t have any problems accessing the Skydeck. As someone who has had the opportunity to visit several skyscrapers throughout the United States, I can say that although the view from the Willis Tower wasn’t the most impressive I’ve experienced, it was still spectacular. The views of Lake Michigan and the impressive architecture of the city offered a unique perspective of Chicago that is worth experiencing. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the ease of access to the building. Entry to the Skydeck was quick and hassle-free, allowing me to begin my adventure at the top of the city without any unnecessary delays. Once inside the Skydeck, I was amazed by the breathtaking panoramic views that stretched out before me. From the Chicago skyline to the vast waters of Lake Michigan, each view was more spectacular than the last. I had the opportunity to walk on the famous glass floor, an exciting experience that allowed me to have a unique perspective of the city beneath my feet. In addition to the impressive views, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the Skydeck. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and the facility was impeccably maintained. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the history and architecture of Chicago through the interactive exhibits available at the Skydeck. In summary, my visit to the Willis Tower and its Skydeck was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago. From the easy access and ticket purchase to the impressive views and attention to detail, every aspect of my visit exceeded my expectations. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip and an experience I will remember for a long time.

Definitely worth it to buy tickets for the skydeck. It was a beautiful view over the city and the whole experience was so fun! I recommend going just before sunset and make sure to check the live cam online just in case it’s too foggy. They were very kind to offer a refund when you’re not able to see anything.

Scydeck Chicago at Willis Tower.Terrible employees! Rude! I was not allowed to take a photo with a view of the transparent glass! We didn't come for free! It takes someone 20 minutes to take a photo, they didn’t give us even a minute and they were even rude!! Terrible experience. No impressions from this tower! Be prepared to be denied photo services! they do what they want. I don't recommend visiting this. The view is not worth the money.

Enjoyed the small history of Chicago and the tower. The top of the tower had amazing views and the glass ledge was pretty cool but a but scary. They only give you 2mins in the glass ledge which is a short amount of time but enough to take your pictures. There are plenty of other windows on all sides of the floor to take great photos. Would do it again on my next visits

Try to visit the ledge on the weekdays the crowd is less and you will get more time on the top. The two minutes pass really quick, get some suggestions from the employees for good photos…. Sometime when the crowd is less they allow to get in line again as well…..

Really neat experience. Probably pretty expensive if you're doing your attractions piecemeal, but we got the city pass so we did 5 things for an average of like $25/each. It was crowded but it was also a Friday evening when we visited so that's always a consideration. But yeah, super cool stop.

I went to Chicago with my family in summer specifically on August 2023 and we had a great time there, we went up to the Skydeck up the elevator and that was thrill itself going up 2000 ft high and the way to the skydeck is also very attracting with pictures of Chicago city traditions and despite it was cloudy and raining a little it was still very fun seeing the city from so high up and it’s also great that we didn’t in the long line for buying tickets as we already purchased them online. Overall I would def recommend it to someone who is visiting Chicago for the first time

Buy tickets in advance for $30 as opposed to $80 in person. Or just go to the top of the Hancock tower (bar) for free. Either way. Museum at the bottom was kind of interesting. The photo ops at the top are plentiful and it’s never too crowded as they manage the crowds.

Visiting the Willis Tower in Chicago was fantastic experience! The SkyDeck offered breathtaking views of the entire city, making it a must-visit attraction. I highly recommend booking tickets in advance to avoid the crowds and ensure a smooth visit. The ticket price is pricey, but it's an iconic attraction. Exploring the tower early allowed us to savor the panoramic vistas without the rush. Additionally, the historical exhibits at the beginning of the SkyDeck journey added an informative and engaging touch to the overall experience. All in all, the Willis Tower is a top-notch destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable and awe-inspiring adventure in the heart of Chicago.

Various locations for photo ops and selfies throughout your trek to the top. There are various ledges and you will be directed to your assigned line. For two people you are timed 60 seconds for pictures on the ledge. For 3 people and up you are given 90 seconds. They are very strict on the time even if you have handicap or elderly in your party. Make sure to buy your tickets in advance as they will only let you in during your designated time.

Have you been to Chicago, if you've not been to the Willis (Sears Tower) sky deck? Great 360 views from flow 103 with views to neighbouring Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan in the distance! Needless to say, try coordinating your visit on a clear day! The photo service was pricey, which I only opted for to complete the experience, but wouldn't advise. Try to get there early to avoid long waiting queues. You can even buy tickets at the location even if the online booking service says there are no time slots available! In case you have to wait, there are some fast-food restaurant options at the base.

Beautiful view and experience~ I didn't know there were other great photo opportunities within the Willis Tower. I only knew about the sky deck (the ledge). When you enter, you could bypass directly to the ledge, but I wouldn't recommend it because it's like a mini museum/exhibition with things to see and different photo opportunities. There is a long line for the ledge, which can be up to 30 minutes, and you have a time limit of 90 seconds. I was actually really scared to sit down, but I did it in the end! I thought we wouldn't spend more than an hour here but do expect to spend 2 hours maximum.

Well what can I say that haven’t already been said about this place. Since a kid I have all been Infatuated over really tall skyscrapers and this was my favorite one and I got the chance to see it in person. Expect the day we went, it was very cloudy/ windy and the sky deck was closed for that day. I still got the chance to see it though. Will be back again one day to finally get to the top and see this wonderful city from above.

Gorgeous views from the former Sears Tower. Unlimited repeats on the edge to take photos and look down and out on the city. Really fun time. It's fine to take your time walking through the Chicago exhibits before taking the elevator up.

The skydeck experience is something I think everyone should experience when they come to Chicago. If you're afraid of heights this a great way to challenge that. :) You also go through like an exhibit that talks about Chicago's history before you get into the elevator. As you go up on the elevator they tell you what major monument you're level with. The stuff at the gift shop is also really cute.

Here for the Skydeck experience, but the building itself is really cool. There is staff at every entrance to point you in the right direction. Prepare for a lot of walking before you even get to the Skydeck and Ledge. There's an entire retrospective about Chicago that's really interesting. Once you get to the 103rd floor, there are lots of windows for pictures. Then you'll need to stand in line to get to the Ledge and you get only 90 seconds for your experience, but it's plenty of time for a bunch of fun photos. And the view really is fantastic!
